You could come naked? :rotfl2::scared1:

I did that last cruise...they frowned at first, so I went back to my cabin and put on shoes.:scared1::lmao::rolleyes1 I had the darnest time getting waited on, seems like no one wanted to wait on NAKED GUY...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just Kidding, of course.

Well folks, I've got good news and bad news...bad news first, we had to cancel this cruise. OK, which one of you said, "That's Bad news?" I know a few might be relieved, but with us losing the lease on our store and trying to start over in a new location has put a $$$ strain on us. Good news, I have passed all required test to become a police officer...Have been interviewed by the County sheriffs dept and passed a polygraph with them, just waiting to take the pyscololgot8itoiuyerkljasdfhh (sp?) test. I know I'm certifiable (sp?) nuts, they just want to back it up with proof. They are funny that way...
they have all but said I had the job if I passed this test and Police Academy starts Aug. 17 and runs 16 weeks. So I, (God willing) will be in academy when the cruise comes around...

Hope everyone has fun, I will keep checking this thread and throw my 2 cents worth in every now and again...

OH, I also want to read alot of trip reports...I know a few of you have done them in the past. I would like to see how much fun we missed....so take lots of pics.:surfweb::love:

Hello everyone,

Well my cruise is paid in full:yay:. I had a nice surprise when I paid today. I received a $111.00 package decrease per cabin (2) from when I booked last year on board. They had to add a $111.00 ser-charge to help pay for the high price of disel fuel last year.

YOU DON'T GET MONEY BACK VERY OFTEN:woohoo:

Thanks to both of you now I paint that picture in my mind. And I`m sure it`s not a pretty picture.:lmao:

Grin, I'm so happy I'm not much of a picture-thinker. :lmao::rotfl:

Oh man, that's such a shame!

Good news, I have passed all required test to become a police officer...

Congrats! Now I'm starting to see why some of us might sight of relieve, they must be afraid you would've been checking their alcohol levels and if they should still be allowed to walk around. :goodvibes Good luck on the Academy!!

QUOTE=Paul2003;32391337]Hello everyone,

Congrats! Nice those refunds, aren't they? :)

Well, I made some decisions for this cruise myself also. I was getting sick and tired of stressing out about reservations, get to port early or not etc. So, I had our TA add the REAS-package. The 105 day window combined with the passes for the Rain Forest Rooms and the gift alone did it. So, I told Lieske what I did :rolleyes1 and now we only have to come up with a way to VERY CLEARLY let our cabinsteward know we are not romantically involved. We do not want any gossip to get in the way of Lieske getting her hands on a single good looking guy during the cruise. :lmao::rotfl: Should be fun though. Dutch + the REAS? That must be a good recipe for some quick judgements.

Hi,

Quite new at this posting stuff.
My wife and I and our 2 sons will be going on this cruise so I thought I would jump in and just say hi.

Paul, Ann, Zach, and Ethan
:)

:cheer2:Welcome! Just jump on in and get your feet wet! It's gonna be a wild ride! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I don't have PJ's

Well, it sounds like you've got options now! :rotfl2:

We are officially paid off now and doing the happy cruise dance!!! :cool1::banana::dance3::hourglass:dancer::bounce::cheer2::yay: Yes, I'm happy about it! Now to pay off the WDW portion, and figure out how the heck we're gonna get there from Ohio. :lmao:

All,
Two updates:
The divorce was finalized last Tuesday so thats all done and over with but

I have had to cancel this trip. i am getting a promotion here at work which is a good thing but that means that I have no assistant and will be needing to hire one. The job is already being advertised and a number of people have applied but we cannot start the interview process until I have completed all the HR stuff to move me officially into the new position. This may take another few weeks. I just can't leave a new person here after only a few weeks since its looking like we will start the interview process in late July and won't be hiring anyone until at least mid August if then. My boss really wants to get just the right person so it could take a while. So, I made the desision to postpone the cruise. The only problem is that I have to postpone it until January due to work and personal obligations. I have something going every weekend from mid-October to December. I'm sad to have to miss the cruise cause I really need the break but glad that I can once again get a veranda since I have more t ime to save money. Enjoy your cruise. Have a fruity drink for me.

I think/hope I got list of who's cruising on post #1 up to date. If you notice someone who needs to jump ship or come aboard let me know and I'll fix it.

