Hi Kim, :yay: :sunny:

I'm awake, just a bit slow this morning. :rotfl: I'm flying out to a wedding for my nephew this weekend. Taking Southwest to Baltimore, MD. I'll also be back Sunday night, very late. :faint:

Nassau, a mini vacation? I'll be praying for really nice weather.

I'm right with you, lets all start chatting about our plans. Mine are, resting, eating and drinking. :drinking1

Gotta run and get to work now.

Take care all. :grouphug:

I am here!

I made 2 bucks yesterday...I sold 2 pictures of Stateroom #2571 from October and the website paid me! Think I will have to take more pictures this year!

I'M COMING UP SO YOU BETTER GET THIS PARTY STARTED!

We are getting so psyched planning for our trip. I have talked DD7 into the stingray excursion at Castaway Cay :Pinkbounc. She doesn't know how to swim yet, but LOVES the water and I figure this is a great chance for her since the water isn't too deep!

I think we have decided on the Coral World excursion at St. Thomas as well. Something more that she will like. I would love the St. John tour, but I know she would be bored. We may do Coral World by ourselves, as that is what everyone says to do. :teeth: I think we will be just wandering in St. Martin that day by ourselves. DD7 is going to do the hairbraiding as well, probably on Castaway Cay the last day. princess:

What about magnetic signs? Anyone? Since it is DD's birthday on Monday of the cruise, I would like to do a birthday magnetic. I also am giving her a Tinkerbell (her favorite) MP3 player on her birthday, and am doing the pillowcase autographing!

We are coming in a day early and staying at the Doubletree in Cocoa Beach. My ex-in-laws are picking us up and we will be spending the day/evening with them. They live down there and they haven't seen DD for about two years. They will be seeing us off at the port Saturday a.m.

Anyway, those are our plans so far. What about everyone else??? :woohoo:

Shelia -
DD had her hair braided on CC the last day too..it stayed nice for about 10 days after we came home..and you don't have to worry about her scalp sunburned during the cruise.

Hi All,

I'm with you Kim. We need to get this group stirred up!

:cheer2: :yay: :cheer2:

Gotta get lunch!

David

Hi all - I'm still here. I've been on jury duty this week without access to the computer and too busy at night to logon. :sad2: We got dismissed early from duty today, so I jumped on the computer once I got home! :surfweb:

I finally found the magnetic paper and am working on door signs - maybe one for our anniversary. :lovestruc I'm also making Mickey tie-dyed shirts - I'm going to do a trial run next week. Maybe they'll even turn out good enough to use! I got the idea and directions here on the DIS boards.

As for planning things, I'm kinda with Sheila, we'll probably just hang out and do things on our own. I know DH and DS want to rent jet skis, but that is the only feedback I've gotten so far. DH is not a planner and likes to be spontaneous. Of course, I'm the exact opposite and thank goodness I found all you people! :rotfl:

Other than that, like Didi, we'll be relaxing, drinking and eating - and I don't have to cook or prepare any of it!!!! :woohoo:

Do I need to add anyone to the Palo tea or for ordering DIS bands? Betsy, were you planning on making the tea reservations since you will be able to do it at 75 days out? :confused3

I am getting the tea together...but I can do it at 90 days!!!!

Anyone in a suite..they can do it 5 days!!!

Palo Tea Sunday, Oct. __ @ ____ p.m.
(limited to 14, but we may be able to squeeze in a few more)

Kim McBee - 2

PLEASE PM DISNEYMOM&FAN with your info for the front page...it is nice to have an idea of DIS friends on the same deck/area as you!!

I would LOVE to do tea but am not sure DD will like the clubs and I don't drink tea. Do they have other delicious drinks I could choose from besides tea? :confused3

TRUST ME!!!

DD will stay in the club...they LOVE it! I couldn't drag my DD out! Especially if My DD is there...they will be fine.
I think they have more than tea...but their Blackberry tea is the BEST! I just went and bought some tonight!

Hi All,

Betsy/Angela would you please add my sister Kathy to the Tea Party. That would be David's wife also known as sisteroo to me.

Gotta go,
DiDi

:bitelip: Betsy - I am going to pass on the tea for now. SORRY! I'm just not a tea drinker. HOWEVER, I would love to try PALO brunch one day, but am single and don't really want to go by myself! Anyone care for a third, fourth or fifth wheel to tag along? I don't want to interrupt any romance, but if there is a group going, I would love to go!

THANKS MUCH! :thumbsup2

Hi everyone,
I just put the final payment on the credit card! So, I guess we are good to go! I am enjoying the summer - especially not having to get the girls out the door to school in the mornings! I do miss not going anywhere this summer though. We have decided to stay put since we are taking the big cruise this fall!

I bought my girls their tropical dresses to wear to Parrot Cay last week!

Well, I hope you all have a great day!

I got my mom, DD and I the Disney Wakiki dress..they were on clearance from disneyshopping plus I found the nephews and got another 20% off!

Has anyone looked into excursions yet?? I was researching Coral world and Coki beach on St. Thomas. It looks really nice, and you can take a taxi there. it's about 25 minutes from the where the ship docks. The web site is www.coralworldvi.com. it looks very nice. If anyone is interested just thought i would try to get aome ideas going

At this point, we are undecided. I am leaning toward just doing some things on our own. I know for sure that when we are in St. Marteen, that I want to make it a early day so that my twins can get a nap in. I want them to be rested enough to make it trough all of Pirate Night.

I have a list of ideas for each stop - I just can't find it :confused3 :rotfl:
I think that I know for sure what we will do in St. Thomas. My DH wants to dive - we have not been on a dive for quite some time because he tore 3 discs in his back. He had surgery and thinks he is up to it again. I am not so sure so I am thinking we will compromise and try SNUBA at Coral world. They offer SNUBA and a trip through Coral world as a package. It would be on our own but then DH does not have to put on all the Scuba gear and risk hurting his back again. My kids can stay on the beach with the NANA and we can all go to CoralWorld after the dive.
Has anyone ever done SNUBA? IF it is not as good as diving, I may have to reconsider my choice but for now that is what I am opting for.

Shirley

Hi Shirley,

I'm interested in SNUBA too. Never got dive certified so I ended up snorkeling.

Has anoybody out there done SNUBA? Can you tell us what it's like?

We've got a tour on our own planned for St. Martin. That includes some photo ops & shopping. We'll end up getting dropped at the beach to finish up the day.

No plans yet for St. Thomas. Just looking at various beaches/resorts to spend a few hours. Any ideas?

Happy Fathers day to any of you other Dad's out there!!

David

Betsy - saw the Waikiki dress - DARLING! Wanted to get one for DD, but she is in a bigger size and they don't have any in her size! WAAAAHHHH! I may try the disney store here at the Mall of America. I saw a little boy with the Waikiki camp shirt and shorts and his little sister with the dress on yesterday at the beach. So Cute! We went today and bought a few things. I think she is set, but I am on a strict diet and don't want to buy anything until at least the beginning of September. Then I'll be SOL as all the summer clothes will be gone!!!!!!!!!!! :confused3
