Today is our actual anniversary, so I think I'll make something special for dinner tonight... I'll have to give it a little thought, and figure something out.

If Mrs. Lips only knew what a profit she could have made if she sold Blinkies. :rotfl: :rotfl:

I think mrs.lips is taking a cruise and we've paid for the entire thing! You know she lurks on this thread and laughs at us!! :rotfl2:

Connie, no problem. I bought mine from her several weeks ago.

Wow - that is a major accomplishment. Good for you for not giving up. :grouphug: to you for having to face that so early in life.

I thought the same thing. I went to pick Emily up from school, and we had to go to the dance store to get her a leotard, tights & shoes for her 1st ballet/gymnastics class that starts tomorrow after school. I thought for sure that I would have fun reading TONS of pages.

Allie just had her first ballet class tonight! They are so cute in their leotard and tights! I was just getting ready to email DH her picture since he is in Iowa and missed her first class.

Here she is:

Anyone have the short course to catch Connie up on the Mrs.Lips saga?

I'll try but I'm sure someone will come along with a shorter, cuter, better version.

Someone posted about a "fish extender" on our thread and then several of us found them being sold on ebay by Mrs.Lips. There was mass flurry of activity with bidding going on (I did the buy it now option, ebay is much to stressful for me). When we realized that the sellers name was Mrs. Lips, it just because even more funny. Around that same time, someone posted that the vacuums on the ship actually had a name "Henry".

Silly some of us are and we've really had a good time with Mrs. Lips on this thread -- along with about a gizzillion other things!

Connie - you are making me smile here! I think you could start a business to compete with Mrs. Lips if you make them. She might come after you! :rotfl2:

Ahhh, so you're another one that's gonna be a goof-ball and take your children's picture in the middle of Sept in Santa hats on the beach. Good thing that we don't all have mutual friends, otherwise they will wonder when they get all the same cards.

I was thinking the same thing! Good thing we don't live near each other. Maybe we should review each others Christmas card list! :)

Well... I'm off to give the girls a bath and then to hunt down our Santa hats!

Jenny - OMG she is just so precious! I love the entire outfit and she clearly looks so happy. Thanks for sharing!!!

1. Favorite pig out food: Depends on the mood, entirely. Sometimes sweet stuff (normally contains chocolate), but sometimes salty (Pirate Booty is a fave there).

2. Nickname: Little Bit

3. Favorite Childhood memory: My grandpa just up and taking me over to Kmart one Sunday afternoon to buy a plastic horse with posable legs that I just HAD to have

4. Personal heroes: Any of the astronauts. Had life gone differently....

5. I've never been able to: Whistle

6. If I could do it over, I'd: NOT get married while I was in college, and go to vet school instead.

7. I'd give anything to meet (& why): The Bee Gees - and now it's too late. My WORST childhood memory was not being able to see them in concert because we didn't have a credit card (that dates me), and a few years ago my husband swore (even though he doesn't like them all that well) that no matter WHERE they were, we would go. And then Maurice died...

8. If I could change one thing about myself: Skinnier legs

9. People who knew me in High School thought I was: A computer brain.

10. My most irrational act: Trying to find my old JUNIOR HIGH FLAME while I was going through my divorce. What on earth did I hope to gain?

11. If I've learned one thing in life it's: You CAN have too many dogs.

12. Major accomplishment: Having a successful consulting business all on my own.

13. The three words that best describe me: Liberal, serious, and steady

Mary and Mark - love that photo!

Here is our photo from MVMCP last year (and proof we do exist!)- Matt was not too thrilled to wear the hats until it was FREEZING that night and we wore just about everything we had!

Awwww, how cute!! I won't get to see her before her class, since she goes right after preschool. But, I plan on going a little early to pick her up, so I can snap some pictures of her.
