Jenny - yes they are comfortable. I will say that I don't care so much for most of the croc styles that look like garden shoes. Others however love them. That's why I purchased the Nile version. It has more of a traditional sandle look.

I cannot find the NILEs in my stores. I like them better too, but may just do with flip flops and Teva sandals.

I checked the webpage and realized how easy it would be to make them, so I am all set. I just was not sure what we were talking about and now I know. Depending on my progress with DH's Pirate Captain coat, I may have a pair on the cruise--time will tell.

Last night in either Hobby Lobby or Michael's I saw these little packages of trim that were add ons to flip flops? I've never used them and didn't look at them to read the instructions but I wonder if that might be an option for some.

Just wanted to let you know. I have all our door sings done. I'm starting to pack today!! We leave on September 1 st. The boys start school on August 29 th. It's going to be a mad house that week. So packing has to be done before the start of school!

I freely admit I'm a chatty Cathy. Funny thing is for my first couple of years on the DIS I don't think I even hit 800 posts. Then I found the cruise meets board and .

Hopefully it hasn't all been fluff and people have gotten some good information out of my many many posts!

Thanks Amy. I did/do daily good mornings on both the 10 day and May cruise. Started on the 10 day and was asked to continue on the May cruise (lots of the same cruisers).

Anyway I did a little breakdown and here's where my chattiness has been.

If you look at replies on the cruise meets board the top 4 are:

December '04 10 day thread - where I had 2797 of the posts

May '05 repo thread - no posts from me

May '06 Double scoop thread - where I have 1180 of the posts (and still many many months to go)

September '05 Member Cruise thread - where I have 1,056 posts


What can I say I love getting to know my fellow cruisers.
