Sept. 26, 2009 Magic

Let me talk to DH and see what he thinks about it!

WOO-HOO - that would be super fun if it worked out!! We actually let Ansley decide between Chef Mickey's (since we are at BLT anyway) and Kona for breakfast and she said that since her daddy loves Tonga Toast so much that she wanted to go to Kona (isn't that adorable?). I personally think that DH was doing some serious brainwashing before our ADR window opened up.

For how many hours to come do we have to entertain you? ;):rotfl2:

I've never tasted Tonga Toast, but from what I've read about it being? I think I'm in your corner on this one.

Actually, I think I'm in the clear for another hour or so - YIPEE!!

And, as to Tonga Toast, it just tastes like overripe bananas. If I could get it without the bananas, I would be lovin' it seriously!! But, alas, no dice!!

Maybe we will have to stay an extra night, you know for Tonga Toast. And then if we are already there, what's a hop, skip and jump over to a park for a Dole Whip!!

That's logic that I can definitely get behind - LOL. Of course, I *believe* that Captain Cook's at the Poly serves Dole Whips too...

OK, we're killing the server, server went out. We must shut up a bit more. :lmao::laughing:

Which night are you going to be there? If I'm not in a park or anything, I could make a quick pop down and/or have you make a trip up. Sounds like son would love a taste of a savannah view from a balcony.

We'll be at BOMA on Tuesday night. Ressies aren't until 7:35pm. If you will be around, that would be awesome!!!:thumbsup2

We stayed at AKL several years ago, but I believe Luke was less than two years old as he was our "bonus freebie" in the crib! :lmao: We LOVED the Savannah View Room then, and the girls really enjoyed it! Luke would probably not sleep much if we stayed there this time around! :lmao: And to heck with the parks, he would have "his kind of park" in his own backyard! :rotfl2:

As to the server, well give it a swift kick in the butt -- keep on keeping up with us! :lmao:

That's what you get with Daddies girls. ;) Next time; use the Princesses in your advantage, that might be an interesting situation. :rotfl:

An hour is doable. ;)

Yuk! Overripe bananas? Yuk, yuk and yuk.

I'm thinking a pre-Disney Cruise party with music, frozen drinks, and FE gifts to be made??? :lmao: Wonder who I could sucker into that -- especially my friends who went on the last cruise with me but are NOT going on this cruise? I think not:rotfl:

Sounds a little like Tom Sawyer gettin' his friends to white wash the fence. Not that's there is anything wrong with that!!! :rotfl2:

Grin, ehm, what timing. We'll be trick or treating that night at MNSSHP, and at Boma the night after ourselves.

I can understand what you are saying! Lieske and I are also very very excited about staying in a room with savannah view. Both of us will have our own room, so hopefully they'll be close yet with different views to enjoy it even more.

As to the server, well give it a swift kick in the butt -- keep on keeping up with us! :lmao:

And if not, we'll simply have to find other means. ;)

What a sweet, sweet girl! :cutie: I agree with goofiesis, next time pull out the big guns! LOL

I have also had the Tonga Toast two ways -- the first time I ordered it, it was AMAZING!!! Not overripe bananas at all!!! Then we ordered it with room service on another vacation and it was super greasy and overripe. I just figured I got a bad batch the second time. :confused3 Have you tried it more than once with the same result?? Because if my first batch was a fluke, I might not try it again????

:rotfl2:Ummm, really??? :confused3 Is it that bad???? :lmao: Great analogy!

Awesome!!!! Make sure you've got a big bag for your "loot"! On your way out of the park, as if you don't have enough already, they have the huge laundry bins FILLED with Hershey's kissables, and they filled up our kids bags with them. ;) You don't need FE gifts at all!! You'll get plenty to share on that night alone! :lmao:

You'll have double the verandah room! :thumbsup2 What a way to wake up in the morning and step out onto your balcony! There's nothing better!

