Hi, I just registered today, so I'm new to this. Have been reading some of the comments. This cruise will be our very first one, so we decided to go on a Disney Cruise. It will be myself , my wife , my 11 year-old son and my 8 year-old son. Looking forward to a very fun week.

Well i am trying not to disappoint you by keeping up with the post..)

bpicard9 were are you in St. Louis .....I was born and raised there....my hubby and our family moved 3 years ago to Tampa Fl....i go home at least every 6 weeks....all my family is there. I miss St. louis and the seasons so bad!

Well i thought i would do a little shopping today and the only think i got was a beach tote....and stopped to let Abbey build a bear....i have got so much to do! and to get ready heck we only have 3 weeks left and i still need to lose 10 pounds....UGH....

Is anyone staying at the RAd the night before?

I'm not picky I'll wear anything. I can't wait to meet all of you. We are now leaving DiDi's house after she fed us hotdogs and hambergs. What a lousy cook. I expected so much more....what a slacker. Where's the roasted potatoes with fresh rosemary and olive oil. How about the fresh Swordfish with ginger, garlic and lemon juice. I'm soooooo disappointed!!!! I must go now, the kids have school tomorrow. I'll be praying that Didi gets her cooking skills back. For those you are going through the hurricane, please be safe.

Didi & Family - I love your pictures! They turned out great. Didi, I love the one of you on the board waving at the camera. You look so happy. Your son looks like a sweet little boy! It looks chilly in the picture with you and Marsha - but the seagull on the van behind you steals the show. The family picture is so cute! Barney is a heck of a fine looking feline! Wow! Kathy will look absolutely marvelous! The bonus of this dress is if the wind blows the dress a bit, it plays music like an accordion! Great find, Julie! She did ask for it. Ingrid- you must show that pic to your daughter. What is her wedding date again? I know it is coming soon.

Didi and Marsha- Love the pics. You guys look like you're having fun. Three beach babes! Good job on the boogie board, Didi. And that garden in your yard! Wow! It puts my garden to shame. Does Barney fertilize them regularly or something? My son is very interested in meeting Patrick after looking at the photos. My son loves water sports also. Was that a rocky beach? It looks like there isn't much sand.

kwork11- did you get my PM yesterday about the info for the door magnet? Just let me know. Didi's is almost complete! So now I need a new victim. Uh....I mean a new project.

Just checking in. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers! We should be fine. We will be okay as long as Katrina doesn't decide to track to the east at the last minute. We crossed over the interstate tonight (I 10) going to eat some dinner with a couple from church. The traffic was awful. They estimate that 2 million people are trying to flee the New Orleans and Mississippi gulf coast area. We couldn't leave now and get anywhere if we tried. Chad's Aunt and Uncle left their home near New Orleans around 12:30 today. At 4:30 they were just reaching Slidell, LA (about 40 miles from New Orleans). I'm not sure if they will even make it here. A normal trip from New Orleans to our area would be about 2.5-3 hours. They were forcing most people off of I 10 to head north. Some guy on the radio said that they stopped in Biloxi for a bathroom break, and then weren't allowed back on I 10 east! (This is why we won't leave the area again during a hurricane). Keep in mind that while these people are stuck in traffic up to there eyeballs, many are running low on gas, and most stations are out of gas. Don't get me wrong If I lived in New Orleans I would evacuate, but since we aren't in the direct path we should be fine. Anyway, this might help explain why we stay put.

I'll check back in tomorrow morning. We should get the worst of our weather tomorrow morning and early afternoon. By sunset it should be about past us.

Good Morning to all especially to Deanna who is still sleeping.

NO words can describe the dress you picked out for Kathy, Julie. I'm trying not to wake everyone up. Let just hope there is not a strong ocean breeze on the cruise, it could fold up around Kathy's neck and she'd be quite the sight flashng her undies.

Julie that seagull is very famous the camera guy got his pic before the crowd noticed him. Once the crowd got to him to get his autograph he took off.

The beach actually is not rooky at all, the rocks you see separate the parking lot from the beach. The beach is in Little Compton RI, near Westport MA.

By the way, Deanna tell your son that Patrick will be happy to have a new friend to romp in the water with. We may never get them outof the water!!!

By the way, Barney does a great job fertilizing the garden, we let him out on the deck everyday it's great not to have to clean a litter box. You know, I threw away the Miracle Grow, there's no need for it if you have a Barney in the house.

Coffee is done. I must catch the News and wake everyone up by 5:45AM. School starts Wednesday.

Sorry I am behind on the reading, but my weekend was turned upside down. Saturday my dad fell he said he was fine after me and mom tryed to get him to go get checked. Well Sunday morning I got a call from my brother, my father was on the way to the hospital, and I need to met them and hubby need to pick up DD. They think Dad might of taken a diabetic cesor. After almost 12 hours in the ER they released him but no work or driving for him. He needs to see more docs and have more test I am sure.

Okay on a happier note we are getting closer

Keri = Welcome Abroad, I am traveling with DH and DD3, I am doing a Glass Bottom Boat Ride & Butterfly farm with Captain Marvin. He isn't charging me for DD3 so I am saving by going through him. Key West I am doing the Tour on the trolly.
