Yeah Julie.......we can hook up if you want

Ocean Blue: Capt Marvin. I believe waterfront is within a block or 2 my confirmation email is at home, I will double check. Our family DH, DD's 9 & 11 are on the 10am, 3 hour, along with David & DiDi and their families. Its stingray city and 2 additional snorkel stops. David volunteered to link our Reservations so feel free to join us and let him know.

Ingrid :rotfl2: That does sound like a nightmare :rotfl2:

Dennis..Gevalia??? Is that the mail order stuff?? I think thats the add DH just found and wants me to order.....comes with coffee pot & coffee??

Ok folks we need that NO HURRICANE dance :cheer2: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

Dennis - I am not dancing, you are dancing for part of our entertainment during the pub crawl. Remember? :wave2:

Kim - Yeah, let's get together at Paradise Beach! We get to Cozumel at 10:30 a.m. Do you plan to be off not much after that? I heard it can get really crowded there at Paradise Beach. I was thinking if it gets to crazy, we were going to move down to Palm Beach. Have you heard about that one? Oh, I just looked and there are only 5 cruise ships in Cozumel that day, I think that might be just below average, so that's good. Either way, it should be a great beach day...drinks, food, beach, more drinks...Woo-Hoo! :3dglasses :sunny:

I hadn't checked our arrival time, Thanks julie.
Yes I believe we will be ready to go ashore at 10:30. I was planning on having lunch on the beach. No problem, if paradise beach is too crowded we can switch. I don't have much info on Palm Beach, do you have a web site I can check out?? :Pinkbounc

I can't find a web site specific to Palm Beach but here are some that talk about it:

http://www.cozumelinsider.com/Beaches This one has info on all of the beaches in Cozumel. If you go down about halfway, Paradise and Palm are listed under "West Coast - South of San Miguel"

http://www.gocozumel.com/beach.htm More about beaches. You can tell that Palm, San Francisco and Paradise are really close to each other.

Sorry, these aren't very good. I can't get cruisecritic.com to work for me right now. I'll try again later. They have tons of info on all the Cozumel beaches.

Kim and Julie, We probably will do the Paradise Beach too. After comparing Mr. Sanchos to Paradise Beach, the later is winning in terms of more positive reviews. :cool1:

It's sure hard to make decisions when it's our first cruise. We just don't know yet what we like or don't like! Next time it will be much easier. :)

Brad, I'm pretty sure I read that the Waterfront Centre is two blocks from the ship.

Ingrid, Julie, and Erin - have sent update ::MickeyMo booklets to all y'all
Didi - hope you didn't mind my editing of your dress, but as the BVP/tooth fairy I thought it'd work ;)

hello to everyone :)

Hello everyone...I just got my internet service back so I am able to post. I spoke with Erin earlier and they are all OK, thank goodness. They have power but the girls are still out of school today and will be until further notice is what Erin heard this morning. Things look really bad just to the west of them though. I am in shock as I watch the videos and pictures on the news. Here in B'ham we had really high winds and have some power outages but of course nothing major as compared to everything that happened on the coast. Thanks to everyone for their concern. I am sure Erin will post as soon as she gets phone and internet service restored.

Thanks for the Info Julie,

Great group photo bpicard9.......where's my dress??? :teeth:

Glad Erin is doin ok

Glad Erin and southernmouse are okay.

Kim - how could I forget your lovely frock.
here's the better image. Link to chart updates are still around the image.

Wow! Bpicard9 sent me rolling on the floor again! Great software. I love Julie's stomach! :rotfl:

Ocean Blue- we are taking the 11:15 a.m. stingray city tour with Capt. Marvins. They told me they are two blocks from pier as long as a hurricane doesn't move them to another location. You are also welcome to link with our group. We did the shorter two hour excursion because we didn't want two snorkeling stops due to younger kids. This group will have girls age 8,9,5, and one boy age 4. Then adults will be Julie, Me, and Lori. There will be others on boat too, but that is who is going with our group. You are welcome if you wish.

Interesting news about the beach closing early in Cozumel. Where did you find that info, Ingrid? That makes me sad. I don't think our excursion will be done until around 4. So I thought we would take cab to Paradise beach afterwards. But if they close at five, that certainly won't work. My kids really wanted to try their water sports.

Have to run my daughter to gymnastics. Check back later. Deanna

Ingrid, please forgive my oversight. You can see that I've corrected it now. :rotfl2:

bpicard9 - You are great! I love it! Because of that, you have won yourself a dress, little lady:

Erin and Southernmouse - Glad you are well. Hope to hear from Erin soon. Thanks for the update!

Wow! Bpicard9 we love the dress. You can only guess what the front looks like. Maybe it has a hole in the belly like Julie's dress! :cool1:

Ingrid- thanks for the link. I will check it out.

5 cruise ships in Cozumel and that is below average! Wow. That is going to be a busy place.

Dennis- have you heard about the job?

Southernmouse- Thanks for the updates. ErinC must be having quite the time!

Hello,

I am the newbie that Kim spoke of today. We cruised on the Wonder last December, and had the time of our lives. I did not think that we would be cruising again so soon, but DCL offered us a great deal. You all sound like you have really researched the excursions and other options. Not being much of a world traveler myself I didn't know if booking through DCL was the way to go. Have any of you been to these places before? Also, we are owners at the Ron Jon Cape Caribe, and we love it there. Thumbs up all the way. So much to do. Anyway, Myself (Patti), my husband (Alex) and our three boys James (17), he will turn 18 in cozumel, Danny (15), and Caden (3)
Yes, he was a surprise. will all be cruising. The last cruise I did not see my teens the entire time. They loved it. I did not know these boards existed when I cruised the last time either. They really are informative. Thanks again Kim for answering my e-mail. Hope to become aquainted with you all before we leave. God Bless those folks Hit by hurricane Katrina. We went through 2 hurricanes last year, but not near the devestation. Thanks again and look forward to chatting with you

Patti

Patti- Welcome to the group! Since you are owners at Ron Jon's, are you staying there on Friday night before the cruise? Two of us on this board are staying there before the cruise. We plan on meeting the night before to say howdy! Let us know if you will be there. Glad to hear you had a marvelous time! :cool1: I'm going to PM you something about where you are from!
