Won't be long. I am so glad this work week has finally ended.

10.5 hours for us.

I just finished packing so I snuck back down to check how things were going here. Maybe I'm nuts but I am enjoying reading along with all the fluff and stuff-it's calming my fear of flying nerves. We don't leave until I get home from work tomorrow afternoon so I'll check back in the morning too.

Thanks Amy, I just have to remember to breathe. It's the claustrophobic(sp) feeling when they close the plane's doors that freaks me out. I still manage to fly three times a year to get to Disney though.

Some of the work. We went in and met his teacher and dropped off his supplies. She gave us some of the worksheets she was going to have the class work on the first week. He will still probably have some catch up to do when we get back.

I believe that Sam's teachers loaded him down with every single assignment his class will be doing for the week. He even has Religion homework! When he came home, he had 5 books, 5 workbooks and a stack of worksheets. We've managed to get through social studies and start in on a couple of other subjects. Depending on how much we can get done on the plane, Sam will probably have about an hour's worth of schoolwork each day. I think the thing that made him the happiest was the list of makeup tests and quizzes for when he gets back.

This is the lightest we haev every traveled with the Exception of Tanzania, where we were allowed 35 lbs total
