Well, she's done it.
She was up to an hour I have rarely seen her awake,
followed by getting up before 5:00 AM to show she can do it.

While I struggled to stay awake working on the last touches to a website for an organization in Madrid, Didi stumbled through a day of wealth asset management in Boston. (I hope she didn't accidentally add or subtract any zeros today.)

I almost gave up waiting for her at the train station today when she came racing out of the train. She'd almost slept through her stop!

She was going to fix all things on Earth tonight,
and then work for World peace,
but she barely made it past 8:00 PM.

We looked like the chickens in the Far Side cartoon of the
Boneless Chicken Ranch, or like that Salvador Dali painting
of the watches draped over tree branches.

Well, the night is too short and the morning too soon.

Ingrid ~ Airlines bankruptcies SHOULD not have an impact on flights at this late date. I booked with Delta, so I am in the same boat and did some checking. HOWEVER, keep checking to make sure they don't change your ticket reservation. ALSO anyone with "air miles" best use them up.

Julie ~ NO! Work is definitely interfering with my PLAY time. Actually, it is going a little too good. Have missed lunch twice in four days (I forgot!) and time is flying by ... Lotsa things to do for the lazy workaholic.

OBTW, speaking of her, when she called, she let me know they "were going for Chinese Food" ... then I hear this Ship Horn... Where are you I ask? Oh, we're docking in San Francisco ... we're going for CF in Chinatown. SPOILED WENCH!!!

Unfortunately I couldn't determine how to download the whole thread. I figured it would be "cool" to GOOGLE it. OBTW! We are going to reach 200 pages soon! Wouldn't it be cool if 3003 posts happened on the 202th page?

Yes, the bridal party is dressing at the house, then taking a limo to the church. For their honeymoon, they are going to Cuba, but not until November.

We are leaving very very early on the 22nd. Do we win?

Really...Cuba??? Interesting I was just talking to a good friend today (who is from cuba) about her experiences with family who are still there. I didn't realize people wnet there for vacations

Oh man! Survivor started tonight? I missed it. I hardly ever watch tv, but I do like that show. Still. Even though it's like survivor #483948. How many times can they have the challenge of standing still on a log without falling off...I don't know, but I'm going to keep watching!

On survivor there are two people from Kansas! Go Kansas!

Well, as part of my last minute things to do, I've now arranged the house sitter. So my house will be carefully watched over while gone. One time one of our neighbors hired an animal sitting business to come and feed and play with their 3 cats and bird. The house sitter brought her young children with her. The kids turned the knobs to the stove and no one knew it. There was a butcher block close to the stove. The house sitter left around 10 p.m. The butcher block smoldered for several hours. Then the fire started in the middle of the night. House a complete loss. They called our neighbors down in Florida and told them. It was on day 3 or their 7 day vacation. They just stayed in Florida because they knew nothing could be done back home. Needless to say, there was a hefty lawsuit over that one! So I hope my house sitter is better than that!

Gee, I hope my house sitter doesn't mind my cat that Julie showed you a pic of! I guess I won't tell them until they see it. Then they can be happily surprised!

Well, it's rather political. Americans are not allow to travel to Cuba. I don't know if this has changed or not. Probably why most of you haven't heard much about travelling to Cuba. I just don't know much about the politics of it. I do know it's a big vacation spot for Canadians.

Deanna ~ Only thing in this house more spoiled than Chrystina are the CATS. We don't have a housesitter. We have a CAT sitter. Every other day, she comes into sit with the cats for an hour or so.
