Big Floppy Fish to you too.... :rotfl2: That still cracks me up :rotfl:

Yeah I wish I was the big winner......We're all dying to know who????? :confused3

Warren's co-workers most always pitch in and buy a big batch of tickets, I would just fall over dead if it was them. Especially since warrens been down in CA this week so he couldn't put in his buck :guilty:

Julie; I see you selling Kino's on the main board  Just love mine.......I love going into the closet and asking myself "hmmmm which kino's should I wear today???" :rotfl2:

I saw the 2007 prices posted and WOW!!!!! :earseek: Guess our funds will be going for dental and Orthodontics :guilty:

Yep, I'm selling the Kinos on the main board. Now it will be my fault if someone buys them and doesn't like them or if they don't have the particular color they want. Hee hee! I have a feeling Kino weather is over here. It's just over 50 degrees today. I love it though. In fact, this morning I took a few Mom's from Bailey's kindergarten class and we went boot shopping. There are way too many cute boots out there this season!!! :cloud9:

Adios!

Hey everyone!!!

I just wanted to say Hi and get us back to page 1!
I am here at work on this Friday morning wishing I was at
Castaway Cay like everyone on the cruise this week!

How is everyone doing?

I have missed all of you! :grouphug:

Hi All,

Check your mailboxes for the 1st e-mail!!

Take care,

David

I replied to the first email. I got a few returned to me. I think it was David's and Didi's. So let me know if you two didn't get it.

Have a great day! Deanna

well, folks...we are thinking that if we book another cruise it's not gonna be Disney (gasp!! can I say that on here?). :scared: The prices for DCL while kids are out of school are outrageous. And Channi had a very difficult time catching up at school, so I don't think I can do that to her again. They hounded her with homework. She was doing about 3 hours of homework a night for about a week and a half! (mean teachers!) :teacher:
However...we did have a ball at Magic Kingdom and may do the World for a week or so next year. It will probably work out to be less for a week on land then a cruise during the busy season.
So, now I'm doing a lot of research on other cruiselines.

Ingrid - Yeah, I know what you mean. I still have the 9-30-06 date reserved, but don't be surprised if someday I am on this thread in tears because I cancelled. Bailey's teacher was great with her being gone on vacation, but I have heard that many other teachers can be MUCH less helpful about the whole thing. I guess we will wait and see. I was looking at '07 prices for March and it was CRAZY! Wow! Anyhoo, talk you all later!

Hi Deanna,

It looks like Diane's bounced on me too. But I didn't get anything either.

Can you tell me what the message sent?

Thanks.

David

Hi Everyone,
Getting us back on page one.

David: I got your's and Deanna's emails but when I tried to add the whole group to my address book, it said some addresses were invalid.

Ingrid: I hear you on DCL being WAY too expensive even in 2007. And not wanting to take kids out of school.

Plus our washer (which is not even 2 years old) is about to take a dive. We found out its a Manufacutors defect that Amana DID NOT recall!!!! Labor alone is $250!!!!!!......thats almost as much as what the washer cost!!!! :earseek: So Now we get to fight with Amana aka...Maytag..soon to be Whirlpool to try to get them to at least give us something, preferabbly a big chunck toward a new washer....looking at front loaders now and they are LOTS!!!!!!
There goes more cruise money!!! Why does it always happen with christmas right around the corner????? :confused3 UUGGGHHHH!!!

Hope everyone is doing well,

Hi All,

I sympathize Kim. Two days before we left for vacation our well broke. Let me say that was an expensive thing to fix.

I messed up Diane's e-mail address. :confused3 Go figure?

I'm going to try again.

David

Howdy everyone!

Just checking to see what the gossip is............ our thread is slowly dieing. How sad is that?!

I tried a second attempt of the email. Let me know if you get it! So far nothing has bounced back at me this time!

Ingrid- I know what you mean about switching lines. I am actually considering RCCL only because I want a different ship. I loved Disney, but I've done it. I am thinking I need to mix it up a bit. I wish Disney had different ships to choose. I'm still very undecided and currently still have Sept. 30th held. The other group that was thinking about going on Sept. 3 have cancelled out since they have a group of 5. That extra person just adds so much to the cost of the stateroom!

I got my Castaway Club C.D. in the mail today. I've been listening to Caribbean music this afternoon. Yippee!

Have a great night. Deanna :cool1:

Kim- I could send ya an old wash board and a clothes line! Then maybe you could come on vacation with us in Sept!

Deanna

We are looking at RCCL cruises off of the West Coast. For two reasons: the airflight down to FL is a killer..both by price and distance (six hours!) And secondly..if we pull into Port Canvarel to get on our RCCL cruise ship, and see the Disney ship there, I just might break down and cry!

Deanna..if you get any good info on RCCL, please share! I found a bit, but it's hard to find. They don't have a board like this one..that's fer sure.

Hola!

Deanna - Good to hear from you again! I would also like to find a great RCCL site. Let me know what you find. I use cruisecritic alot, but I haven't found anything like this board. By the way, I didn't get the email this time. Don't know what's going on with that!

Hope everyone is doing well. It is officially getting colder here. In the 50's is a sad change from a couple weeks ago on the Magic. :(

Hey folks! just thought I would let you know that I'm still reading, just not posting much. I've had an exhausting day today. My Dad had surgery this morning and had to be at the hospital by 5:30 this morning. I left our house about 5:00(30min. drive) so that I could be with him a little while before they put him under. They put in 4 stints on his 4 abdominal anuerysms. Hopfully this will keep them from getting any larger. I got home in time to take the dog to petsmart, for her training class tonight. As soon as Addison goes to sleep, I'm hitting the bed.

Deanna, your right about the family of 5 thing, that's why we probably won't go again for a good long while. Probably in '08 when Chad's Mom and Dad retire.

Kim, I'm feeling your pain on the washer, our dryer went out when we got home from the cruise, so we had to buy a new one.

Julie, do you think Kino will have any flood specials! ;) (I know, I have a sick sense of humor sometimes! Please forgive me!)

Check in later. Erin

hey guys  Miss all y'all

has anyone looked at the Princess line? I heard somewhere here but can't find the thread or link that they have fresh water swimming pools and they have an island similar to castaway cay? We're investigating other lines, too and we're not certain what to do re: kids clubs, etc.

didn't get the second email :sad2:

take care everyone

Erin - Let's hope the Kino sandal factory fared well in the storm! I have been worried about them! Hope your Dad is feeling better soon, poor guy! :grouphug:

bpicard - I looked a little into Princess before we booked the 9-24-05 Western Disney cruise, but I never found the abundance of information like I found on Disney cruises. I need to sit down and compare Princess, Royal Caribbean and, yes, even Carnival. I heard that the Carnival Glory is a great ship.

Hi All,
Just checking in.....been crazy stressed and busy here :guilty:

Deanna: Didn't get second email either. Thanks for the offer of the wash board... :teeth: Feel the love!!!

Erin hope your dad is going well.

REALLY don't want to be working today.....That post Vacation FUNK is hitting hard today......

I REALLY NEED ANOTHER VACATION :badpc:

Hey Didi you still out there??

Yeah, these postings are slowing up.

Erin - I hope your Dad is doing well. So hard when a parent is sick.

I do have some good news to share. Last week, Air Tran was having a contest to give away 1,000 free flights online. I entered our names and just got an email that Brian won a free domestic flight, up to $500. Guess we're flying AirTran on our next trip to Orlando.

Julie and Ingrid - If you're hesitant about taking the girls out of school for 5 days, think about the Saturday after Thanksgiving next year. Our kids have off on Monday, so they'll be out 4 instead of 5 days. Prices are a little more reasonable than 2007, no passports required and the weather should be nicer than say January or February AND no Hurricane Dances should be needed. BUT, it's an Eastern and that means.....NO KINOs :earseek:

Hi everyone!!! :goodvibes

Wow! Did you all see the pics posted on the main board? They were pics of the docks at Cozumel. How sad is that?!

Today is my birthday! Happy birthday to me. 37.

By the way, anyone bring home a "souvenir"?

I'm still researching RCCL. But still booked for Sept. 30th.

Erin- I hope your Dad heals quickly! How nervous you must have been on surgery day!

David- I'm not sure what is happening with the private email. You will have to research it, as I don't have everyone's addresses.

See ya. Deanna
