We were in 2571 last year and it is right near the new Ocean Quest! DD will have a great time going there...there is alittle traffic being at the middle of the hall, but not bad!

Hi! We are GTY and I haven't seen anything on the web site or gotten any documents yet. We just booked so I'm not expecting them quite yet but I hope soon. The web site still just says GTY. Have the GTY's that booked already gotten their assignments? Just wondering when they get it all figured out and if most GTY's were bumped up or not.

We were a GTY 12 until yesterday. We booked in February and apparently we were upgraded to a CAT 9!

We also booked a GTY 12. Just got our room today. I had been checking everyday. Got upgraded to a 10

You must be in the same county as we are!! I think we are the only ones around that get a fall break. What a great time to take the kids and they dont have to miss any school.

We have a fall break too! Isn't it great! It is such a good time to travel almost anywhere and most people are in school so most places are fairly quiet! We usually do Disneyland every year for our break - it is really the very best time to go!

We are getting excited! Four weeks from today we start our adventure by driving to a hotel near the airport. Woo hoo!

Good morning everyone!

Sheila - glad to hear everything is A OK. I thought of you this morning when a co-worker posted a ticket for sale for Dave Matthews. I guess he has concerts here throughout the weekend over Labor Day. I guess he doesn't have to stray too far from home, huh? At least I'm aware of who he is now.

I checked DCL website and no upgrade for us yet. Probably because I picked a room in Category 6. I can still hope, though, right?

Still in panic mode: getting ready for school (plus volunteering at school), DS started soccer (of course I signed him up in the wrong league and it took me a couple of days to straighten that out ), our 3 year old boat broke down (we have to completely repair the stern drive - whatever that is - all I know it = $$$$), and, oh yeah, I almost burnt our house down about a week ago trying to clean the fireplace out. Flames were shooting out almost to the ceiling. If it weren't for this cruise, I think I would go find a nice rock to climb under.

OK, deep breath, think about cruising , think about warm sunny beaches , and think about all the DIS friends I've made.

Where do you live? We live in Murfressboro. We are on year-round schedule and get the first two weeks of October off for fall break.

We are in AZ and also have what we call a "modified year round" calendar. We love,love,love it. We get over 2 weeks for fall, winter and spring breaks and then 2 months at summer.

Glad to see so many upgrades!

We are neighbors. We live in Smyrna. We are on the county schedule, so not year round.

Called costco today they still have not recieved or docs yet to send to us We were hoping to have them. Guess it will be a while before we see them.

Docs come about 20 days before the cruise...i posted that I didn't get mine till about 15 days before the cruise last year...don't worry!

Yeah they said they usually dont get them till around day 14 then they have to send them out.

We are at the point of hoping not to have to cancel at this point. MIL has terminal ca and has been getting worse over the last 2 weeks. Saw Dr today and has to have more test tuesday. They are thinking may have moved to her brain. They were suppose to go with us, but they canceled a few mths ago. Guess we have to wait till thursday to get the results. She is telling us we are going no matter what happens.

Hope to get docs soon, maybe that will make us feel better that it is getting closer.

Oh, Kim, I am so sorry you have to go through that. Let's hope you can enjoy your vacation. It sounds like you need it! Weren't you surprising your kids? Have they caught on yet?

David - how big are they? Wonder if the adult would fit around DD's wrist? Anyway, no big deal. let me know. Thanks for all your help in EVERYTHING!

Off to get DD to bed. Went to open house at school tonight and am very impressed with her teacher; however we got "chatty kathy" again in her class and the teacher will soon realize they need to be separated!
