Good Moring Everyone!

I just have to put everything in the suitcase and then we are ready to head to the airport!

Safe travels to all and we'll see most of you tomorrow and the others Sunday when we board the ship.

Hi Georgie,

Buying a new wardrobe isn't such a bad idea. Are you sure you want to pack? :teeth:

Have a safe trip & we'll see you tomorrow!!

OK, I'm back from the store, and got the last of what I think that I need. Emily is home sick again today. Not a good sign for her being able to go to the clubs and us being able to go to Palo. She's had this nagging runny nose & cough. I think that the cough is coming from her nose draining, but she just sounds awful. I figure that we'll just have to wait and see. It's really not THAT bad, it's just that I'd rather her rest today so that she has a better chance of recovery.

Oh, add to that that the rest of us have already had this little cold and it only lasted a few days, hers has lasted 3 weeks. Someone suggested that it could be allergies and not an actual cold, but I'm not really sure about that. Chris and I don't have any allergies, but my brother is pretty allergic to pet dander and pollen. I suppose anything is possible, it's just odd that hers is lasting SO long, compared to the rest of us.

Amy, :goodvibes

Cameron woke up this morning with a pretty good cough going on. When he comes home, we'll decide whether to make a visit to the doctor. Gee, I think we're on the 3x a week plan there -- Wednesday for Walker's ear infection follow up, Thursday for Walker's bug bite (which is much better) and possibly today for Cameron. We are good customers. :rotfl2:

As if that's not enough, Walker's classroom had a note on the door -- not a good thing. Strep Throat exposure Wednesday (on the first day no less :earseek: ).

It's going to be a LONG winter!

I'm trying as much as I can to wrap a few things up. It's free day play at my house for those who are here -- a rarity which they enjoy. We're waiting for the exterminator to come -- another wasp nest is forming on my gutters. The good news is I haven't seen my friend, Mickey, in a while. I will see a nicer one this coming week, though!

Maybe I'll even put a movie on for them --- if my daycare kids watch 2 hours of tv in a month, that's a lot around here. I understand working parents sometimes need to get things done and tv can be a nice treat for the kids, it's just a norm in my house to watch it. Only on an occassion and then, boy, are they glued to it. :teeth:

Ya know, there was a note in the Monday Memo of Emily's school that there were reported cases of strep throat in both the preschool and the elementary. I wonder if I should have Chris take her to the doctor today, just in case. I'm going to call him to see what he thinks.

Well, Emily has an appt with the pediatrician at 1:50pm. Chris is going to take her, that way I can get some stuff done while Madison is sleeping and Emily is at the doctor.

Hello All! I'm here today. Off so I'm at home trying to get caught up on the board (home PC was down) and trying to pack Mace. Less than 24 hrs and I'll be up in the air! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

hi everyone that is still posting

made it to WDW - checked in and meeting some fellow cruisers at MGM and seeing Fantasmatic tonight.

ride up from ft. lauderdale was great - made it in 2-1/2 hours. hardly no traffic -

there were many, many power trucks traveling north - from all over the SE U.S. - probably 75 to 100 we passed.

each plaza was open with gas and no lines at all. we stopped once and filled up - ride was nice

see all at PI tomorrow sometime after 3 pm - it is finally starting

GEORGIE - have a safe trip down -

for everyone else traveling by car tonight or tomorrow morning, please stay safe.

had u/sound at hospital this am - yep - lots of gall stones were found - don't know what dr. will do when I get home. I just have to eat bland food while away

ANOTHER NEWS ITEM:

I LOST MY DRIVER'S LICENSE - GLAD I HAVE MY PASSPORT. :guilty: :guilty: !!!!!

I'm sure DCL can accomodate. Hopefully it won't bother you again! At least it was an "easy" thing to figure out, in the scheme of things!

Car is packed. House is 99.9% clean...waiting for the kids to finish cleaning the playroom and pick up the few things in dd's room so I can finish vacuumming (sp?) Cat is at the kennel....he's 4 months old...didn't look so pleased when they popped him in the cage. I ordered the "ultimate" package for him....extra treats, extra cuddling, etc. He'll probably repay me by pooping on my couch when we get home!!

Just waiting for ohiomickey to get home --not sure if he could bug out of his noon meeting with the partners, I haven't heard from him, so my guess is he'll be there until 1:00, home at 1:30, out of here at 1:45. That is, AFTER we turn off the water (another fear of mine....a pipe will burst while I'm gone! --well, maybe that'll put out the fire!) :rotfl2:

Kay, Good to hear gas was not a problem, less than an hour here at work then home to get Lynn up and do the final get together stuff, walk the pups, they are headed to puppy camp this afternoon. As goofy as they are I do miss them.

Getting closer,

After this post, I'm packing the computer, and after I eat a little lunch, I'll be getting in my Vue and driving to Indianapolis. I'll stay and my sister's house tonight, and if I get a chance, I'll use her computer to check on things here. We're flying to Orlando first thing in the morning, so I'll see most of you at PI tomorrow night!

It's always best to check. 24 hours on antibotics, if it is strep, and she'll be feeling much better.

Good luck!

Yeah, I don't think that it's strep, but I'd rather pay the $15 copay to make sure that it's NOT.

I'm looking forward to meeting you (as well as everyone else). :cheer2:

ITA.

And, I'm sure she'll thank you later for the experience of a throat culture if they do one. :scared:
