Yo Everyone! Well, I am ready for another cruise... This working thing is NOT for me. Fortunately, it is the weekend and Chrystina  wants to sew this weekend. I have been TOLD to go play golf! Nothing much else happening ... we are both headed out this week ~ to different locations again :confused3 then back home for a few weeks and then off to Belize. More Carib & Beach stuff!

Be safe everyone ...

Dennis

Good Morning!!!

It's raining and raining and raining here. :umbrella: It's been raining all week and I think we will finally see the sun next week some time. :umbrella:

I miss all of you. :grouphug:

I'm still in quite a funk, I can't seem to get it all together. Life has been a little unreal. I finally started to feel normal after yesterday. Work has at least kept my mind off of things. I really need another vacation and soon.

I've been really missing Mom and Dad lately. I use to do their shopping on the weekends and make meals for them. I feel like I've been given the pink slip. I best get off of this now, since I'm a bit teary eyed again. No need to get in a funk again....

Well, I'm off to the grocery market this morning and to clean the house. I'm having friends over for dinner and to all of my new friends my house is open to all of you. Tonight I'm making Southwest Chili, for desert Apple Crisp. Of course there will be some delightful snacks prior to dinner. Not quite like the cruise, instead of moi being served I will do the serving. :teeth:

Barney's nose will soon be out of joint, oops I hear thunder.... I'll make this quick so I don't blow up my computer. We are getting a new pet today, a baby rodent, a guinea Pig. Patrick is so happy, I on the other hand am wondering how long of a life span this animal has. pirate: Patrick's third grade teacher/aunt is coming over today with the little present. Her daughter brought one home and thought it was a male, oops the male had a baby and so goes the sga. Well the little female has a new name, Peanut Butter. She's a peanut and is the color of peanut butter so Patrick named her Peanut Butter. Hope Barney behaves!!!! :rolleyes1 I do hope I won't be posting the demise of Peanut Butter. Patrick has been given the law of keeping the Rodent in the cage and if taken out it must be behind closed doors. Another roll of thunder and much closer.....got to go :moped:

Sending hugs and kisses to all. :grouphug:

I'll post later today, got some catch up to do. It doesn't sound good out there.

DiDi :wave2:

HEY EVERYONE!!!!!

I am in major need of some ::MickeyMo luvin!!! I'm having withdrawals!
This week is Alabama's Fall Break and two people I work
with are on their way to WDW ~without me~
Mac said he wanted to see Mickey and I said me too baby doll...
GO TELL DADDY!!!!!!! :rolleyes1 I am going to get that kid in trouble! :rolleyes1
I told Eric that the 3-day cruise the weekend before Valentine's Day
is $399!!! ~hint hint~

How is everyone doing?
Everyone getting Halloween costumes together? pirate:

You know what??? Reality stinks! :confused3 I am not a big fan of this
work thing... I am more into the vacationing thing :confused3
to Eric's dismay!!!

Well I guess I better go... Miss everyone :grouphug:

Hi all,

Fall is really here...down to the 40s at night and back up to the high 60s/low 70s during the day. So hard to get those sweaters out this weekend. With the cost of oil, I refuse to turn the furnace on just yet. Every day without heat, is more money saved for the next sailing with Mickey. :goodvibes

This weekend, I also tested and mastered the Nuts and Berries martini that I had in Palo. If anyone's interested, it's very easy. Equal parts of frangelico, amaretto, chambord and vanilla vodka. So Yummy!!!!

I volunteered to go on Meredith's first grade field trip on Friday. We're going to see Disney on Ice so I already have my DCL tshirt ready to go. It will be a nice little Mickey Fix. I'll say Hi to the crew for everyone.

So sad to see us back on page 2. I guess vacation's really over, huh? BIG SIGH!

Darren and I are still contemplating on when we should go on our next cruise. We had originally said...while sailing...that we were going to wait until Chantel was 10 or 11 before going again, so that..possibly...we would have more "mom and dad" time. But he does'nt think I can wait 4 to 5 years. I think he is right.
Then we heard through the grapevine that my niece is going to get married on a cruise, and that anyone capable of going is invited. However, a wedding date isn't set yet. Now..would'nt it be "ideal" if they chose Disney as their wedding cruise! Then, surely, that would be enough motivation to book!! :cool1:

Hola, everyone!

