Yay! Glad to hear that you got your ressie you wanted. I would just wait until you get on the ship and add your DBIL then. I think that is the time DH and I will be at brunch, so we will see you there!:yay:

Just checking in. :grouphug: We had a great time at the Bridal Shower yesterday and after party we went to post office for Anika's passport. :cheer2: Yeah! Congrats to all getting their reservations for brunch! I still have to wait until tomorrow, yikes.

Crystal, I am glad you had a great pampering day. Symbol picked out per my little nephew Luka, sitting next to me.

Goofie, not sure of your real name yet? Glad that you were able to snatch that aft suite, you need as much space as possible. We loved our aft JR suite on Freedom, fabulous. Baby currently not happy, have to go!

I too will be up burning the midnight oil. I finally get to book some stuff tonight.

Bummed that everything has a price in CC and not cheap. Was thinking that some of the stuff would be included. Oh well. It's vacation right.

The 75 day mark should be tonight at midnight EST, right?

I just checked & there is High Tea available Monday at 3pm. I got a ressie for that, & there are still openings. I'm just concerned that if that is available maybe I missed the 75 day opening window last night.......

And no hangover? Go girl! :)

You don't even want to know how excited I was after seeing pics of it. I need it and would've never booked it otherwise, but BABY! Is that a nice perk that comes along with the package! :thumbsup2 Also enough room on the balcony for our 'romantic breakfast' not to get too romantic. Lieske can sit at one end of it, and I on the other hand. No way that'll become romantic. :lmao:

Real name is Jacqueline, by the way.

Congrats on getting it! Lots of us are going that day, so it looks like it'll be a DIS High Tea. :thumbsup2

What were you expected to be included?

Crystal; how was the party? Are you awake yet, anyway? Just in case; Get to your reservation online, high tea has opened up, in case you missed those postings. Go on, get yourself a ressie so we can all drag you along with us. :goodvibes:thumbsup2

Just didn't realize there would be extras for all the rentals (boats, bikes, trikes, etc). I guess it should be expected. Just figured since it's Disney's island, that stuff might have been included. And the prices of their stuff is really high (doubles jet ski) and parasailing...compared to Cozumel. We did the Maya Beach Adventure in Cozumel this past January, and everything was cheaper by $20.00. May not seem like a lot, but it was just surprising to me.

Haileyboo: Tonight is the night. Hope you get what you want.

True, the prices are typical Disney prices. (read; higher upto a lot higher) I was prepared for them charging for that kind of stuff, reckoned it would be THE way to make an extra buck. But then again, I'm used to nickle and diming strategies. ;)

Good luck to all of those trying to get their ressies tonight!

Actually only the "play" stuff is an extra charge. Beach chairs, umbrellas, hamocks, BBQ LUNCH, sodas, ice cream, and family/kids beach are all FREE :dance3:. Remember you can bring your own snorkle equipement,, or sand toys and use them for free as well. We bought sand pails/shovels/sifter etc at the dollar store and then left them in the cabin with a nice note so the next family could enjoy them...and it only cost you a few dollars. :thumbsup2 On our last cruise we saw several families that brought the blow up lounger/raft and used them all day. And lastly keep in mind all the stuff that CC charges for each of the other ports offer them at a cheaper price and usually for a longer usuage time, which is a better value for your dollar :thumbsup2. :lovestruc

I'm soooooo tired. Wonderful BBQ at a friends house tonight. While the warm swimming weather has yet to arrive in PA, there is no lack of nice mild summer days to allow you to enjoy playing outside and hardly ever turn on the air. I think the air conditioner has been on a total of 3 days since May. So we weren't poolside today, it was so gorgeous to be outside. The wine was flowing. And now I'm struggling to stay awake for July 13th. I've set my watch alarm to wake back up at 11:58. Should I be looking for DIS times for Palo? I'm not sure I'm awake enough to surf through so many pages. We have been quite chatty lately. :)

Hi Ladies and Jents,

I will be up too :happytv. Booking Flounder's nursery, adding CC info, maybe some reservations and off course a spa. I am patiently waiting while sipping on frozen strawberry/banana margarita with whip, yummi. I have been a lush lately due to me renting a margarita machine for our 4th of July party and I have a lot of mix left. Somebody has to drink it? 50 min left...

