Sept. 26, 2009 Magic

With Travelocity. I just checked and they are still offering the "good buy" deal. I hope you can get a super deal with them as well. :woohoo:

Thank you so much! I cancelled our pre-cruise Dolphin ressie and booked the Nick Hotel. I was able to save over $50 doing it that way! (Hey, a little more to spend on the ship;)) The Dolphin would have been nice, but I think our girls will like the Nick hotel better. Plus, we've never stayed there before. Thanks again!:flower3:

ok...i'm back after a long trip through a hectic section of life :headache: the economy has finally started to hit the healthcare field and they are trying to make some changes at work that would result in a large pay cut and scheduling changes that could affect our days off :headache::furious: we have been in negotiations with our managers for weeks. now we just have to see if it all works out :worried: I work at a hospital and we've seen a bit of cutbacks, too. No one got raises this year. I was disappointed, but at least I still have a job, right? They've only layed off a handful of people and I think I'm safe, but of course, you never know. :scared:

DD5 (jenna) had her ct scan last week and they found no more cancer!!:yay::banana::dance3::banana::yay::cheer2::cool1::woohoo:
can you tell we are excited? Congratulations! That is such wonderful news! :banana::banana:

who's going to MNSSHP the night before we depart? anyone been to it before that can tell me if it would be worth trying to get down there early enough to do that? and Jenna wants to do the stingray feeding on CC. is anyone else thinking of letting their 5 year old do that - maybe we could reserve the same time? We thought about doing MNSSHP the night before, but it always ends up being a late night for us and I don't want the girls to be grouchy in the morning. We've been twice before and LOVED it. :love: It is so much fun. If you have the opportunity to go, I would go. I have a DD6. Not sure if she's doing the stingray feeding or not. :confused3 If she wanted to, I would let her though. We usually don't do excursions, but we may change our mind as the cruise gets closer. We'll see.

:goodvibes:goodvibes

sorry so many ???s i will try to be more present now that we are through school and getting closer.:hourglass

That is wonderful, fabulous, incredible news about your DD!! I can't imagine how thrilled you guys are. :yay: Since my DD (Ansley) is also 5, hopefully, they can pal around together during the cruise!!

And, we also will be doing MNSSHP the night before our cruise. We had a great time last year and now that we've done it we know what's important to see and what's not so important, so hopefully we'll do even better this year. We will be driving down on Friday (9/25) so we'll be in the car by 6:00 a.m. in order to make it to Disney by the start of the party. It's going to be a loooonnngggg day, no doubt, but we'll be able to sleep in on the morning of the 26th and just get to the port whenever we feel like it.

Information about SM has been sent!

I know, one major part of information is still missing; the unveiling of who is whoms SM. Seeing as this will be my first cruise, I'm a bit lost as to where it would be smart to arrange such a gathering. Counting the kids, there are 19 of us. And somehow I think that eventhough I'll have a very large balcony, it'll be a bit too small for all of us to be able to breath. ;) So any good suggestions about a public place not too busy for this; very much appreciated!

I just have to say that I'm super happy with my SM!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing the legwork in organizing this, Hon!! About the reveal, maybe we could just plan on meeting one day for icecream on Day 6 of our cruise at a designated location...maybe the Mickey Pool, but that's going to be busy, so I don't know how well that will work? Anyone else have any suggestions??

And, yes, I am becoming a bit obsessive about checking my BLT waitlist - LOL. There's been some rumors that more inventory is going to be released soon (which will open up the waitlists) but who knows if that's true or not. I've waitlisted up until the day before we check in, so hopefully it will come through.

AND, on a way cool front, DH and I have finally settled on an idea our FE gifts. I don't want to give anything away, but I really, *REALLY* hope that they go over as well as we are imagining them. I'm soooooooo excited! :banana:

Really, no problem at all! Good to hear you are happy with your assignment, wouldn't want to be on a ship with angry people. :lmao:

Hmm, isn't icecream always a good idea? :goodvibes Another option mentioned through PM was Diversions. Also a good option for a moment out of the warmth.

And, yes, I am becoming a bit obsessive about checking my BLT waitlist - LOL.

I won't tell you not to. I would do the same! ;)

Hmm, they tend to be right about a lot of rumors. Remember, they were right about AKV, BLT and the Treehouses even before any sign could be seen on site or press releases were done. Hopefully this is also a correct rumor.

Don't worry too much. I'm sure you guys can do what you have in mind.

And back to work I go again. :headache: I've been spending way too much time on here and especially on YouTube. Dangerous website that is! Search for one program or song and I always end up doing through a lot more. :woohoo:

Hey everyone. Got a really nasty computer virus so we have been down for a few days. Then, instead of doing a system restore my husband did a system recovery, so we LOST EVERYTHING! :headache: So now we are desperately trying to figure out why our internet will not scroll without freezing and hesitating. We are pretty darn sure all the viruses are out but now we can barely use the internet! If anyone is techie can you please help me?

My suggestions for Secret Mickey reveal meet are:
Secret Aft deck on Deck 7, one of clubs on beat street, or pomorade lounge.

We did MnSSHP a couple of years ago, and the kids really had a blast! They wore their pirate costumes so we got double duty out of it, also! :thumbsup2 We will be down on the Monday preceding the cruise this year to take advantage of free dining, but have decided not to do MNSSHP since we did it two years ago, and will use our money on the ship the following week! ;)

:cool1::cool1:counting down the days!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Crystal that is wonderful news!!! When will you be heading "home"????? We are checking in on Monday, and DH and I will do our 15th anniversary dinner on Thursday, and really, really looking forward to EPCOT food and wine on Friday!

Funny story... The last time we did food and wine the girls were in Neverland at the Poly, and we took the boys as they were just two and in a stroller. We figured no biggie, just get them some popcorn and we can stroll around try out some of the offerings. As we made our way around the countries it occured to us that someone was following us. It turns out we had our own personal CM discreetly following behind us to sweep up the boys "popcorn droppings". Talk about service. lol :rotfl:We still chuckle when we think back.

Now that's just funny! :lmao::rotfl:

It just went :idea: in my head. Tomorrow is our 90-day mark for our WDW-stay. Finally IPO will be able to make our dining reservations and even more important; sunrise safari reservation. :thumbsup2 Whoohoo! That sure does make the whole trip feel a lot closer. Only 91 more days before we'll be on the plane towards major fun. :woohoo:

Sunrise Safari! I'm jealous! ;) My son Luke loves animals so much he can tell you all about most of them out there. He, of course, loves Animal Kingdom best and would spend his entire vacation there if could be!

Two more days for our 90 day window. Have fun making those ressies!!!:thumbsup2
