Sept. 26, 2009 Magic

I was not called in, yeah. Baby had a great time at the Wine Bar (friends new adventure). She walked around, danced, ate and then she crashed in a car while watching Disney on Ice. Still asleep.

My formal dress was being altered and it is done. Over the years and having a baby it became too small in the bust area. Otherwise I always shop for a new formal dress. My closet is full of dresses, any color or style. Any of the ladies planning to get an updo? Which night is formal night? I would assume Sunday? Anyone knows?

Also, I am not sure if you have to hand out FE gift each night or 1 gift per person for the entire cruise? Thanks!

Thanks for listing everyone by deck!!:worship:

that will make everything so much easier!!

Absolutley!! Thanks soooo much Amanda!!! :cool1:

I also have counted 73 Adults, 28 princess's, 4 little princess's under 2 (for smaller gifts), and 13 prince's (poor things always outnumbered aren't they)

Sonia

Everyone is asleep in my house and I'm wide awake. If it would make sense to anyone other than my fellow DISers, my facebook status would read:

...is organizing my FE list by rooms and further more into age groups for one of my age specific gifts since I can't do anything else but think about the Magic!!

:yay:

Yep right there with ya :woohoo:

Sonia

Just so everybody knows Jodi will have own FE. Our first names are on them so you can tell who's is who's. For cabin gifts the three of us will just duke it out.

I have 30 big girls, 4 little girls, and 17 boys. Hmm.

I bet your RIGHT!!! I went back to page 50 to recount the blues and pinks and then added our 3month old ( :woohoo: ) so I must have missed 2g's and
2b's and their adults. Thanks again,

Sonia

Well I have been on the East Coast this weekend eating as much NY style pizza as I possibly can.

My formal tips.

1. The room service dry cleaning is affordable. However what I do is just get my stuff pressed. It is half the dry cleaning price.
I love how busy the laundry room is on formal night people fighting over one iron.

2. I bring one black suit.
Formal night I wear my tux shirt

Semi Formal night I wear my Black suit with a dress shirt

Pirate nite i rip the sleeves of the suit and make a proper pirates vest

All you need to know is where FatCat's cabin is.

Right next to yours!!!!!

Actually Thursday is Mr. & Mrs. FatCat's 10 year anniversary.

So please excuse the 2 minutes and 34 seconds of Goofy  :banana::banana::banana: noises.

Now that's an expensive Pirate Night! After one cruise, all will be addicted but now have to buy a new suit for formal night. Or do you glue them back on after Pirate Night? :upsidedow

On Oct 4th is Mr. & Mrs. Fires Grumpy anniversary :banana::banana: So maybe on that Thursday if you tell me what time your Goofy noises will begin. We can do this that the same time and in different cabins and it can be in harmony . That just might get us all thrown over board by the captain

LOL! To both couples, have "lots" of fun on your anniversary night.

Can anyone please answer me how the FE's work, do I give them each night or 1 gift per week? Not sure. Thanks!

You can do either way. It's totally up to you. Because of luggage space, I will probably just do 2 different gifts during the week.....I'm not sure yet. I really need to start planning them......

Thanks for all formal wear responses, looks like we will be looking pretty good. Keep them coming. A lot of cruisers lately like to skip that fancy part of cruise, I love to dress up. I just have to NOT bring as much clothes/shoes as on our previous RCCL trip.

Also to add looking forward to Escargot, not sure of spelling.

Paul2003, I work in Mayfield Hts.

Cool:cool1: Maybe we'll be on the same flight. We're on Continental flight #1003, leaving Cleveland at 9:00am Sat. 26th.:yay:

Sorry, we leave on same flight but on Monday, Sept 21st instead? I should be at the MCO airport on the 26th returning car rental around 11am. We need FL weather because ours had been pretty lousy, agree?

TMI TMI TMI!!! :woohoo:

So for the cabins that are TBD...are these participants that haven't checked the boards in a while or some people don't have their cabins assigned to them before the cruise?

FE gifts. WOOHOOOOOOOOOO. Just found my last one and will be boxing them up to ship to my mother in law in florida along with our pirate costumes. I think shipping all this stuff is going to be much easier than the stupid checked back fees I would have otherwise incurred. But we already know how I feel about that.

First really nice weekend of the summer season and my little one has the stomach flu. Poor thing but GRRRR. Murphy's Law... :confused3

Who wants to help me throw fires_grumpy overboard? LOL LOL
