They are all down for a nap. I wish I was.
We went for our annual end of the summer bowling trip. I find it's always stressful. It's hard for the kids to wait their turn and it's tough to make sure they are all safe when the other is taking their turn. Sometimes I wonder why we go.
Today was extra special.
One of the boys I care for, about the 4th frame, decided to give the ball a swift kick with his foot.

Needless to say, it hurt. This would be my one "problem child" if I were to say I had one. He's 5 1/2 - almost 6 and should know better than to do that. Then lied to me and said he saw the older boys doing it - not. The way the older boys fling the ball, I knew this wasn't the truth -- not to mention I was watching them too.
As if that wasn't enough, I'm helping the 4 year old and all the sudden he has something in his mouth. When I asked what, he told me "gum". What? We didn't bring any gum.

No need, he picked it off of the bottom of the table.
Let's just say these are two phone calls I'm not looking forward to make this afternoon.
I'd rather stay here and have fun.

Anyone have a konk kooler??
