It's too funny... this cruise has been over for month's and we have more posts tonight than Karen's upcoming cruise has on the entire thread.

There's only one way to solve the problem.

She'll just have to pay for all of us to cruise with her, and we'll liven up that cruise thread. All in favor???

:rotfl2:

:wave2:

Time for bed!

NEWSFLASH ~ Thanks to the rain soaked 3-day weekend MY SCRAPBOOK IS DONE (all 150 pages). After the fact I remembered Amy's DVD and went "DUH!" But I'll just stick it in a page and it'll be the multi-media portion of the book (i.e. after looking at the book, pop in the dvdv :) )

Awesome! :cheer2: 150 pages of scrapbooking!! :teeth: That's just a few pictures, isn't it. :cool1:

It's not my stuff on ebay - cuz I've already used some of my things. I keep my foot spa nearby stocked with all my goodies. :cool1:

Mary - John paints my nails - I tell him to think of them as those model cars that you put together and then paint :rotfl2:

Okay, I'm going to use a bit of peer pressure and ask Gary if he'll paint my toenails. I'm sure I'll get one of these looks...... Maybe I'll just have to let Gary in on the cost of the couple of pedicures I've gotten over the last couple of months. Maybe he'd be more agreeable to "help me out". :teeth:

Walker, OTOH, would be right there helping me out. :rotfl:

Good morning, Cindy & everyone else. However, it looks like, so far, Cindy is the only one up and posting!! :rotfl2:

I had a late night posting, and Emily was in my room bright and early at 6:30am. Good thing that I don't have a lot going on today, as opposed to yesterday.

Well, off to get the girls ready. Check back later.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! :rotfl2: (this isn't me laughing, it's me having a temper tantrum---although based on your children's wonderful behavior, you aren't the kinda mom who falls for temper tantrums, are you?)

I would bet Amy has never seen a full blown temper tantrum from either of her girls. :goodvibes

What do you suppose the picture DVD is worth??? :rotfl2:

That will be next.

Amy, better post a list of who is in the picture exchange. Then we'll know which one of us ratted out the rest.

:rotfl2:

Do you guys realize that we've posted over 100 times just tonight?!?!?! We have been chatty tonight!! I'm so glad that some of us are still here!!!

I think I had at least 6 pages to catch up on this morning.

I'm regretting putting sleep before fun. That is this morning. Last night I was dragging. :guilty:

Aye!! All opposed??

I don't here anything!! Ok Karen, I guess that you need to get out that credit card and start taking everyone's cabin requests.

Hey, another democratic vote on our thread.

Sort of like the one the night Lisa & I ordered the crowns & tiaras (HEY, I didn't see either of those on that ebay auction......hmmmm). I think that was a 2-0 vote and then Gail chimed in and made it 3-0.

Gosh, are we good or what? :rotfl:

261 photos to be exact Cindy ... and those are just the ones I uploaded to Winkflash and printed. As my book kept getting larger and larger I had to be more creative in putting at least 6 photos on a page. It took two trips (in the pouring rain) to AC to buy more pages. Everyone I've shown it to think it looks nice. I even showed it to DBF parents last night and they totally don't "get" Disney and even they were considering a Disney cruise afterward :) My favorite page is the DIS page w/ our scrap class pics, pin and all the other goodies.

Stephanie, that is so great! I'm hoping this winter to really sit down and work on some of my stuff. I have all sorts of materials (and some really neat things from the scrapbook exchange we did on the ship --thank, Mary, I know you helped me pick your bag). It's just getting it out and going where I drag my feet.

And, I can find a minute to come here now and again (just a minute :rotfl: no more!). Scrapbooking seems to take a lot more time just getting started. If I can drag myself away from her for an entire weekend, I could get some done.

Hey, we need to have a meet just to work on scrapbooks. I know Amy has been to some scrapbooking weekends. Wouldn't that be cool! :cool1:

Good morning! I'm up a bit late this morning after all the posting last night. :)

Wow Stephanie - 150 pages! Yikes!

I'm definately waiting until I get the cd's from Amy. I know Cindy had some great shots I want to use and I'm sure others will as well. My plan is to have a Disney scrapbook of the year (a week at WDW in June, the cruise, and our trip to Disneyland in December).

I have to get the scrapbook ordered - I know which one I want from Dinseyland (to celebrate the 50th).

Cindy - Archiever's has workrooms you can use. If you ever want to get together for a couple of hours on a weekend let me know. There is one not far from me and I think you have one not far from you as well. I would just need some notice as I do a lot of my work on the computer and then work on the page, but with enough notice I could bring some stuff for a few pages! Or you could come over here and we'd have all my stickers etc. to choose from!

Mary, I would love that! It would be incentive to actually work on it.

I've been in Archiever's only once. It was a wonderful store and their workrooms looked amazing. Your right, there is one not far from me (Bloomingdale). Actually, your not far from me either. We'll work out a time. I know your kind of busy right now with work and we're kind of busy with everything else.

Although I enjoyed the cruise and Cameron & my trip to WDW, I didn't realize just how much of a impact it would have on everything around here and the catching up. I still haven't unpacked from last weekend. This weekend is another busy one -- Cameron & Gary are doiing their 1st Civil War Re-enactment this weekend. Cameron is really looking forward to it -- Gary's just kind of a long for the ride as Cameron's not old enough to do it on his own yet. We're kind of keeping it quiet so Walker doesn't get the idea he can participate. Anyway, they will be gone most of this weekend.

Maybe we can plan something for either early November or January after the holidays.

I would love it! :cool1:

Gosh, your life sounds like mine.....

"yeah, I'd love to get together....How about the second weekend in April??"

Ahhh, you must not have seen Emily in the Atrium before dinner taking pictures. She had a full blown tantrum, including screaming & kicking, all over putting her shoe back on after taking the casual pictures. What an awful experience!!!

That could not have been your Emily. Must have been a clone!

Cindy - whatever works best for you. If you wanted to come here we could take over the dining room (where I do most of my scrapping) and I have a number of tools (paper cutter, Xyron, and some punches). Plus I have some older DCL stickers etc. that you could have.

Early November might not be good for me. I know between now and the holidays will be crazy so maybe we can get together after that. Except for the weekend of Dec. 9th I'm free so if you find yourself free in December we can do that as well.

Sometimes that's the best way to do it. Seriously, how people with 5-6 children keep up with everything is amazing.

There is one family I hear about from the director of the preschool/kindergarten all the time (the one Cameron & I ran into at WDW). Frequently, she will tell me about the family who feels that homework is "optional". Their children (4 of them I believe) never did any of the extra/homework projects through preschool. Now they are all older, and the parents still feel homework is "optional". The kids are involved in all sorts of sports and are not expected to do any homework. That I just don't get. :confused3

Or, she was possessed by a demon child, but I'll tell you, it was horrible. I carried her up 2 flights of stairs, under my arm, while she was kicking me, just to get out of the atrium. It took close to 15 minutes to just calm her down, then, she was fine.

Well, gotta run to bring Emily to preschool!! I'll check back a little later!!

Don't you wish you could flip your emotions like a child does. 15 minutes of screaming and crying and carrying on would ruin my day as well as many days afterwards. I would carry that baggage with me.

But not kids, they can flip as easily as a pancake. It amazes me every time!
