I hope everyone is staying safe with the hurricane......I tried watching a little before i took my son to school this morning....Abbey seems to have pink eye so i have to run her to the dr this morning...she just started preschool last week and already sick...poor girl....

Does anyone have a list of what everyone is doing and the family info? I have not booked a thing and really need to get on it.....I feel so unorganized....
Also are the men in this group wearing a tux to dinner on Formal night...i have heard so many mix reviews on this and not ever being on the disney cruise I don't know what to expect.....but i am not real sure my hubby is going to want to wear a tux.....LOL

this is somewhat similar to smilingmouse's dress so you probably shouldn't stand next to each other, we may all get dizzy and fall down!!

Wow! That dress looks like the kiddie straws they give out at Friendly's that change colors when the cold drink goes through them! So fancy!!!

Guess I should post 5 things about DH, Brian:

1) Has pilot's license and loves everything that flies
2) Annually reads Lord of the Rings trilogy
3) Currently training for Philadelphia Marathon scheduled for November
4) Is the Mayor of our little hometown
5) Graduated from Notre Dame and loves that Irish football and Guinness.

DS, Spencer, age 9:
1) Loves Star Wars, Yu-Gi-Oh and Spiderman
2) Loves science
3) Enjoys reading comic books
4) Has more Legos than the law allows
and 5) is the sweetest, most gentle little boy I know.

DD, Meredith, age 6
1) Takes Irish Step Dance and ballet lessons
2) Loves all the Princesses, especially Cinderella
3) Recently learned how to ride her two wheeler without training wheels
4) Likes watching the Doodlebops and
5) Adores her big brother

Kwork11 - Preschool DD started last year, the first two months I didn't work a full week once. She got every cold, vires, pink eye.
But after the first couple of months she just didn't seem to get sick any more so you should be fine just give it a little time.

Maybe we can get our DD together on the ship they are both 3 and I am sure your daughter is a little angel like mine also no TUX for DH just a suite.

Guys - I was thinking about wearing my ZOOT Suit to the interview. Do you think that is "too casual"? Thanks for the good wishes - part of me wants it & part of me doesn't. Well qualified and not really worried about the interview. If I get it, great ... if not, well they are building a new Fazio golf course about three miles from here ... Maybe they will need someone to drive the "beer cart". Of course, there may be limited profits.

Man 1 day away from the boards and you fill 4 pages .

Well got windows washed yesterday ...DD's actually helped .

Went on a Jet boat Dinner trip on our Gorgeous Rogue River Hells Gate. Thats where they filmed "The river Wild" with Kevin Bacon, and other movies.

I know DD's will bond with lots of our kids once they meet them. They're just not real sure until their face to face. DD9 connected with another family's DD last night (never met them before), it was hard tearing them apart at the end of the evening.

Julie: Dress is.........."gone with the wind"..... don't need a hole cut. Looks like lots of room to grow

Its kids last week of Summer vacation , seems like it just started.
i can't believ we only have 3 weekends left ...soo much to do so little time....

Hello Everyone!

I just talked to ErinC on the phone and they are surviving. She did say the weather is getting worse there. The wind is pretty bad and some rain has been coming in their living room through French doors. But as of now, no damage and they still have power so that is good, but no internet, so I told her I would post and let everyone know they are OK. I really feel for everyone who is getting hit by this storm, it is such a huge monster. Here in Birmingham, we will be getting affected later this afternoon. The main worry this far inland is tornados. Thanks to everyone for their concern for both of our families.

I am going to try to catch up on the posts now, I am only on pg. 21

Jamie, sounds like your husband and mine will get along just great. Bill is currently reading the third book of Lord of the Rings.. The Return of the King. I suppose your DH has all the movies, you know the extended versions. All of us know many of the lines in the movie, especially the DH. Get him going and he sounds just like Gollum. Lets see if both DH's can match Guinness to Guinness in the Pub Crawl....

Spencer and Patrick, sound like they are cut from the same cloth. Stars Wars, lego's I just can't keep up.

Marsha, my prayers are with you and your family. Hope your Dad gets on the mend real soon. Keep us posted.

kwork11 and Marsha - My daughter is the same way with getting sick those first few weeks of school. She has already had a stomach virus and has only been in school for a week and a half! We wash hands, change clothes after school, etc., but we just can't seem to avoid it. Kwork11, my husband will be in suit and tie.

Our port day plans:

Key West: Shopping, walking, Key Lime Pie , Kino Sandals
Grand Cayman: Stingray City and 1 snorkle stop through Capt. Marvins - we are linked up with Deanna if you are interested.
Cozumel: Submarine Excursion through Disney
Castaway Cay: Eating and playing on the beach!

Our port plans:
Key west: walk, key lime pie shop, maybe lighthouse, & martaritaville
Grand Cayman: Stingray City & 2 snorkel stops (capt marvins) with David & Didi and families.
Cozumel: Hanging out at Paradise beach, shopping.
CC: flexible, but ideas are a bike ride, maybe sail boat,(although DH says he won't get on one, everytime he has tried in past boat capsized ). And of course hanging out at beach and eating .
