Hey, look at all these smilies with one one eye :magnify: ---
:crazy2: ;) pirate: :bored:

Lisa, about that night light. It better be battery operated. Did you miss the post about lack of outlets? ;)

LOL... did I forget to mention that I will be packing a couple of power strips??? :teeth:

OK play that twilight zone music one more time!

Glad to see that I'm not the only one with an overactive guilt gene. :rotfl2:

See, this is where the Catholic guilt thing gets tricky. I'm convinced that if I go to get Lasik, God will punish me for my vanity by having me go blind. I know, I know... no basis in biblical fact, and I don't think it would happen to anyone else, just me...

Ha! I wonder if that's what happened to me yesterday. We got a flat tire on the way to the Ohio State Fair. I ran over a big bolt and a chunk of metal that was in the road and then hobbled my car into the fair parking lot.

The prior day I was with my mom and she wanted to stop on a blind curve and on a hill to get something out of the middle of the road so no one would run over it. I told her she was nuts to want to go to the middle of the road on a blind curve and on a hill (an area where lots of accidents happen) to get something out of the road.

So there I stood in the middle of the dusty parking lot with a bolt in my tire wondering if it was God's way of getting back at me. ;) Of course, my wonderful dh said it was unfair that the *rest* of the family got punished for my error! :)

I thought I had hung up the Catholic guilt thing in 1994--when I stopped being Catholic. :confused3

That's why I use the bathroom light!

The blinkies feel funny on my feet. I'm trying hard not to succumb to peer pressure. I did however, buy another pair of Crocs to wear.....lime green!! Crocs are plenty wide...you might want to look into getting a pair for the cruise!

I'll be wearing my lime green crocs on the cruise! Of course, they don't match most of my wardrobe, so I'm going to be the girl whos shoes don't match her outfit!

Am I the only one who only has a handful of smilies to choose from?

Diana, I think someone is trying to tell you something :charac2:

really? I can't stand the bathroom doors being open because typically they go boom, boom, boom as they rock open and shut with the waves!! Hate when the closet door does that too!

No, scroll down the smilie list and at the bottom of the smilie drop down box it says ---show all smilies---

click that and a whole PAGE comes up. Click on the smilie that you want and it automatically inserts into your message.

:rotfl2: You may have *thought* you gave up being Catholic, but apparently, there is a good Catholic girl lurking inside of you... :rotfl2:

sorry, but *that* phenomenon never happened to me.

LOL... it developed in a lopsided way in me. I was pretty good, but I think that Sister Colleen still hasn't gotten over the time I told her I wasn't sure there was a God, as I was sitting in Confirmation class... :rolleyes1

If the ship gets to rocking pretty good, those velcro strips don't keep the closet door closed either. Since we are having only sunny skies and calm seas this cruise, it shouldn't be too much of a problem :sunny:

I'm not *exactly* sure....I suspect the injury happened when I was reaching under the couch to retrieve cat toys. It didn't start hurting right then, but about 12 hours later it was a bit sore. Then about 24 hours later I was having awful spasms where it would, literally, make me cry and would knock me over.

Muscle relaxants work for night. Motrin all day. But it's still hurting a good bit more than it should. Of course, my dh (the doc) says I need to "rest it more."

HA HA HA HA HA HA :rotfl2:

The thing I have found that helps is to take a hand towel, fold it in quarters the long skinny way, wrap it around my neck and safety pin the overlap in the front. Wrap it as tight as is comfortable but still so I can swallow and breathe then sleep that way at night. Keeps the head in a straight line with the spine so I don't **** it to the side in my sleep and thus set up more muscle spasms for the next day.

Best wishes on feeling better soon.

Now they are back, my last couple of posts, the little box on the side only had like 8 smilies in it, they were scattered all around. :confused3 I have bad smilie luck.

As for the bathroom door, I basically prop it open with various things the keep it supported from the back and front. I'm like a cruising MacGyver!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: After many years of Catholic School-grammar and college, I can relate. That Catholic guilt isn't something you lose when you stop being Catholic I think! Although I don't know, I haven't given up being Catholic.

RE:Key WEST-I have never been there, so what is the one or two do not miss things to do? I was very interested in something Mark had on the website-the trolley tour. I am not a big shopper. I am more of the "what is cool to see here?", swim or snorkel would interest me more.

Alittle off topic: I am sure many of you have a stockpile of WDW/DCL mugs and cups used for refill. What do you do w/ them? I have WLV, Blizzard Beach(which I know I can reuse), DCL, VB.[/B]

We use our OKW mugs for coffee every morning and DH uses a DIXIE LANDINGS mug for his ice water as it does not sweat all over the desk like a regular glass in the summer. The Fort Wilderness mugs are in the Motorhome for daily coffee on trips. The Disney MAGIC mugs are in the stuff to pack for this cruise. We plan to use them for our free pop and coffee at the beverage bar so we are not using a lot of disposable cups and thus are minimizing our contribution to the waste stream.

At KW we have snorkeled twice with the FURY CATAMARAN--that is the group that does Disney's SNORKEL AND SAIL excursion (or whatever they call it). I have called them to see if we can get a better price booking directly with them and they told me they give Disney a discount.

This time we are trying the SAIL, KAYAK and SNORKEL excursion.

Another Twilight Zone moment....I too was a Catholic School girl....In fact my HS was all girls! :scared1: :scared1:

Cindy--you need to work on the Twilight Zone for our signatures! You are the graphic queen.

Diana, look at your smilies......they are all goofy! --- oh never mind, they are fixed now. :rotfl2:

Ah, graphics maybe. I'll have to see if I can enlist some help from my clippie counterpart to work on that.

Catholic school for me in 1st grade only.

All of my older brothers and sisters went when we live in Chicago. We moved to Northbrook and my parents still put us in Catholic school at first.

After that, it was public school for me.

I still remember St. Christeta :scared:

We bring all of those except the nightlight. I don't think there is one, but I just turn on the bathroom light and close the door based on how much light I want.

We either did that or kept the light on in the closet--blocked the door with a shoe on the side toward the door to the hall.

We use Disney Store and WDW shopping bags for laundry--the red one with Mickey on it. They fold up small when not in use and can hang on a hanger in the closet or off a convenient knob to catch the dirty laundry.