Hi there,
If you are going off of the first post, we have three adults now and everything else is the same. :)

:rolleyes1 When is the 90 day window at again? And secondly I don't remember from our last 2 cruises do I have to register everyone online first to make palo and excursion reservations?

So sorry to hear that the two of you won't be able to join us...but thankfully it is for such good/positive reasons. Keeping my fingers xxxxxxxxxx for the police test and xxxxxxxxxxx fingers that you find a good assistant. :flower3:

It is all coming soooo fast.. Last June when we booked it seemed soooo far away and now I am like.."oh please slow the clock down". BUT I can't wait till it is here. :upsidedow The only thing left that I have to make reservations for is our rental car, we are going on a air boat, swamp ride tour, and going to do the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review at Disney Frontier Lodge. So I need to make reservations for both of them as well.

Well, my oldest daughter [she is 26..had her when I was 17 :scared1:] was kicked out by her boyfriend, and I am babysitting my granddaughter for the day and she is a TAD snarky pirate: but when isn't a 2 1/2 year old not snarky :lmao: Enjoy your Tuesday all. Big :grouphug:

OK Planners.

What deals have you gotten on your one way rentals from MCO to PORT?

I am thinking I am going to use AVIS or Budget as they have the free shuttle.

Hi,

Just wanted to be added to the updated list. Jennifer 32, Randy 35 (celebrating 36 birthday on board), Dakota 12 and Jordan 10. :cool1:

Thanks to both of you now I paint that picture in my mind. And I`m sure it`s not a pretty picture.:lmao:

Methinks that I need to post more on the weekends -- all the good conversations are over by the time I log in on Monday!! :lmao:

Good news, I have passed all required test to become a police officer...Have been interviewed by the County sheriffs dept and passed a polygraph with them, just waiting to take the pyscololgot8itoiuyerkljasdfhh (sp?) test.

That is fabulous news for you, although it stinks you won't be joining us! Best of luck to you!!

I received a $111.00 package decrease per cabin (2) from when I booked last year on board.

Good for you! I guess there is still hope for our onboard fuel credits?? Maybe...

So, I had our TA add the REAS-package. The 105 day window combined with the passes for the Rain Forest Rooms and the gift alone did it.

Now, that's brilliant! Seriously, bravo, Girlfriend, for thinking outside the box. Enjoy every bit of your REAS-package. :cloud9:

Yup - DH and I loved the rasul too. I'm very excited to try the Rainforest Room!

All,

I have had to cancel this trip.

Awwww, I'm so sorry that you're having to cancel, but congratulations on your promotion!! In this economy, you've got to do what you've got to do. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful cruise when you are able to go. Good luck!

:rolleyes1 When is the 90 day window at again? And secondly I don't remember from our last 2 cruises do I have to register everyone online first to make palo and excursion reservations?

By my calculations, our window will open at midnight on Sunday the 28th. And, yes, you will have to log into your cruise reservation on the Disney Cruise website to make the reservations.

And, I agree - - time is FLYING by!! I just told DH yesterday how we've really got to get going on our FE gifts. If we don't get going, you guys are going to be uber-under impressed....which I definitely don't want. However, with us, we tend to do our best work under pressure, so I have no doubt we'll pull it through in the end.

That stinks about your daughter - - I'm sorry!! BUT, the good thing is that, snarky or no, you'll be able to get some great quality time with your DGD.

Hi,

Just wanted to be added to the updated list. Jennifer 32, Randy 35 (celebrating 36 birthday on board), Dakota 12 and Jordan 10. :cool1:

Welcome to the pre-cruise party! :yay:

Well my Bday has gotten off to a wonderful start. Was only nurse at work, got out late, didn't get resort I wanted with AP rate, and Disney website is being it's usual PITB self.

It's got to get better right

We just paid our balance! :cool1: No turning back now...

I see my DH beat me to our great news!

Happy birthday to our threadmaster! I hope your day gets better. :flower3:

Palo Dinner Question - When are you all planning on booking? I was thinking on Sunday night since we will be dressed up for formal night, but what should be our second and third choices be in case it is not available? TIA!!

We personally are aiming for a 2nd sea day brunch. This will be our first vist to Palo.

Ok I need a bit of help from previous cruisers.
I need some idea of what the heck I'm going to need to do Saturday night/ Sunday Am to book stuff.
Can I be logged into Disney cruise site before 12:01 EST? than just have to pull up cruise info or do I need to be completely off site for it to work

I did it before but I wasn't booking any ASAP things that cruise so I looged on later in day.
