Sept. 26, 2009 Magic

If I missed any thing that I should really be paying alot of attention to. You see this is the first time I have been on my computer since a few hours after I sent my last post to you all. Kaleb had been complaining about a stomach  ache since over the weekend. I kept giving him Pepot Bismol and some tummy medicine to make him use the rest room. Well on Monday morning he was :sad1: crying in pain and just not looking good..so I called his Dr. and she told me to bring him in.... 5 hours later we were heading to the hospital to get a second opinion from a pediatric surgeon. At 11:30 PM Kaleb was heading into appendectomy surgery..his appendix was close to bursting. I am hoping that we will get to go home tomorrow. It has been a VERY long week.. with Earl having to still work, having Jennah watch the other two kids so I can stay at the hospital 24/7 My last phone call from Earl he said "Oh babe by the way..when you come home..just don't look at the house" :scared1: UUUUUUUGGGGGGGG pirate:pirate:are you friggen kidding me? So basically when I left we were all on page 139 I think? So just fill me in if you could :thumbsup2

Totally missed this posting somehow. :headache:

Hopefully Kaleb recovers asap, allthough kids luckely tend to do. Good luck with all of the juggling you're doing right now!

Good morning, Sunshine!! :flower3:

Question 50, huh? Guess I'd better head to Facebook!!

Goodmorning to you to! :) Be warned, the list is almost work.

Rebecca, please keep us posted about your son. Thank goodness this did not happen on the cruise. Poor little guy!

CLB- Welcome!!

Crystal- We actually make Tonga Toast every Thanksgiving morning (WDW gave us the receipe when we ate there) and that looks to be the correct receipe. It is VERY sugary, not my favorite breakfast, but a tradition in our household!

Yum...konk kooler. I did not have that on the last cruise. Our go to drink was the BBC...yum!

Sorry to hear about Kaleb. How's he doing? And how are you holding up???

Look what I found for your DH

YUMMMY!!!!

The highlights for the last few pages are (in no particular order):
  • FatCat is organizing a Flip Flop swap so that we each end up with a pair that has a bottle opener embedded in one shoe and a flask in the other.
  • We recalled that Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off
  • Fire14 announced Final Call for PJ B-fast (I didn't see your name on the list)
  • Laundry Room now takes KTTW Cards
  • We are considering removing the date from the wristbands and replacing it with our former tag line (see page 10) "Capturing the Caribbean"
  • Decoder rings were ordered and then said orders were canceled
  • DVC, Strollers and WDW dining plans were discussed
  • No One has been contacted my DCL re: inexpensive paid upgrades

Oh yeah and as of tomorrow we will only have 50 days until our cruise :cool1:

Perfect, we need an update weekly now! :cool1:

YUM AGAIN! ;)
Hello Everyone! I am new to this board, and wanted to say hello! Our family just booked this cruise last week. We are Clint, Codi, Amalie (12), Analiese (10) and Johnny (7). It looks like we are going to sail with a great group!

Welcome to the club, CLB!pirate:

. I'll convince DH (who is the "chef" in our house) to try the recipe and I'll post a full report. And, thank you for running this down!! :goodvibes

Now, THIS, I think I can manage. It must mean that I drink too much because I am a superstar at mixing drinks. :lmao:

Okay, Crystal, let's see: DH is a crafter, scrapbooker, chef.... WOOHOO, winner, winner, winner!

But I'm with you, the drinks I can handle making...maybe:laughing:

He also cleans and does laundry, but *now* I'm bragging. I think about the only negative I can say is that he doesn't have his own DIS account. All kidding aside, I know I'm a lucky girl - - I can't wait for you guys to meet him! :woohoo:

AND, the key to being a good drinkmaker is to just make a stellar (and strong) first one...after the first one, they ALLLLLL taste good. :dance3:

What an awesome tradition!! I actually think that I would have liked the Tonga Toast either without the bananas or with bananas that are still "green." I'm not a fan of overripe bananas, and that's all I could taste when we tried Tonga Toast in 2007. Still, with the recipe, since I can kind of tailor it to suit my preference, I *might* be able to become a Tonga Toast lover afterall. :yay:

lol, Crystal,

I would be afraid to make any drinks after the first one as who knows how those kind of drinks would turn out! :rotfl2: My dh always says he enjoys taking me out because I'm a "cheap date". Hmmmm, not so nice now that I think about it! :lmao:

My TA told me she has gotten a few calls for upgrades mostly for the cruise a week before ours. So hopefully we are in line.

I would have to go from 9 to 6. I do not thin I would pay for 9 to 8. Same room just a few decks higher.

Okay, so I checked out the "other site" for the navigators for our cruise and got the skinny. Here's my question. Is lobster night on Captain's Gala night? I think that is right. I know on our last cruise it was Friday night - but don't remember if it was also Captains Gala night???? :confused3

Go ahead and spring for the $ to Cat 6 - use yur poker winnings from last night - that will make it easier for me to carry you back to your room after Tequila tasting event (U only get the lift service with your clothes on though - if yur naked - yur crawling back - thank goodness I didn't find a "smile" in the list for that visual) :moped:

Praying everything is going ok.

Hello, eh! Looking forward to having a Two-Four (or a pop with those inclined to trend more toward non-alcoholic BEvERages) with each of you.

For those of you who have commented that you “cannot wait until you meet Fatcat” or something similar. . . if you enjoy having your productivity fall to near commatose levels (actually lower on hot, sunny days); cherish those lazy days when at the end of the day you wonder how it felt as if you were so busy but realized that you accomplished absolutely nothing; or genuinely take pleasure in spending all your money on every gadget, new fad, or utterly useless things; or just like a good beer buddy – you going to love him.
:cool2::goodvibes:lmao:
