Important information for anyone traveling from the USA to or through the UK on or after Jan. 8, 2025 (new UK ETA Visa requirement).

I don't remember hearing about the NZeTA from Disney, either. I'm pretty sure I read about it here on the ABD Forum, with folks heading on the early trips talking about needing one.

However, they did make sure we knew about the requirements for a Visa for the China trip, and they recommended an agency for that (CIBT). But that's just info, and it's up to you to make sure you get it.

The NZeTA requirement is listed under the Travel Documentation section of my "handbook". I had already used the NZeTA app to get mine before ABD sent me the handbook link thanks to this forum.

sorry for the questions
I do have the symbol on the front of the passport
however there is sticker on the back that says to scan the QR code for important passport information and travel requirements
so in reading the instruction page it says that if it doenst read the symbol to scan the back but thats where I have this sticker
Im just trying to stay ahead and if I cant get the symblom to scan Id like to know what the nest step is

I wish they would make this easier by doing it the old fashion way I really hate having to navigate things on my phone
as you can see Im not tech savory at all-basically all I want a phone for is taking calls not all this other stuff
so please be patient with me
thanks

If you are having a lot of trouble using the app, there is the option to apply online. Bottom of this page…
https://apply-for-an-eta.homeoffice.gov.uk/apply/electronic-travel-authorisation/help-downloading

You can apply online from a regular computer and skip scanning the passport or your face. Just click the “continue application online” link at the bottom of the above page and then follow the onscreen instructions. You will still need access to a picture of the information/photo page of your passport and a passport/licence style photo of yourself, and you will have to upload those when it asks.

You can also have a friend or relative do the application for you at that link, as long as you send them the picture of your passport info page and the picture of yourself.

Travel Authorization. :) NOT a visa! I see a lot of people on other sites reporting overpaying because they go to sites thinking it's a visa, which they expect to be expensive.

Great link!

Thanks - I’ve corrected the word in my post.
