Good morning everyone! Hope everyone has a great day. Don't forget Friday night is cruise chat night. I'll be there and hope you can make it too!

Also, don't forget that today is Veteran's Day. Thank any Veterans you know today, and remember those that helped to keep our freedom.

With that being said, I need to do something special for Chris today. Any ideas?

Peer pressure in action, don't ya think!!?!?!?!?!?!?

I feel like I'm in 7th grade again!! :) (well, my mind does, not my body!) HA!

We'll see what these ppl say/do over the next few weeks. We aren't pushing it. :)

Good point Amy. Yes a big big thank you to all our service men and women!

As for Chris - is there anything special he likes to do that he doesn't get to do often? Or a special meal that he really really likes? Tell him thank you from us!

Hello everyone! I haven't been around much lately. I have been a little....

It doesn't look like we will be on the next member cruise. We have really enjoyed the past two member cruises but this one would be hard to do. I checked with Morgan's school and they have standardized testing that week and frown against taking her out. That with the increased points we decided to skip this one and consider a future member cruise or a 7-night cruise the following year.

We did however RSVP for the member gathering in Chicago next weekend. Anyone else going? We will be there on Sunday @ 10am. It sounds really cool. They said to be sure and bring your camera. It is a 2-hour event with entertainment and refreshments. They even asked if we had any food allergies.

Thanks! :flower: It will be especially sad next October when everyone is getting ready to leave. I'm going to have to stay away from these boards so that I don't torture myself.

On a separate note... Has anyone been to Costco lately? They have the cutest Disney "jogging" suits for toddler girls! I bought Allie the Tinkerbell one and I think I'm going back for another. They spell out the princess name across the chest of the zippered jacket and then on the seat of the pants it spells TINK.

How cute! We don't have Costco here.

::sigh:: I'm kinda bummed that we'll be skipping this one too, but between pulling Sam out of school right after a week of vacation, and looking at the points chart, it's just not happening.

Two quick questions though:

Is anyone planning on attending the Member Mixer on December 22nd??? If so, we'll be there!

Also, I just had a great thought - is anyone planning on spending any time at Disney BEFORE the cruise instead of after??? Maybe we could wish you Bon Voyage, and see you at WDW before the cruise since Sam is out of school that week. We could hang out at the Food and Wine Festival, and celebrate Cameron's birthday... :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Costco gets a lot of Disney clothes and p.j.'s. If I were at home I would post a picture and take orders. :) They are really cute. I checked costco.com but they don't have them listed. If you ever get a Costco I would recommend joining!

Good morning Member Cruisers.

Call in day for Member Cruise 2006 is 3 weeks away!

Three weeks doesn't seem that long at all. Now I'm getting nervous!

And, it doesn't seem that long ago that we were looking forward to 3 weeks until sail date for the SSMC05! :cheer2:

Especially with Thanksgiving in there, it's going to come rather quickly!!

:thewave:

It wasn't too long ago that I was excited about being able to call in single-digit weeks! Soon we will be into single-digit days before we can call in!! I can't wait and good luck to everyone who wants onboard! Annmarie

Yes, good luck to all SSMC06 hopefuls :shamrock:

May the (Disney) force be with you :goodvibes

Whew!!! I'm exhausted!! Chris and I are working on gutting our master bathroom and remodeling it. Boy, oh boy, I'm tired. Luckily, Emily is at her grandma's house and my mom has been here at the house entertaining Madison. We have taken out everything but the tub, toilet & drywall, and 1/2 the floor. I got tired peeling up the peel-n-stick floor, that stuff is stuck very well to the concrete. And, Chris had a heck of a time taking out the built-in vanity because it was the original, 30-yr old vanity. Basically, he broke it into pieces in order to take it out.

Well, my break is over!! Back to work!! See you all later!!

Amy, you never checked back in. How's the bathroom remodeling? You and Chris are probably exhausted -- or still working on it!

Your lucky Emily is at Grandma's and the other Grandma came to help out with Madison. I don't know how you would have been able to tackle that project with two more little "helpers".

Hope all is well!

We didn't do TOO much more yesterday. We finished taking out the floor and then Chris and I had a nice steak dinner to celebrate a late Veteran's Day. Then, late last night, he went to Home Depot to pick up adhesive remover. Today, we're taking out the toilet and putting it in the garage(one of the only things staying in the new bathroom). Then, we're going to remove the adhesive from the concrete floor and then start taking out the drywall. The fiberglass tub surround is held in by the drywall, so once we get the drywall done, out comes the whole, ugly, avocado green, tub/shower surround.

I'll just be happy if we can get the entire bathroom demolished by the time that Emily comes home tonight. Then, we can just spend out time putting the bathroom back together. The fun part is deciding what happens first. But, I think that we've figured it out (I hope!?!?!?).