Jacqueline, the Bridal Shower was non alcoholic but I did have a lots of yummi cupcakes. Desert is my favorite type of food, any kind or flavor and that is why I have been on Weight Watchers. In regards to Aft you will need drammomine, lots of ship movement. Otherwise it was a great location, especially with the size of balcony, wow. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the balcony, I even brought a portable, normal size table so we do not eat out of our laps, not a big fan of that. I might even lugg it this time? I prefer style and comfort.

Ana stay awake, u can do it!

I bring my own foldable floatie made by Swimway. Great to have, not difficult to lug.

Not even the option to book a high tea or brunch. Guess I stayed awake for nothing. Oh well. Off to bed. I guess I just keep checking back to see if those options become available?

Good night all.

Bummer! I was really hoping that they would open up some brunch slots with the 75 day window, but I didn't find any!

Hope everyone found everything they wanted. :thumbsup2

I'm off to get some sleep!

That's weird. I had high tea & dinner available, but no brunch. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to keep checking every day & cross our fingers!

Good night. :sad2:

Haha, I know the feeling about desserts. :lmao: We don't have to many great-great ones I like, but when I get to the US I go bananas with them. Mostly with any type of food. :rolleyes1:laughing:

Drammomine you said? Hmm, interesting experience that'll be. I'll prepare friend for it. ;) Hopefully I should be fine though. I was 'this close' to being born on a boat and sailed from a very early age -fishingboats combined with a lot of heavy weather- so hopefully my body is still used to it. And if not, oh well. Guess that way I can eat even more without having to worry about my pants fitting. :rotfl:

Maybe it's due to different groupsizes?

For those who didn't get what they wanted; sorry! Hopefully something will open up for each and every one. Those who did get some stuff they wanted; congrats!

Crystal; happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, and a lot more of very out of key singing. ;) :bday:

Thank you so much, Hon! We had a wonderful time on Saturday night. In addition to a cookout, DH surprised me with a casino party. He had a dealer come in for a few hours to deal poker and blackjack, and had a midnight dessert buffet. YUMMY!! It was a blast - - as soon as I get the pictures from my friend (the designated photographer for the night) I will post a couple of them.

I hope everyone is having a great Monday. I checked on the Disney Cruise website this morning and still no high tea, but it looks like I have the option for Palo brunch and dinner. It *must* be linked to party size. Hopefully, spots will continue to open up, and I'm sure that there will be reservations for the taking on the ship.

I have to work today because my counterpart has jury duty, so my birthday will officially kick off once I clock out for the day.

Sounds like a great party, if you ask me! :)

Whatever is going on with DCL's ressie system; who knows? Our partysize is the same as yours (2 adults, at least. I'ld think we'ld be safe to assume they wouldn't count TB for Palo), but I can't change the Palo brunch if I would've wanted to. Could for dinner, looks like day 3 and 6 will be busy nights at Palo. And of course, no option to change high tea if desired. All do show up with the 'option' of picking the dates and timeslot we've got, but I guess that's simply the system showing what we've got instead of an actual availability?

That timing is a bit of a shame. Jury duty right on this one day of the year. By the way, how does that work anyway? We get painted the picture the media does, and probably sitcoms, movies etc. aren't doing stuff the best justice. ;) Can these things really last and last and last and last, or is that basically reserved for a few in and between big cases?

Here in Atlanta, you can usually get out of jury duty once, but after you've used your freebie, you are stuck. And, given how busy the courts calendars are, you can be required to appear for as much as a 2-week calendar. Usually, though, you appear for the first day, and the court will either put you on notice to return for XX number of days, or they will dismiss you from appearing again. If, however, you get picked to sit on a jury, you are at the court's mercy for as long as the trial lasts. However, most trials (even criminal ones) typically only last a few days, so even if you're picked, at most you are out a week. Still, I'm very used to only working 3 days and then having 4 off - - an entire 5 days at work would *kill* me. :lmao: Oh well, at least my paycheck would be good and I'll have more cruise money, so there is a bright side.
