I posted this on a couple other threads, but just thought I would share here for those waiting . I received my first 40% off PIN code in the mail yesterday. Looks like we may be able to rebook our Sept 09 trip that we canceled.
For those of you trying to figure out who and how people receive PIN's ...mine came under my maiden name..and I have been married 8 years. So they are definately not coming because of any recent ordering of planning DVD's or recent trips.

Yes. If you get free dining you will then have to book at rack rate.

As there will be at least 9 of us going in Sept. I guess dining will be the best deal for us !! How much are reck rates then I think it is value season after Labor Day week!!

So I just wanted to let you all know that I called cause I wanted to see if a pin was attached to my name......told them my first and last name Cm"nope." DH first CM "nope" DSs (just grasping at this point) CM "nope". Then I thought huh maybe my maiden name. CM "YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I am soo happy right now I could burst.

So if you are calling for a pin code make sure to ask about your maiden name if you have one!

We just returned from a two week long november trip. We usually can't afford two trips so close together, but had such a magical experence(DD first trip!)DH said he's gonna make it happen. We are trying for September 09.We usually go when it's to cold ( at least for us southerners) to swim and DS is dying to try a water park. So we're keeping our fingers crossed that some awesome deals come out for 09/09.

I just got a 40% off code via email. I called my TA cuz I read in the fine print it's for other resorts too but it looks at 1st glance it's for Value Resorts. I'm excited but confused!

Are the PIN codes only a US thing? Is it worth me signing up to get the US planning dvd (have the english one) to see if that gets me a PIN?

So I haven't been keeping up with this as well as I should...did you call the Disney Guest Information number?

I have been hoping for a code and haven't recieved one yet but we've done a lot of moving so maybe I should give them a call.

Does anyone know how Disney choses who gets the pin codes? I haven't gotten any yet !! I could really use it for our upcoming trip. I don't think I've ever gotten a pin code since we've become Disney finatics in 2005. Thanks!

My TA called me back. Told me she couldn't get me the code for CSR CL like we had already booked but for $200 less we could get a SV room at AKL!! Holy cow!! So we are booked at AKL SV room for Sept 20-25.

Disney phone lines busy?? I have tried and tried for 2 days and I keep getting a busy signal! I've tried all of the Disney numbers I know! Is anyone else having this problem?

Also--Holly---we are going September 10th-15th staying at Caribbean Beach-in the new pirate rooms!

Yup you aren't the only one. Keep calling back right away, sometimes you'll get lucky and will get through an open circuit.

I actually got 2 pin codes--one to each email address, after I had already booked my room under my mom's pin code! The operator was shocked.

I really wish they would let you keep the pin code rate with free dining though. That would be a ridiculous discount--but I went ahead and booked that 40% off room just in case...

OK. I know this is off topic but this is the thread I am watching the most right now. Plus, I don't know where else to ask this.

Can't get my ticker to work. Went to the website, followed instructions exactly but only the code shows up at the bottom, not the ticker.

Any suggestions? TIA!

I have been hoping for a code w/ no luck and I was always afraid cause I moved alot in my late 20s so I thought maybe it was getting sent to my old address. I don't know if this is ethical but I call and say that I rec'd a postcard the other day (even though I didn't...that's the I'm not sure if it's ethical part) and now I mis-placed it can you find out what my code was...they say yes. Ask you last name and first. If you do not have a pin they do not give you one. I called twice and never had one under my married name. I don't know why I asked for it under my maiden I just figured couldn't hurt ya know! And there it was 40% CM that helped me name was RAY I don't think I'll ever forget that He was my "ray" of sunshine that day. Poly has been a dream of mine for a LLLLLOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGGG time!