Grin, you definately do not know me yet. One can never have enough candy, especially chocolate! :thumbsup2 And a big bag? Check! Thankfully, I'm taking along my powerchair, so I can take a serious load of 'loot' along. After all, I don't even need to carry it or drag it along. Maybe I should turn my manual chair into a big candy holding cart, tie it behind the powerchair and say it's my comstume. I'm a parade float.:rotfl2:

My thoughts exactly! Combine that with the luxury of the CL lounge to go and grab a quick breakfast instead of a busy food court and I'm pretty close to my idea of heavenly trips. :cloud9:

You got it going on with the parade float idea!!! :thumbsup2 Not only would it be original, but it could serve it's purpose well! :rotfl2: And if you work really hard at it, you can sneak me in, too!!! :lmao:

Concierge is a special treat!!! Enjoy it! It's nice to be able to stop in for a cold beverage, or breakfast, as you say. And the appetizers in the eveing are a real treat! I believe they come from BOMA I've read before? Also, grab some waters or soda and fruit to take back to your room fridge. You can have them there for a late night craving or early morning snack!:thumbsup2

You think you'ld fit into my chair without anyone finding out? You're welcome if you do, but I doubt any child over the age of 6 to be able to do that. :sad2:

Grin, you are thinking like I do. :goodvibes If I read correctly, the food is from Boma and Jiko. I mean; that MUST be good! :thumbsup2 It'll be a great treat during our needed breaks.

Well, sounds like we're up for linking up dining reservations. Lieske would rather dine with some of you known crazy lot, than unknown crazy folks. ;) So I sent a quick mail asking her preferences (allthough I can predict them, I'm very doubtfull that there will be a dozen single good looking guys at our table :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: ) to see if we can make things work. So if anybody wants to keep their toes in one piece and not black and blue; start running! No telling what we'll do to the toes of our tablemates.:rolleyes:

Hi Ladies,

Being worked like a dog today, it's Friday and all the patients need to be done before weekend. Great!

Seems like many of you will be coming to WDW a week early. We are coming too, landing Monday, Sept 21st. We opted to stay off site to have more space, fully equiped kitchen and a pool. We won't be dinning on-site.

So, who is interested in linking dinning ressies? We have 2 adults and 2 yr old. Anyone with a child close to her age? I know there is a DD(3) out there?

Jaqueline, you might be faster then us with that power chair, LOL. To me it is nice to sit with people that you already know instead of sitting next to people who do not talk at all. I am not a fan of trying to pull words out of someone.

I am on-call tonight, so no adult beverages for me.

Is anyone interested in doing a DIS meet at WDW before the cruise???? It appears that a few of us are going, crystal, goofiesis, us... We are not doing MNSSHP this year as we did it two years ago on Halloween. But we will be checking in on Monday, Sept 21, and enjoying the week there. (We'll worry about the kids getting kicked out of school when we return! :lmao:) If you are interested in meeting up we can chat about it and figure out a good time/place to do so!!! I think that would be a blast!!!

Enjoy your weekend! I can't believe it's here already!:cool1:

If we can squeeze it into our tight schedule i'd be open to WDW dismeet. we get in sept 23.

LOL - I'm still on the fence about adult beverages tonight... We are having our friends over for a cookout (which we do almost every weekend) and we usually end up playing Rockband...or, better yet, DRUNK Rockband. However, I still have to get through another 4 hours of work before I can even think about the weekend...what a slllooowwww day!

My day has been very busy for a change, as I said in my prior post it is a Friday. "Happy" rockband sounds like fun, please post some pictures of those fun times.

My friends, who own a family italian restaurant have grand openning of their new wine bar, so we are going, only wash for me tonight.:confused3 I am not a big drinker but I will have a beverage occasionally. Thank Godness I am not pregnant-yet.

All pre-cruise WDW visitors, do you guys plan going to Wishes fireworks on Thursday night? Maybe we can all meet then. I will have a car.. Otherwise, we will be in parks every day, maybe have a day off in bw or Friday so we can pack/do laundry if needed.

.

Hang in there!!! The weekend will roll around soon enough! :) It has suddenly started to storm here, and I am being bombarded with questions regarding weather from my very alarmed ds. Hopefully it subsides, soon!!!!

Thursday night wishes is a good idea, although we'd have to find a good spot for all of us to meet up without getting lost in the crowd??? Is anyone else up for this???:confused3

OOPS! Thursday is NOT going to work for us! DH and I are celebrating our 15 year anniversary that night at Narcoosee's for dinner. Boys will be at Neverland at the Poly, and girls will be hanging out with my dsis.

We've never eaten there, typically do California Grill, so looking forward to the change and actually celebrating ON our anniversary at WDW!!!!

How about beach at Poly, no crowds or traffic. Perfect view. Where are the Wishes fireworks being held, Epcot or magic, not sure?
