Once I started thinking about it, I got nervous about our flight not getting in until noon on the 26th, so I changed it to fly out the night of the 25th & am looking at staying at a Disney value resort just for the night - really don't care where since we wont get in until 9pm & will leave in the morning for the ship. I'm just choosing Disney because of the ease of transportation. Looks like the All Star Movies is all that's available. Anyone staying there or stayed there before?

I know! I couldn't believe it was so easy either! It does say in our district handbook that students can have up to 15 (I think) unexcused absences a year. I was surprised by that.

DW got great news today as she went to DR.'s appt. and he said your clear to go on vaca! Come Oct, 2 years cancer free~! Got all her shots and is ready to go.

Sometimes I get so ANGRY and SAD that his Biological Mother chose DRUGS over her unborn children, but thats something I have to deal with in my own mind.:

I know what you mean, but at least you chose them and they are able to have a wonderful, happy, and solid life. Take comfort in knowing that...Hopefully, your travels are uneventful. See you in a couple weeks!

:Also on another note... mailman came today, went to get the mail saw what was there and NO DOC'S So what did I do I put the mail back in the box and walked away!

Yeah, I do the same thing when we get bills in the mailbox!

And cruise ?: What's the deal with deck chairs by the pools. Can you wake up early and go put towels down or is that a big no no??

I read some posts on this topic awhile back. It's shocking what some people will do! Some people will swoop up all of your stuff (towels, sunscreen, books, etc) and go sit it on top of a garbage can even! I asked what the heck would happen if you had to go to the bathroom or take a quick dip in the pool to cool off? Someone suggested making a little sign to lay on your chair saying "Had to go to the bathroom - back in 2 minutes" or "It's HOT! Taking a quick dip to cool off - back in 2 minutes". Considering how crazy some people are, I may just do that!

I think that was a smart move. I've never stayed at Movies before, but I have stayed at Sports and Music. They are basic hotel rooms. I'm not picky when it comes to hotels, as long as they are clean. I'm sure you'll be fine. The theming is great!

:Well I survived the wedding and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!! Everything was just about perfect. The only thing I know of that got messed up was the pre-recorded music during the candle lighting and when the family was being seated.....the CD played just fine during rehearsal but decided to mess up during the ceremony. Thank goodness our sound man quickly thought to just keep hitting repeat...it was obvious that something was wrong but we all continued on and it turned out great.

My niece from Florida caught the bouquet....kinda planned it that way ....and then during all the craziness of cleaning up my mom ended up accidently giving her Leissa's bouquet thinking it was the one she had caught and now it is in Florida!! Thank goodness we will be seeing them on Sept 25 and will get it back. So now Leissa will be wearing her Bride Mickey Ears and also have her bouquet on the cruise! She will not be hard to miss!!!

Sounds like you guys had a great day, indeed. We'll keep an eye out for the bouquet.

Smart move if you ask me. Will safe you about 1 year worth of worrying. Never stayed at ASMo before, but on the other hand; it's only for one night. How bad can it be, right?

Anybody who can help me out? Just received my cruise documents, but want to know a couple of things. Sent TA a mail of course, but who wants to wait if somebody happens to be on here and also knows it?

- When travelparty consist of people living on seperate addresses, do they both get a package of documents? (DCL sent them straight to me, but no mention of girlfriend being on there)

- In Your Travel Booklet, they mention the fare, taxes and total fare. Can anybody tell me if that fare is correct? I mean, on my papers they mention a total fare of about $900,- less. And yes, that is even less than what I would pay when cruising solo, so it can't be that they deleted Lieske. Never heard TA about price dropping, never seen any online, so this is weird? (ps; booked before fuel surcharge was added, so that's not it either!)

The people running the excursion have messed up my reservation. They claim that I booked the wrong date. I showed them proof in the form of a confirmation email from them that I did indeed book the correct date; but they refuse to accept this proof. The did correct the problem but said that we cannot go with the 9am group now and must go at 11:40am or cancel. So...

Has this happened to anyone else?

We are thinking about cancelling but if there are a bunch of you in the second group we may stay. Let me know asap. Thanks guys!

At our school I believe they get paid on attendance, so fewer kids = less money from the state. You're lucky!!!

That's insane!! And ridiculous. I'll give someone a piece of my mind if I go play in the pool or eat lunch and my stuff isn't there when I get back. So you are supposed to find new chairs every single time. Might have to go check out that thread.

Last day of the holiday weekend. I plan on chilling out literally...it's only freaking 71 degrees here. I hate this summer here. I can't wait to be scorching hot on this cruise. I hope it's 90!! Well, at least 85. We only saw 85 like twice this entire summer.

I have one carry on officially packed!! I got Paige's dress up costumes and formal wear along with all of my night time wear and some bathing suits all packed. I pulled out some other stuff today that will be packed, but I need to wait until my packing cubes arrive. At least with the cool weather, no need to forego packing. All the summer stuff can be put away.

She did get them, so she IS on the booking. Don't know if the rest of the amount is on hers, but she's sick so no more bothering her today. TA is on it, as she also thinks the fare mentioned isn't right. So she's trying to find out what is going on. I did find out that the taxes mentioned are only for 1 person, so I'm starting to think they did split up the fare in a weird way.

Something is going on for sure, our confirmation (one that automatically updates they sent to the TA, got a copy of it) is also acting up fare wise. Somehow the basic fare got higher, and that's before the amount added for transportation. Still states us as paid in full so no worries about that. But weird; for sure!

Congrats on starting to pack! Does come closer that way, doesn't it? I started on my first suitcase. Decided I was sick and tired of all the medical stuff piling up and being in the way. And as long as I was busy, of well the FE stuff could get in there also. Before I knew it; one suitcase full with only medical and FE stuff. Wow.

No cruise doc's here yet? I will be home in few hours, maybe then? I did make a trip to PO this weekend to stop our mail that week when we are both gone.

Ana, you will LOVE the packing cubes. I've packed my DD and I into two large cubes for our weekend trip to grandma's. They are the best thing in the world. I am now trying to fit both of us into a large duffel bag.

Pam, I am glad everything went smooth on Sat. I will be def looking for those Wedding Ears!

Becca, glad you've got in touch with Pappa Bear! I still have to contact him! Otherwise we will be on a DCL tour for Coral World.

My cruise accomplishments so far:

• I've printed our cruise doc's/signed
• Made copies of passports
• Big bulky stuff packed already incl toiletries/meds.
• Mom is bringing over the door shoe holder/ext cord
• I have bought small digital clock, travel dish/laundry detergent and bottle brush for babes
• Bought rum runner flasks for my margarita mix
• Our tailor made us custom made dresses for boarding, yay. Very cute!
• Bought GC for our favorite restaurants while staying in Kissimmee
• Got small change for island spending, palo tip, and wrist bands $$
• Small FE gifts for my DD
  
  Overall, I am very excited. Can't wait to cruise again and meet all of you.
  Shortly after we board we will be counting back 10,9,8 and the official cruise begins.

Pam, They emailed bigferrell yesterday regarding the whole fiasco. One of the main reasons for being so excited was to have a group of Dis friends to do it with. It is a surprise for our dd(14) birthday--her birthday is that day--and sftnslky's daughters were going as well at 8:40 so that would have been so much more fun for our daughter!

Pam, They emailed bigferrell yesterday regarding the whole fiasco. One of the main reasons for being so excited was to have a group of Dis friends to do it with. It is a surprise for our dd(14) birthday--her birthday is that day--and sftnslky's daughters were going as well at 8:40 so that would have been so much more fun for our daughter!

Have stayed there before a couple times. and am staying at ASMu after cruise. It is a nice resort with nice theming and 3 story high movie icons. I've personally never stayed and where but Spoted pup section but that is just fine with me as thats one of my fav movies. The food court is nice but can get crowed at peak meal times, the pizza isn't bad either.

I've been sick for 4 months & finally found out that I have a massive sinus thing going on & need surgery. Sucks because the soonest he can do it is 9/17, so I'm cutting it close to vacation, but I'm really hoping that this will solve my problems so I'll feel good again - just in time for Mickey's boat!!!
