I actually love Super Walmart. It is Target that drives me nuts. I can never find anything and if there is something I need to get for a gift off a registry it is always in the FAR corner, hiding in an illogical place. Give me a reason to go to Wally World any time.

Jan :earsgirl:

I'm with you Jan. I only go to Target for a select few things that Walmart doesn't have.

Ok, we're onto 277 pages. Do you think that we'll make it to 300 before Cindy gets back from HH???

Had another fun night in chat - thanks to everyone who joined in!

Congrats to everyone who got tagged today!

Funny Mary, I was just explaining to my son the story about the KTTW card!
I'll check with John to see if he has seen your card :rotfl2:

Amy, love your tag! I'm with you, I love Target - but Wal-Mart gives me the willies!

I wasn't on the boards yesterday and when I got back I had 11 pages to read. At that rate - Cindy will have to buy & bring her laptop to the cruise so she will be able to catch up.

I bet we are well past that by the time she gets home! Ut-oh, I'm supposed to be taking notes for her! :earseek:

YEAH!!! Another Target lover!!! My biggest problem with my local Walmart is that it's in a less-than-desirable town, so a lot of the people there are a little scary!!! DH doesn't mind it at all. Heck, he'll go at 3am if he needs to get something. Me, NO WAY!!! I'll only go in the light of day!!!

Okay, trying to catch up:

Love the new tags

Great looking embroidery Fred!

Welcome and welcome back to all those who have been lurking or busy with other endeavors. We just moved too, so I know how crazy it can be!

Good luck with the Croc Hunt Lynn!

Sorry everyone else's Wally World didn't have Blinkies for $2.50. Must have been a perfect feet special... :rotfl: (btw... dh just laughed and laughed when he heard about that... :rolleyes2 )

Off to read more...

Schenectady--I went to college in Troy and lived 14 years out past Grafton State Park.

Wow-can't go too far for too long.

First things first, Tricia(ArkMinnie) I hope everything goes well for your dad and i will say a prayer for him. You will know the best place for you to be when you need to. You don't have to do anything today.

RE:BREEZY POINT -I grew up and lived there all my life, until I got married. All of my friends and family are still there so I am in Breezy often-Who do you know?

I got my $5 (not $2.50) blinkies today-such a big selection I almost didn't know which one. I tried to get something a little lime greenish. I also picked up a lime green skirt-$11. gotta love those Wal-Mart prices.

I am still not clear on the magnet sheet for the door. So I buy a magnet sheet and decorate it? With what, like scrap booking type materials? Are they like my family logo? I'll put some bagels and pizza on mine!! :goodvibes

Did I really just write "like" twice in that paragraph!! It truely is summer Moondoggie! Totally-dude. plus it is 1:00 am. up late reading posts!

I cannot believe it is actually coming so soon. I still haven't told the kids.

Good morning everyone!

Nezy - tags are the little things under your user name. You can put whatever you want there, but when the tag fairy visits they put something in color. Often it is taken from something you say on the boards. The tag fairy seemed to get a kick out of the foot/crocs/blinky discussion on Friday as many tags came from that.

Door magnets. How you decorate it and what you use is up to you. Yes you can do it like a scrapbook. That would look great. Here's a basic design I did. I added our screen names in the middle in white and around the top put where we own (Boardwalk and Vero). Other people put their real names on them, still others put up a family picture. There are lots of options. You can do it in a print program or you could do it in something as simple as Microsoft World.

Click here to go to a thread on the main board that is full of lots of great ideas.

If anyone wants to use the above design for your door sign feel free. Just right click on the design and do save picture as. That will allow you to save the image to your desktop (or wherever else you would like to save it). Then just bring it in to Word or any print program. You can then add any personalization you wish.

If there is someone without a color printer who would like a door sign I'll be happy to help. We have a few sheets of magnetic paper left. Just drop me a pm and I can help you plan one and do it for you.

Ok, I think I am all caught up again on the board. I even went back to Walmart yesterday to find Lime green blinkies. I couldn't find any but two more pairs anyway for Janet and me so we'd have a back up-pair in case of malfunctions. I made my door magnet - sort of. I designed a basic one and janet(the comp whizin the family) figured it out in a publishing program for me. Now I have to tell her I forgot I had magnet paper to put it on. I'll have to wait til next weekend when she's not working though. ;) Now I'm off to work but al least it is only suposed to be 93 with a 100 degree heat index today yeah. :rolleyes2

Just wanted to say welcome to Jan from another "Hoosier cruiser." Glad you'll be sailing along with us.

As far as the Wal-Mart vs. Target discussion goes, the only thing I have to say is that Wal-Mart is not made for people that are "vertically challenged." I'm 5'4", and Wal-Mart has a way of putting things on shelves that are much higher than my head! I've even had to climb onto the lower shelf to reach a grocery item that is at the back of the top shelf!

And thanks Tag Fairy for the new tag! You are awesome!
:bounce:

See what you daytime posters started :)

Lots of laughs for sure and it looks like the tag fairy enjoyed it as well!

Cindy is going to be surprised when she gets back. Not to mention very busy trying to catch up.

Have a great day everyone! I'll try and check in again at lunch.
