I'm still not getting all the smilies - every time I click on the show all smilies - it's like I don't think so, buddy.

Diana, did your lack of smilies carry over to Kristi's lack of smilies??

How strange.

I have mine -- just in a different order.

Good morning, all! I loved the fluffy question of the day - thanks for posting that! My list (yup, got a list) is: ziplocks in different sizes (you have no idea how many times this tip has come in handy), travel kleenex (because I'm a big boo-hoo-er), 2 swimsuits (one is always ready to go), rubber bands (like the ziplocks, you never know), People magazine to read on the plane (it's fluffy and you can throw it away when you're done without guilt!) Probably more to add when my caffeine kicks in.

Kristi - thank you for reminding me about tissues. I'm allergic to many brands and need to remember to pack the Puffs.

I've made a list from everyone's tips and am going to pack from the list - woo hoo!

:cheer2: They are all down for a nap. I wish I was. :teeth:

We went for our annual end of the summer bowling trip. I find it's always stressful. It's hard for the kids to wait their turn and it's tough to make sure they are all safe when the other is taking their turn. Sometimes I wonder why we go. :confused3

Today was extra special.

One of the boys I care for, about the 4th frame, decided to give the ball a swift kick with his foot. :earseek: Needless to say, it hurt. This would be my one "problem child" if I were to say I had one. He's 5 1/2 - almost 6 and should know better than to do that. Then lied to me and said he saw the older boys doing it - not. The way the older boys fling the ball, I knew this wasn't the truth -- not to mention I was watching them too.

As if that wasn't enough, I'm helping the 4 year old and all the sudden he has something in his mouth. When I asked what, he told me "gum". What? We didn't bring any gum. :confused3 No need, he picked it off of the bottom of the table. :crazy2: :crazy2: :scared: :scared:

Let's just say these are two phone calls I'm not looking forward to make this afternoon.

I'd rather stay here and have fun. :cool1: Anyone have a konk kooler?? :rotfl2:

Don't you love days like that!!! Mine are both down and the house is quiet. I need to do some bills, then I'm going to veg for a little while, since I cleaned this morning. I really need to get the ingredients for those konk koolers.

Mmmm....my two are out cold too, I could really go for one of these! Guess we are going to have to take pics of konk koolers so we have them for the future. I can't wait to start packing!!

I wish I could take a nap! Ugh work is dragging on this week - guess it's cause I am so excited about our trip being less than a month away!

Uh, yummy!!! I need to go to Publix tonight, maybe I'll have to pick up some of this stuff for some cocktails. I know that I have at least one type of the rum, not sure about both.

Hey no fair!!! I want to participate in cocktail hour too!!! 2 days of school down. Tomorrow is the first full day. I was in the car pick-up line this afternoon, and they handed us a page of "Car Line Rules". I was talking to a girlfriend on my cell, and I read her the whole list as she laughed.... there are FIFTEEN car line rules!!! And these are specific to the lower car line. There are general rules (got those on book day), and the upper line has their own. This school seems to take their car lines very seriously :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

The good news is that ds has decided that he really likes his new school, and his two main teachers have been officially been declared "cool". I know this must be a load off their minds. Personally, I think it has something to do with the fact that they held off on homework until tomorrow. :wizard:

I hear the list of 11 day cruisers is growing. I want to go to but I'm not sure about school for Cameron.

What to do, what to do????

Book it and make your final decision at a later date! It will give you time to think without any pressure that it will become sold out. Your deposit is 100% refundable until final payment date. :cheer2: Go Cindy, You Can Do It :cheer2:

Hey Diana where are some of my smilies???? I have some blank boxes and some with a red x in them. :confused3

OK Kids here is a question,

Have been to Key West several times but only once before on a cruise, Western Inaugural, on that cruise we docked with the starboard side to the dock. Is this always the case in Key West for DCL or is there a chance we might dock port side to the dock?

Just thinking about sunset.

Hi Scott!

That would be something if we could view the sunset from the room :goodvibes

Mary + Mark... you've been to Key West before on DCL... right? Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

My thought was to book it now, to get the best deal. We have until 90 days out to pay for it, and we can cancel if we need to. So, go for it! Book it and then just see what happens.

Didn't you do your power point presentation and all for him. When are you going to tell him - next August :rotfl2:

John and I and friends of ours are planning on booking it in the next couple of days. Hopefully the rates don't go up by then!