Glad to see I am not the only one in a "post-vacation funk". Ack. I am not being too successful at getting back to normal life. I just got back from a long weekend trip to Southern California to visit my friend there...without taking my kids! Wow! It was fun, but not any help to my getting back to normal life.

Didi - Hope Peanut Butter has a long and healthy life! However long that may be. My love of animals expands all the way down to rodents. I love guinea pigs and I'm sure when my kids get older we will have some. Good luck with the new pet. By the way, I miss you, too! :grouphug: You are so cute and happy all the time, I love it!

Dennis - Have a great Belize trip - can't wait to hear about it. Tell Chrystina I said hello!

Jamie - The martini you made sounds so great! You know I will be trying it. But I am trying to stay away from tequila!!!! :rotfl:

Hope everyone is doing GREAT!! Miss you all! :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Julie - :drinking: Tequilla is your friend, tequilla is your friend (just remember to go for the 100% pure agave ;) ) :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Miss all of you :grouphug: Real life stinks :crazy2:

Add me to the list of those in the After vacation Funk!!!! :guilty:

Still can't get back in the groove here at home.

I too had a long weekend in Northern California with girlfriends. Was great fun but I still feel the Funk creeping in. I keep seeing things at home that remind me of our cruise and ........long sigh........wish we were going back NOW!!!!!

Didi hope patrick has a great time with new pet. Sorry I'm not a lover of the smaller variety of animal :confused3 . Warren was wondering of you found a coffee press yet??? Can you keep a secret??? I stopped in his ALL time favorite coffee store in Grass Valley CA and picked him up some Sumatra beans and a new "honkin" mug for christmas. I had to have my friend take the beans to her house till christmas because he would have sniffed them out for sure :rotfl2: . Hope all is going well with you.

Dennis have a great trip......VERY JEALOUS....tell crystina hi for me too.

Deanna & Jamie, I know I'm bad about adding up the lump sum, those bills are starting to come in. Plus had to know how much we would have to save to take another trip :earseek:

Julie, back away from the Tequilla and noone gets hurt :rotfl: Where in Southern CA were you??? Aren't those trips with out kids GREAT :cheer2: Thats what I had this past weekend too.

David did you send out the email yet??? Did I miss it???? Didn't see anything yet. I still have the picture project on my list. Are we sending CD's or emailing????? I need to go see how many I have to send.

See ya all later,

Back to boring normal stuff, got to clean house today, Molly has her teeth cleaning too, too bad we can't to to Deanna....that would be a long commute :moped:

Hi, Kim!!!!!! :grouphug:

We were right around Irvine, California. We went to Laguna Beach, Newport Beach and a ton of other places that I can't remember now. :rotfl: And I didn't even have one shot of tequilla! Sounds like you all had a great time as well. Warren will be so happy on Christmas when he opens up his fine coffees and that HONKIN mug. He is a hoot! Oh, and my Discover Card bill came right before I left for CA. I didn't look at it until I got back though. Wow. That was a good choice. :bitelip:

Adios, everyone!

I still don't know how you could just drink that middle shot down. ACK! Miss ya!

Hi All,

We are all finding this real life stuff a little saddening.

Kim: You didn't miss the e-mail, I was just lazy! :)

I've got about 100 photo's for the personal album. More ship pictures than family. Something just didn't work out as planned.

Oh! How many of us have the Powerball lottery in their state? Don't have it here in MA but it's just over the state line in RI! It's up to 340 Mil!!! I've gotta drop $5 or $10 on that long shot. Hey, somebody's gotta win.

I'm taking all of Barney's Brood if I win!! I'll even spring for several days at WDW after our 7, 10 or 11 night cruise! Woo Hoo!!

Night all,

David

:rotfl: Yippee, David, I hope you win if you're gonna take us on vacation. Good luck! We do have the lottery in Kansas, but seldom play it.

Julie and Kim- Welcome home! :cool1:

Kim- bring the kids on into the office! Can you make it by 3 p.m. tomorrow? That is when I get off work! :rotfl:

Julie- I'm very jealous. Laguna Beach is my favorite American beach! I wish I would have been there! I've been twice. I just love the town, etc.

Julie and Didi and Bill- One of DH's sisters and family are considering going with us on our next cruise. Unfortunately for our next cruise with you, we would have to move the date to Sept. 2, 2006. I will keep you posted! They are supposed to make their decision in next few days.

Was anyone almost all the way aft on the last cruise? That is where we are stuck for the next cruise. Cat. 9, deck 2. I'm worried about engine noise. I can't believe we can't get better rooms than that when booking out a year!

Have a great night! This thread has sure slowed down! Deanna

David - Good luck on winning the big bucks! :goodvibes

Deanna - I love, love, love Laguna Beach. The little shops are so fun. I got an awesome pair of jeans there. I'll always remember that beach when I wear them. :cloud9: I know there is no way we could do the Sept. 2 date. :guilty: Let me know what you end up with for sure. As far as the rooms go, I'm sure you can get them changed easily, it's so far away. But I have heard that aft is great for motion sickness. Whatever happens, good luck!

Got my PowerBall tickets. :cool1: When we win, I think I'll book the Roy Suite for entire 2007 year and bring a teacher along for the kids. OK, maybe it would be nice just to pay off the balance of the cruise we just took before the 0% interest expires! :rotfl:

We currently rebooked for 11/25/06 and are in room 2510. I wanted to get closer to the middle of the ship. Had 2530 on our first sailing and loved it. This time we were 2526 and it was a little noisy as it was right above a 1st deck gangway and things would be brought on and off the boat through that door. I'm concerned that this will be noisy since it's right next door to the "noisy" rooms but others on the DIS say it's OK so I'm gonna roll with it. Who knows what will happen after these 2007 rates get released any minute.

Good morning everyone!
David, I am completely against gambling, but if you win the lottery, I'll have no problem taking you up on your generous offer to take us on another cruise! :teeth:

Just to mention, not that I want someone to steal it from me, but since we are not scheduled to cruise, 2504 was great!(Cat.9) Because it is so far forward in the ship, our room was slightly larger than the other Cat.9's around us. Southernmouse was in 2500(the very front room) and you could tell that their room was not quite as large as ours. We could fit our pack-n-play in between the bed and the sofa, they couldn't in theirs. We also had the steamer trunk, they did not. The only noise that we had was the morning that we dropped anchor in Grand Cayman. The rest of the time it was quiet. So if it's available you might look in to booking this room. I was a little nervous with it being all the way forward, but it really worked out to be a good location.

Julie and Kim, I'm jealous of both of you and your kidless trips! Chad was gone to Atlanta for 3 days and I am ready for a break! He and I (and my MIL) are going to Las Vegas on Nov.1st, but we are taking Addison with us. I'm finding it's such a hassle to get the girls taken care of while we are gone, it's almost not worth going with him on business trips anymore. Brileys' soccer team has done so well, that they will play in the playoffs the first week of Nov. So of course, now we will miss her playoff games! :guilty: :guilty: :guilty:

Well I need to go to the grocery store. Briley refused to eat breakfast this morning, because there wasn't anything "good" in this house! (her definition of good, is dry honeynut cheerios!) Whatta Kid!

Ok David I will wait....glad I didn't miss it.

Julie: How fun. We honeymooned in Laguna Beach. Unfortunately the weather wasn't that great in October.

Deanna: What you won't stay late for us????? Took Molly in yesterday: Bad news.....She needs another root canal in her second front tooth #8 (Deanna). This is all due to the accident that knocked out #9. That one was root canalled back then, when they put it back in.
Good news.......her dentist thinks he can have her teeth back to their normal color with a couple of bleach treatments so no vineers!!!! They would interfeer with the orthodontist anyway.
OHHHH there goes more cruise money!!!!! :guilty:

We do have powerball, I didn't play. But will happily take David up on his offer :cheer2:

Hi All,

Well the dream is over. No winners here. I hope I brought a few extra smiles to the group!

Take care!

David

Hey Kim....

That powerball winner is from Oregon...sure you're not holding out on us?!?!? :teeth:

Big Floppy Fish Handshake to you!

Big Floppy Fish to you too.... :rotfl2: That still cracks me up :rotfl:

Yeah I wish I was the big winner......We're all dying to know who????? :confused3

Warren's co-workers most always pitch in and buy a big batch of tickets, I would just fall over dead if it was them. Especially since warrens been down in CA this week so he couldn't put in his buck :guilty:

Julie; I see you selling Kino's on the main board  Just love mine.......I love going into the closet and asking myself "hmmmm which kino's should I wear today???" :rotfl2:

I saw the 2007 prices posted and WOW!!!!! :earseek: Guess our funds will be going for dental and Orthodontics :guilty:
