Hi Debbie! Welcome aboard. There are a number of us who went on the first Member Cruise, a number who went to Member Homecoming last year, and a number for whom this is their first Member event. We also have a number of families for whom this will be their first cruise - what a great way to start.

It is not to late to join in on the fun. Mark has given you the info on buttons and meets. We also have a photo gallery (like on the website Mark gave you). I'm the one updating that so if you would like to be included just e-mail me a picture and your family info (names - real and DIS, cabin number, hometown, when you bought into DVC and where you own). marygums@monorailgreen.info

Now that you've found us don't be a stranger. :)

Welcome to the group, Debbie!! It's never to late to make new friends. Jump right in. We can be a chatty group at times, but we're gonna have LOTS of fun!!!

I remembered how to put pics on here........the one on the lower right is a cruise logo that we are working on . It is still very rough, and the material that it was sewn on is only a piece of muslin

Thanks for all of the good wishes for me and my dad. I am going to talk to the doctor's nurse on Monday.

Fortunately they think they are going to be able to just do a "patch" for the aneurism and will go in through the groin. That means that they will not have to open him up.

They even said that he would be able to go home the next day. I would never consider not being here for the surgery.

My late mother's best friend went in the hospital for a routine test a couple of months ago. Her older son went ahead with his vacation plans, and she died unexpectedly. It has been doubly hard on him.

Best wishes for your father Tricia! Here's hoping all goes well on all fronts.

Welcome to the group DEBBIE! :cool1:

Mary, thanks for the ride offer, but we're going to fly. We will be driving down in December though.

Welcome Aboard Debbie!

I just got back from Wal-Mart and I was able to get my Flashy Flippie Flops. I bought my write-on board too.

Now to go find magnet sheets for my door magnet!

Grumpy that logo is really cute. Nice job!

Gail - when are you going down in December? I'm driving down the end of November and will stay til Dec 10th or somewhere around then. Looking forward to seeing you and John again - the cruise will be here before we know it!!! :sunny:

Got my blinkies...$5 not $2.50 (way to go whoever got them that cheap, I forget). There was sooooooo many of them. I felt so stupid when I saw the whole wall of them and was thinking I'd never get a pair before I got there :rolleyes2 I also got the write on magnets and highligthers and another pair of shoes (good thing I'll have the organizer) and .... and .... and a Pirates of The Carribbean small notebook to keep for my trip journal. It was a very successful outing!

Talk to you all later :hyper:

Mary we will be leaving on Dec 16 as soon as my daughter gets home from Central. Sunday the 18th we are going on a 5 night cruise. Friday we are heading over to WDW until the 30th. I can't believe I'm going on the busiest week of the year - but what the heck - we'll still have fun! We will spend minimal time in the parks so I don't think it will be too bad. Just hoping for decent weather. I prefer the first of December down there, but I was waiting for my 3 oldest to finish up their semesters and get home from school.

I had to pay $5 for my Blinkies too! When I mentioned that someone said they were $2.50 the cashier looked at me like I had 3 heads. I was more interested in getting out of the store so I paid the $5 and was on my way.

I think I have read either here or in my passporter that we can tell our dining rotation from our KTTK cards - is that correct and do you think that will work the same way for our cruise even though it's "special"?

You are correct. When you check in and get your KTTW card it will have your dining rotation printed on it. Only 6 more weeks until you find out :goodvibes

Gail - that is a beautiful time to be down there. We only spent the one night last year (the 28th after our cruise) and it was crowded!

Of course we got to see Gary Sinese do Candlelight Processional so it was all worth it!

Cheryl, I know Mears uses those busses for other things when not needed for DCL runs so I'm thinking that's what you saw this morning. Either that or you caught them on their way out to Port Canaveral to meet up with the Wonder.

Tricia - if all goes well and you find that you can do the cruise you could always book onboard for a cruise for you and your dad (and maybe your sister too)!

Here's wishing your family all the best during this difficult time.

Tricia, Wishing you the best for your family situation.

Debbie, Welcome aboard.

HELP, Lynn is on a Crock Quest!!!!!! We redid our door sign to fit this cruise theme. Lynn got an over the door hanger, and is thinking of ways to reuse our Fish-extender on this cruise.

Croc questing is not hard, just go to Crocs Website, you can buy them there or they'll tell you who carries them locally.

Is your fish extender that oriented towards the last cruise? Only we'd know. :)

Oh if were only so easy, Lynn hates buying shoes she cannot try on. Spent some time this morning trying on the standard fits all sizes and she is between a M and a S. No one locally has the specific size ones. Even when I go into the local shops doing my best Steve Irwin (Croc Hunter) impersonation and wrestle those blighters allover the shoe store crykie, in a effort to get her out in as shortest time possible. :rotfl2: :teeth: So the quest continues. She is off tomorrow and will be on her own to the last shop. Sadly she has more knowledge about the product than the local sales folks, as a result of her Internet search. ;)

Our Fish Extender only has our last cruise room number on it, so we are thinking of adding the cruises as we go.

Scott - I understand how Lynn feels. I almost never buy a shoe without trying it on. Just couldn't find any place around here that had the crocs so I bit the bullet and bought mine off the site. I was very happy with the results.

That is so nice that you became a Croc Hunter for her! :) Hopefully she will be successful on her quest tomorrow.
