How wonderful! Welcome! Ahoy there fellow mateys! It's going to be a great voyage!

Hi all! We have decided on this cruise and are so excited! It will be me (32) dh (38) and DD (5). I'm glad to see other DD's around my daughters age that will be on the ship. Is anyone else going to the parks after or before? We will probably do 3 nights afterwards. Hit MK 2 days and Epcot another day.

How can I get onto the facbook page?

We are waiting on them, too!

This trip is going to be a biggie for us.
Dream cruise, Universal, WDW. Family photo shoot, MNSSHP...

Is it September yet?!? :yay:

I keep looking at the calendar but Sep doesn't seem to be coming any quicker.... :-) cool re Family shoot! We are going to do the Pirates League!

We're going to the parks either before or after the cruise - we're just waiting to hear more about the schedule at the parks for September before we decide for sure! There's no way we can get that close to the parks and not go check out the new Fantasyland - it was almost all behind a wall when we were there last September...

I've been doing some reading and most people seem to think it's better to do the parks first, then the cruise as opposed to the other way around... anyone have their "two cents" to throw in on that debate?

Hi. New fantasyland is great and def worth your attention! We have done both parks before, parks after and in the middle! So far we like either parks before or in the middle. It's nice to have a rest/break on the cruise as it is a different more relaxed atmosphere. I have heard if you have children ( we aren't blessed with little ones sadly ) it is best to do the cruise before. But other people with children might like to confirm this. I think the reason was the wow factor of the parks and the cruise being a different experience.

Fabatsyland is awesome. We were there the week of the soft opening. All the rides were opened except the couple still being built. There weren't as many lines as we thought there would be. I think it actually helps spread the guests in the lark out a little. Dumbo was the only one with a huge lines but you don't have to wait in it. Instead you get to play while waiting. Kids love it!

We were going to go on a 7 night cruise but I couldn't bring myself to book it knowing we won't have time to visit the parks of we did that. There's just something about being in the parks with the rides, the monarails, busses and resorts. Can't get that on a cruise!

Can't agree more! I said to DW only way I am going on a 7 nighter is if we equal that time at WDW. I love both cruise and WDW but couldn't cope with going to Florida and not see Main Street USA. There must be a law against that lol...

:wave2:New to DIS Boards. My family is taking our 1st Disney Cruise on Sept. 22,2013. We are very excited. We would love to join the Fish Extenders program. It sounds really fun. We are not sure how we sign up. Any info would be great! ME:wave2: DH:thumbsup2 DS:bitelip: DDprincess:

Hello! We just recently booked this cruise. It will be myself (Meghan age 30) my DH (Dean age 31) and our DS (Chase age 3). We were originally booked for 3 nights at Disney followed by the 7 night Fantasy cruise but I threw a trip in June into the mix so now we are booked for 2 nights at Boardwalk Villas then the 4 night Dream followed with a 3 night a dream. With decreasing our park days and changing stateroom categories on the Dream it gave me some extra cash to plan the June trip :)

I just requested to join the FB group and we would love to be a part of the Fish Extender exchange! We don't have a stateroom assigned yet, we are a 7A GTY.

So we are less than 6 months out from sailing! I am getting excited! Apart from planning my FE gifts, I am also workingon the gifts for our wedding guests on the cruise! Any thoughts or suggestions for fun things to put in a gift basket for wedding guests, most of whom are sailing for the first time? Also, we live in Orlando, so the DF and I would love to be a part of a pre-departure get together! :-)

I just booked today for my family of 4. This is our 3rd cruise but first as a family of 4. We have a 4 year old son and 19 month old daughter. We are so excited!
