I don't know if anyone hit the after Halloween sales for pirate attire or not. Just curious, how many folks are planning on dressing up for pirate night? I am (never miss an excuse to wear a costume) but husband is now second guessing his decision to FINALLY (after numerous boring MNSSHP nights) dress up. I am hoping to reassure him he will not be alone (other than me, because appearantly I "don't count").

If nothing else, he will have Disney ties. That has been my new goal, to find him masculine Disney accessories! I want him to have a different one for Formal, semi-formal, and Palo nights. Two down, one to go!

Has anyone started thinking about fish extender gifts yet? How's our count on participants going?

My Dh, I and Jodi will be dressed up. I got my Dh a mickey tie at walmart of all places. Maybe I should scope out another one for him.
As for FE gifts I've put thought into it but am trying to hold my pants on before buying stuff.

My family and I will be dressing up for Pirate Night. My DH and DSIL also have Disney ties to wear on formal/semi formal night.

The FE count is about 18 cabins or so....about half of us have signed up to do FE. Hopefully more will sign up as we get closer to sailing.

Hey everyone,
I haven't been on in a while and I have a lot to read to catch up.

It looks like we're be adding a little one to dh and I's room for this cruise. The baby will be 16 weeks old when the cruise comes. Thank goodness for lots of help from my family. My sister and parents are fighting over who gets to watch the baby while on the cruise. They are all pushing us to go to the spa and palo so they can keep the baby. The fun part is going to be getting a passport before the cruise since as of right now June 1, 2009 is the cut-off date for using birth certificates.

I can't believe less then a year!!!!

Daisy, congratulations - that is such fabulous news for you!!

Havent been around much lately on the boards, just been really busy with family etc.
Hope everyone is doing well.
In the Uk it is raining most days at the moment, but not not that cold yet.

Has anyone finished there Xmas shopping yet ?, I have made a start but have loads to buy . All I want to do really is pack for my trip to WDW on 27th Dec.

Jan, I feel for you about the weather - - I had to brave 27 degrees this morning here in Georgia. Brrrrrrr! I had to laugh at your question about Christmas shopping - I have barely started - LOL. We are planning on getting DD a television for Christmas and I've heard that on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving where everything here in the States goes on major sale) that televisions are going to be half price, so we're waiting to see how we do with the television before buying DD more. Hopefully, DH can hang in there with the crowds and get some good deals - LOL.

Did you manage to save anything from the computer, bye the way? My laptop decided it's overly empathetic with your computer. It died on me last sunday. We could save the harddisk (had most already backed up luckely), but besides that no cpr results. So here I am, on a new laptop. Sure lousy timing, this few days before our trip to WDW. Glad to be back on the DIS though.

No, I haven't even tried yet - I'm scared for someone to give me the "no-go." That computer had The Big's entire life in pictures on it, and I just can't face that they may be gone. I can't believe your computer died on you too - must be going around. At least you were smart and backed your stuff up. At least you will have a new "toy" to play with while you're at Disney!!

Can imagine you're not looking forward to possible bad news about the computer. On the other hand; doesn't it kill you to not know anything? It still gives hope, but it also keeps you from knowing possible any good outcome. Hopefully they can save your harddisk, just like they could mine.

No laptop coming along with me this december. I'll be way to busy to be able to use it anyway.

My family has myself (Kimberly), DH (Woody), DD12 (Megan), DD11 (Emily) and DS8 (Hayden). We will also be joined by my step-daughter (Courtney 24yrs) and her friend (Taylor 24yrs). In another cabin is my sister (Stephanie) and her DD10 (Kiara).

So, once you take Kim and her family out of the group I listed originally, my census is two families. Me, DH, DS11 and DS8 in a Cat 4. The last family in our collective group also has two boys, 8 and 10. They are in a Cat 6, I think (I don't think they will be joining the thread.)

I sooooooooooooo want to cruise at the moment! It has been snowing here for 3 days now. It's only fall. I so want some cruising sun! Thank god for a trip to WDW in a couple of days.

And thank god for having paid the cruise off allready. After the laptop, now my washing machine is acting up. We think we know what it is, and if that is correct, it's probably cheaper to buy a new one than reparing it. Things tend to break/go wrong in threefold in my household, so I'm anxiously awaiting to see what will happen next. Hopefully WDW wont get snowed in on one of those 'freak once in a lifetime weather phenomenons'.

Weather is a bit warm here for this time of year... 70's. It will give me some warmth to set the christmas lights today, only after I shampo the front room! Busy day for me. Oh and I almost forgot... a business meeting for the art guild.

It will be my first 7 day cruise, I've done 2 4 day ones So I have some clue as to what I'm in for, plus DH and I will be celebrating 7 years of marriage!!!

You are no better off than I am here in south Mississippi! There was so much frost on the ground this morning it looked like snow. The low was about 30 and going to 40 tonight. Tomorrow it should be a high near 70!!! YAY I sure hope so....I hate the cold!!

Yesterday was my 24th wedding anniversary. Why I got married so close to Christmas I have no idea. And then to top it off, both of my kids have birthdays in November....Nov 19 and 24!! What was I thinking!!!
