Thanks to all for their replies in re FE gifts. I am thinking of something that all will need during cruise. Still researching...

I will be in a need of Vista Spa too after 1 week of in WDW.

You can do either way. It's totally up to you. Because of luggage space, I will probably just do 2 different gifts during the week.....I'm not sure yet. I really need to start planning them......

Sorry, we leave on same flight but on Monday, Sept 21st instead? I should be at the MCO airport on the 26th returning car rental around 11am. We need FL weather because ours had been pretty lousy, agree?

Boy your not kidding, here it is the middle of July and I needed a jacket this morning.

In Regards to Pirate Night, should we "reserve" section for us? Anyone doing an pirate FE's? I was thinking of that night being my FE theme, especially for fireworks? Please let me know!

Fat cat we will really need to get together as we have the same anniv. date and years! Hell after both of our 2:34 seconds we can all go to the bar and tie one on and realize what happened!
this board sure is getting busy the closer we get. Still have to get fish extender gifts and thank you for getting that list together. Think I'm going to get some postcards to add to FE's so my boys can stay in contact with thier new friends.

So let's get back to wristbands and lanyards. It seems like we are def doing wristbands. Do we get lanyards from Disney? Or are we are on own? Why do we need a lanyard? Holding room keys? I've never used one on a cruise, so wondering if this is something we need. I guess we could be on our own for these if necessary. But I thought someone mentioned once that you might get them when you board? But maybe it's just if you are a frequent cruiser or something.

Hopefully, our Facebook page will help a little bit with that since most of us have our profile pictures posted. Other than that, I think that once we get to the sailaway party, we will really start putting names with faces, and the wristbands will help at least identifying us as part of this AWESOME group too.

We are pin collectors, so DH uses his lanyard mostly to sport around our cool pins (and, since those pins weigh about 50 pounds, I can't wear the thing for very long). Our lanyard also has a pocket at the end to hold our room keys. However, I don't suppose lanyards are quite as helpful on a cruise as when you're in the parks, but they are nice to have in that they are a central location to put the important stuff.

And, yes, believe me, you can get every kind of character lanyard at Disney that you could ever want (some also come with a pin starter set). Another option is to purchase one on Ebay, but when you add in the shipping costs, buying at Disney may be a cheaper route.

Repeat cruisers will receive a lanyard from DCL but we were going to get one specially made for our group. I use mine to hold my room key and photo ID when I leave the ship. Makes it much easier when it is in one easy to get to spot instead of fumbling thru bags to find it.

I use the one I bought on our first cruise to hold my KTTW and Photo id. I paid I believe 6.00 for it. I like it better than my Castaway club one for some reason.

Hey everyone!!! I can finally start planning on wdw and cruise trip since I had our baby boy. He came on June 14th at 1108pm by c-section because he was 9lb 12oz (he's now 13lb 5oz at his one month appt). Now I'm only 5'1 and there was no way this big boy was coming out any other way. We love him to death and I can't wait to take him on his first Disney cruise. Now I have to lose the baby weight so I can go buy some clothes for this cruise. Bailey is set through. Janie and Jack a baby clothing store has a whole new line of pirate and ship outfits. I swear I almost brought it all just for the cruise.

Looks like I've missed all the deadlines but hopefully we'll find yall at the dismeet at the Sailaway party. Of course we'll be on Bailey time. This will be a cruise like no other that dh and I have been on. We really have no clue what to expect having a little one with us.

Is anyone meeting up before the cruise at WDW? We'll be getting there on the 23rd. It seems like that week is pretty busy at WDW. We've tried for several different ADRs and some we didn't get at all.

And I thought I saw something about Facebook. Did yall set up a group on facebook? Just wondering. I love facebook and its so easy to check on my iphone.

Daisy; congrats with the new baby boy! Don't go overboard with shopping for the cruise. Remember, it's enough to change outfits only 5 times a day. So no need for more than 35 outfits.

There is talk about a meet at WDW beforehands, but nothing much arranged yet except somebody (forgot, shame on me ) trying to see if they can meet up with Crystal+fam for breakfast on the 26th.

Which ADR's weren't you able to get? No problems what so ever for us, but then again I don't know how much trouble IPO had to go through to get us ours.

Yes we have a group on facebook. If you wish to join FE you can but may not get all the gifts as deadline has passed but we've had cruisers change plans. as for pj brfst prob. could be added but with lil one 7a est maybe bit early.
