Sept 2009

Add me to the list please.... We are staying at AsMo from 9/16 to 9/23 and celebrating my sonspirate: birthday!!!

4 more days until I can make ADR's...woohoo!! :yay:How is everyone making out booking theirs so far??:confused3 Wondered how the free dining was affecting things?

Hi! Your info is wonderful. The last times you were there, was it during free dining? I was just wondering if this made it more crowded than normal. What week are you going?

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you! I just looked at your PTR, and we'll be there almost the same exact time. We'll be at BC 9/15-26. Maybe we can meet each other, or at least run into each other!

The last 2 times we were there, it was during free dining. The parks were so NOT crowded, but the restaurants were  If you think about it, the parks hold a whole lot more people than the restaurants do ;) You'll HAVE to make ADR's if you want to do sit-down meals, or you may be stuck with nowhere to eat (I've seen many people turned away who didn't have ADR's).

PM me if you'd like to try to meet one morning (works best for me), or some other time.

Hi all....we have 88 sleeps till Disney and the planning has started..counting down the days till I can make a few dining ressies..crystal palace, play and dine, and chef mickey. already have my ressie for cinderella's breakfast..was so siked to get an early time (8:05)...last time we tried to book it was much later. We (myself, DH, DTS 10, DD7, DS4 and DB6months oh yeah and darling babysitter for the first ressie will be at AKV 9-19, THV 19-22, and BCV 22-24. Just ordered our tickets to MNSSHP and DH and I will be leaving all the kids with DBS so we can do the backstage magic tour on our first full day there....hope she doesn't decide to abandon us after that!!!! Can't wait!!!!!

We will be at CSR from September 5th - September 11th. We can't wait!!!! :cool1:

Ten more days and I can make reservations for our Sept 25th trip! My daughter is really excited about the free dining this year. I enjoyed it last year with a girl friend and it was SO nice! We need to sit down and start narrowing down our choices (plan A - plan B , etc.!) I don't have park hoppers at this point but am considering them since we only have 4 days. It's probably worth the investment.

Sept 5 - 8th at Pop Century for us. Just a quick girls trip with my best friend who has never been to Disney before. I had her pick out where she wants to eat and I was able to get all of our ADR's along with the times we wanted! WooHoo! No trouble at all! Tusker House for Breakfast before park opening. WCC for dinner, Chefs de France for dinner, 50's Prime-Time for dinner.

Hi ,
We are excited..Will be at POR from 9-9-09 until 9-18-09. I can't believe how fast the time is going. We made ADR last week and got all the places we wanted at the times we wanted. Don't know if it's because of the economy or just good luck. We have gone at Christmas all the other times so this will be a first.

My wife, daughter, niece, and I are going 9/19-9/25! Getting ready to make dining reservations. Daughter turned 4 in May and can't wait to meet a princess! :) I'm excited as this is something I can do for my little girl that my parents could never afford. I always wanted to go to Disney when I was young, and dreamed of shaking Mickey's hand and now get to live vicariously through her. I can't wait!!

Just thinking about walking down Main Street hand n' hand with her gets me a little choked up. I'm gonna explode when we actually do it!:cool1: Now we just need to stretch her an inch to get on Splash Mt. shes only 39" in her shoes.

Hi! We are surprising our 3 kids with a trip 9/19-9/26. Can't wait! We are staying at ASMu with the free dining. We've never stayed on-site before, so I'm really excited to give that a try, as well as being able to eat all that delicious food. We can make our ADR's on Sunday, so fingers crossed that we'll get what we want.

Has anyone had any trouble booking the dinner package for Fantasmic? With free dining, is everything usually really full? I know you have to eat a really early times, but with us coming off a 2 hour time difference, I thought we'd treat it like a late lunch.

Hello!

This is my first post to dis and I am so excited to be going to CSR September 23-29.:cheer2:

This will be my 6th visit to the World (4 of which we stayed off site), my DH's 2nd time, my DD10's 2nd time and my DS6's 2nd time (he was 1 the last time we visited). I have only ever stayed at Fort Wilderness in my family's travel trailer so this is like the first time for us staying on site.

I have been lurking here for a while and I appreciate all of the great information! Our day to make ADRs is 6/25.

We are hoping for:

9/24 Chef Mickey (dinner)
9/25 Garden Grill (dinner)
9/26 Tusker House (breakfast)
9/27 HW&V (breakfast) and WCC (dinner)
9/28 Crystal Palace (breakfast)
9/29 'Ohana (breakfast)

I am going to try the online reservations and will post to let you know how it goes.

Congrats on your first family trip! You're going to have such a great time - WDW becomes even more magical when you get to experience it through the eyes of your children.

I'm already half packed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to go! If I hit the lottery tonight I leave immediately! Then I would work there for free - at Epcot!:worship::rotfl:

Hi my names Sam and I am going to the world with Husband Rich, DS 10 and DD 4.
We are leaving on the 17th September and staying for 2 weeks at POR.
It will be my DD 4 first trip, can't wait to see her face.

We have made ADR's for

18th Sep 1900 Park Fare for dinner
18th Sci Fi Diner
20th Rainforest Cafe
21st Garden Grill
24th Raglan Road
29th 50's Prime Time
30th Crystal Palace ( for breakfast before the park opens)

the only ADR that I wanted but couldn't get was for T-Rex.

Thinking about booking MNSSHP, is it worth the extra money?

thanks
sam

Have you tried calling T-Rex directly? You may have more luck doing that (they're not Disney-owned, to they can do their own ressies, too). Their number is 407-828-8739. When I called them, I was basically able to name my time (that was before 90 days out, though). Good luck!
