Hello Ladies. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Are we all done shopping yet? lol Not me.

Anyway, I just wanted to stop by and say hello and thanks to all those who PM'd me the fun icons. I am working on getting them into my signature. I see others have been having fun adding things to their signatures. Cute things too.

My DH kept me hostage on Friday from 8am to 9pm. That man shops like a woman breaking in a new credit card. Funny thing is we really didn't buy much. I just think he gets a kick out of seeing people in such a hurry to spend their money.

He kept saying he wanted to go to this store to look at this and that store to look at that. He drove 45 minutes to one town then another 45 minutes to another and then back to the first town. When we were done I realized I could have driven more than half way to Disney World in the time we were out shopping. My DH laughed when I made that comment too. I was serious too.

I texted Timmy while I was out and got no sympathy just a shopping list of the things she needed so I sent her text pics of all her items. Will was even the model showing off Timmy's new range in one pic. Then she asked if he came with the range and if he had a warranty.

Wow! I've missed loads. Thanks for all the pm's, will try to get them up today. Spent a few days w/ my sister & parents. I am so blessed. Did some shopping on Fri but not much. I worked that day for 20 yrs, had enough of the simpletons. Did pick up a nice new camera & GPS & grill. Burning up the plastic on Amazon though-some great deals. In for another sow storms starting today Boys had sleep over last night, they are worse than girls

Sigh, heading back to work tomorrow. I had half a day off on Wednesday and totally off the last 4 days. It's going to be totally strange going into the office tomorrow. I hope I haven't forgotten how to write code!

I cant fight this feeling anymore... and now I am not singing a tune by Air Supply... I am talking about being sick... finally I lost the battle... I am now home.. call in sick and running a temp... did take alot of cold showers and now have regulated temp to almost normal... I just hate the congestion.. the stuffiness and all that... Ok.. enough whining... I know you have better things to do than read through my aches and pains...:violin: a lil sympathy please.. Ok time to go back under the sheets!!!

Timmie, I will be right over. I can cure most anything. Having me around has been known to make the lame walk, just to get away from me and my singing alone!

Ang, everything comes down to DW for you does it not? Money that could be used for a trip I have heard of but never mileage before. I agree with you though. Just think of how much money, time and energy everyone would save if we just all packed up and went to DW with that being the gift for the family? It is even 'green' as you do not have to wrap it. What kind of guy loves to shop? Mine does too but only for strange things that no normal person would ever like. Is why I shop for myself.

M2E, 0101010101. Remember now? The place that my husband retired from and our daughter works at currently has the right idea. They shut the place down from Christmas until after New Years. This year they even added an additional two days preceding. Nothing is going to be done anyway and if it is done it will probably have to be corrected and redone so you save a lot orf mess this way

Bonz, we are only getting cold and some snow showers. It always seems as if you guys get the worst of the weather here. Last year was an exception when one storm came up from the south though. I hope it goes away quickly and leaves you alone.

Read to the small ones this morning and only had to correct them a few dozen times. Then I was asked to fix a computer. Naturally it had the only OS I have never seen in my life on it. They were doing a dial up on a LAN system. I have a feeling those computers are only used to play Free Cell as no one seems to have a clue about anything else.

Christmas cards nearly done. Mostly because I am sending cyber cards to everyone I have an email addy for. When asked I will say that Al Gore made me do it instead of me being too darned lazy. Now to find a really good cyber card to send.

So, does everyone have their house decorated? I have my tree up, but that is it. I still have two more to go and some other decorations.

Hope everyone had a good Monday! Can you belive it is only what 24 days until Christmas! I need to get busy, I have my christmas gift but no one elses.

Oh, guys!! So sorry to hear about the sicknesses going around here! I put my tree up yesterday and was so excited to put up all the new ornaments I bought in the world ON SALE in March. I had forgotten all the things I'd bought. I got some great deals at that store at Downtown Disney where everything is under 10.00. They were 4 for 10.00 and reg price was 10 to 15 dollars each! Only 17 days till I go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, does everyone have their house decorated?

Not even close. I haven't even pulled things out of the attic yet. I don't decorate until mid-December... somewhere between the 10th & 15th, I guess. DD is already begging me to get everything ready. I just don't like the "clutter" of Christmas decorations and cant' tolerate them for more than 2 weeks. I don't even have that many. My tree is narrow but tall because the room we put it in isn't very large. I don't want it taking up too much space. Outside, we only have 3 lit wicker deer & the porch columns are wrapped with greenery, white lights with red bows at the top. My living room has a piece of twine stretched across one wall/doorway. I draped cards over it. At each end, a wooden sculpture/mask thing of santa & a snowman anchor them to the wall. I guess I'll need to post a picture.
