Last September I was asked to plan a family vacation for my parents, sister & her husband, and my brother, his gf and their 1 year old son, and of course DW and I.

I started planning around this time last year and I know they all thought I was crazy for planning so soon. However, after one of the smoothest vacations that I think any of them ever had they all realized that maybe I was on to something and thanked me for making such a special time.

How I wish we were going to Disney as early as all of you here, but still we are in process of planning. Maybe we will have our trip on December, I'm excited and little bit crazy. But we can change our minds every now and then.

We'll be staying at POP for a quick trip but we can't wait. We'll be there 9/21-25.

I am planning a big family vacation to WDW Spetember 26 through Oct. 2nd.

I know I am on the other one but we will be down from September 1 - 10 for our wedding!!!!!!

Thanks for doing this!! I've actually changed my dates, sorry!! 9/14-18 now. And I got my air through Delta direct, they were cheaper than travelocity or expeidia or AAA. It was $188/RT, pretty good!!! So I did it. Looking forward to getting to plan with you all!!

That is pretty good. DH wants to drive, but if I can find airfare that is cheaper we are flying. I'd much rather deal w/ a 3 & 2 yo for 2 1/2 hrs instead of 19 hrs to me to finding CHEAP airfare!

Right now tickets from Nashville to Orlando are $298 round trip. That's too much for me.

I guess I'll just have to wait a few months for Southwest to put their tickets out.

Or.... I might drive. I have driven before, and last year we flew Southwest. The bad thing is that either way I have to do it with just myself and my 4 kids. My DH is out of town a lot for work, and he will be out of town right before our trip. He has to fly to Orlando to meet us. I have driven by myself before, but I have to stop for the night.

19 hours!! I figured if I could get a ticket under $200, I was doing pretty good and the $188 was with tax, fees, etal. I think the ticket was $165 to start with so I thought I did pretty well. I hope you get a deal, I can't imagine doing that drive with little ones!!! But you do what you have to to get to Disney World!!! Good luck!!

Good luck with finding a cheap ticket! I have 3 little ones and can't imagine driving that far with them, although my DH says some day....and I tell him, I"ll fly and meet him there!! He can drive with the boys! LOL!!

My Mom, Uncle, and I are going to WDW September 26-October 1 We are staying at the WL (club level) thanks to the awesome military discount

We're going Sept 25th- Oct 1st provided the economy holds up and DH doesn't lose his job ! Works for Citibank ! We are staying at the Contemporary- got the 40% off PIN!! Have already done Poly and GF and have not stayed at CR since I was a kid. Does anyone have any opinions about CR. I first booked Beach club but we really spend the most time at MK and love the monorail. I am an obsessive planner and cannot stand not yet having the park hours, EMH, dates for MNSSHP, ect... Does anyone else look at the past years and try to guess what they will be and make a whole plan based on these guesses? or am I the only nut? Both of my son's birthday will be during this trip!

Because of the economy we had to change our dates to 9/11-9/19 and move from CSR to Pop. We love Pop but I was so looking forward to CSR. Oh well, I'm going to Disney so I'm happy

We're going to ASMu Sept. 12-19 - can't wait! I was lucky enough to receive a 40% pin code via email so I used that when I booked, but here's hoping for free dining - that would save us way more than 40% off the room!

Looks like we'll be there the same time (we'll be there 9/14-18 but at Pop), hoping for free dining with you!!!!! We weren't as lucky to get a code, so we'll take any help we can get!!
