New stateroom assignment.

They moved us to a new location yesterday. We are now in cabin 5505.

Hello Everyone!

We just finally got our cabin numbers too. We are in 5624, and across the hall in 5627. We are interested to see how we like deck 5. I wonder if it is nice to have fewer cabins around, or if we'll feel a little isolated (?). Either way, we are just excited to be on this cruise! BTW, we have not signed up for FE because this was kind of a last minute trip. I wasn't sure if I could prepare in time, and didn't want to throw people who have been planning way in advance. We would be happy to be a part of the cabin tours though, IF anyone would want to see these cabins. They are just a family stateroom with veranda and an inside stateroom across the hall. Also, is it too late for us to join in on the PJ breakfast?

I got you updated on the page 9 roster. We have a sideways cat 11 cabin on the tour but do not have a cat 6. if you would like to open up your rooms for the tour just let me know for sure.

The cabins we have are as follows:

5509 - Cat 11 sideways
5627 - Cat 11
5510 - Cat 8
7624 - Cat 7
5624 - Cat 6
7582 - Cat 5
7636 - Cat 5 with large balcony
8538 - Cat 4
8530 - Cat 1 Roy Suite

We could still use a Cat 12, 10, 9, 3, 2 ..... If I missed someone that wanted to show their cabin, please let me know.

How many will be attending the PJ Breakfast? I believe Juli (Fire14) is still keeping up with that. I just need a final count by Sept. 24. I will try to get in touch with everyone while on the cruise as to what time we need to be at the breakfast. (unless DCL decides to answer my emails!!)

First a little housekeeping:

• We could still use a Cat 12, 10, 9, 3, 2 on our cabin tour
• Goofieslonglostsis started a list of where we are staying on 9/25, PM her with your info
• If you are going to the PJ Breakfast please make sure you are on the list. And no, you don't have to tell what you are wearing ahead of time.
• I am looking for a photo of the main seating area at the terminal

Now on with the show:

• We sent hugs to Hal001's family, but are glad she is back in the fold
• We welcomed ddz0247, grumpy73 and Burjarski3
• Fire14 is looking for Royale candy bars
• There is an APB for gradysmommy on eBay, several FE's hang in the balance
• Gold Jewelry was sold for alot of $$$ by kpadalik
• AngolaHeartsDisney is our resident baker. Could we be getting Cupcakes in our FE's?
• Six Flags: More Flags, More fun. But only if you don't compare them to WDW
• Lots if kids are going to school on Friday September 25th but only until attendance is taken then they are going to talk to a mouse about a boat.
• FatCat ran out of beer and then wasn't heard from for almost a full 24 hours
• Sftnslky might have made too many FE gifts, either that our she will be sailing with the Picaroon Pirates for her next 6 cruises
• Door magnets were discussed
• Bigferrell wandered out to the main cruise board and was concerned about his SIL plans for decorating their stateroom door. It was decided that the Pink Flamingos would be moved to FatCat's abode
• DisneySweetie is trying to get her cruising pal to come play with us on the boat
• In the small world category ch10dad and DisneySweetie figured out that they have sailed together before
• FatCat has his Tequila Tasting outfit all picked out
• St Thomas excursions: Duck Boat is a no go and it is easy to take a cab to Maagens Bay, rather that spend the money on a Disney excursion
• Ivet reminded us how close she is to WDW by going to MGM (I will never call it Hollywood Studios) one weekend and back to stay at CS the next
• GTY assignments are starting to appear and the Upgrade Fairy showed up with a big bag of Cat 4's for some of those with Gty 6's
• Mrs FatCat seemed genuinely surprised that DCL let them book another cruise
• Intlmanofmystry came, mumbled something about non-scented putty and Beer Scuba (luckily, not in the same post)then left again.
• Peeps on stripper poles, kinda surprised we didn't get shut down
• After some soul searching that kpadalik family is staying at the Dolphin instead of the Nick Hotel pre-cruise
• Nutzaboutdisney started making FE gifts with her girls crafting group
• The Wedding is in 11 days
• We discovered that bobbie0253 is deserting Royal for DCL. However the turning point was not, the naked man they saw showering on deck. Go figure
• The age old debate: Does everything look better in bacon and deep fried OR chocolate?
• And last but not least, the cruise must be getting close.....we have had out first, 'anyone get their docs' post

Nothing here yet, but I can tell you I've got an almost neurotic eye out for that USPS dude! (which means every morning almost bouncing out of my chair, "whoohoo he's here", only to find out he's yet again only going to one of the shops that gets supplied in the street I'm living in )

Whoever asked about docs - we havne't gotten them yet. Hopefully soon!!

My packing list is getting extremely long and I now know why we are driving for the first time ever. Bailey is only 16lbs (yes at 2 1/2 months he's the same size as most 4-5 month olds) but he takes a lot of stuff!!!

Once again, FABULOUS weekly update! Also, I may have a pic of the seating area in the terminal. I'm at work right now, but I can look tomorrow through my pics from our 06 cruise and let you know.

How did you make your ressies at the Nick Hotel? The reason I ask is because I have a coupon for a free pizza party but you couldn't have made the ressie through a TA or a travel website (travelocity, etc.). You had to make them directly with the hotel. There are a few other rules, too.

We booked a few months back. I think I booked with Travelocity and got the two bedroom suite for $79 a night. Was a great price so I jumped on it. Hope this helps.
