I just added a day to our trip, so now we're 9/1-9/11. I couldn't resist it since I have the 40% off code. Ten days of Polynesian fun plus deluxe dining, I am SOOOO excited!!!

I sure wouldn't be doing that length at that resort if it wasn't for the code.

just got back from the world! we had a bounceback offer for 30% off at deluxe resorts, so we booked another trip for 9/26-10/3!

Add us to the list! A few months ago I booked a split stay for Sept 12-20 (3 nights AKL CL and 5 nights Poly CL) with my AAA for 15% off. I was hoping for something better so today I called Disney to see if they had a code under my name and they did for 40%!!
It wasn't available for AKL CL so I switched that to a regular savanna view room but the code was available for the Poly CL! I saved $999.74!
I really wanted the 40% more than the free dining and hopefully we'll be able use the Poly CL for lots of meals.

I don't know when or if I would have gotten anything form Disney about my code so CALL them- you never know!

Well we got the %40 off code, thank goodnes, actualy my mom got it via email, I was thinking of not going until this! My parents went with us last time and seem like they want to try again for this year. I am going to book this week, my mom has to have her back operated on tommorow so I have been a little preoccupied but she wants to go so I am going to get thigs set up this week. I just called and there was nothing under my name but there was one under my husbands!!!! So we got 2 rooms at 40% OFF for our trip! I couldn't be more excited... Thank you so much for that advice, it really helped make a big difference! Woo Hoo.

Disney phone lines busy?? I have tried and tried for 2 days and I keep getting a busy signal! I've tried all of the Disney numbers I know! Is anyone else having this problem?

Also--Holly---we are going September 10th-15th staying at Caribbean Beach-in the new pirate rooms!

The 40% off is a special code (like a coupon) that Disney randomly gives to people either in their mailing or email list. This code is only good for the room part of your stay.

Free dining is a promo that Disney usually (3 or 4 years running) does from mid August until almost the end of September. The promotion is announced in either late March or early April. You pay 'rack' room rate and there is a set number of rooms at each resort - so it almost always books up fast, especially at the values.

Which one is a better deal not only depends on where you're staying but the number of people in your party.

I have a question.....if we either do the free dining or if we get the 40% off code.....can I book either of those (whichever saves more money) to two reservation? Reason is, DH and I will be going for 5 nights by ourselves and then my girls will fly out (dh will go home) for 4 extra nights, so I will have two reservations.

Can I use these on two reservations?

Sign up for every Disney mailing list you can get your hands on. Make sure you register at Disney.com and say yes you want special offers. Call Disney Reservations and make sure they have a current mailing address for you. And then cross your fingers and hope for the best.

Called today to see if we had a PIN code ..............no luck
But the CM said that there was usually some broad discounts that are available for Aug and Sept.......so it's back to waiting and planning

I actually received a code in the mail early January and it didnt work out to my benefit... weird.... I called today and got a price of $1391.00 w/ a code (5 days, 4nights @ CBR, 4 day base ticket + dining)the girl told me was 40% off... when I went online to check the price off thier website it was only a $9.00 difference... (same days, same dining & the girl quoted me 4 day base tickets and the computer was 5 day base tickets)... i dont know y; so I called up to find out why and she said she didnt know... I am so upset over this but I know what will be will be. I cancelled the reservation because to me it doesnt make sense to pay more for something that is supposed to be cheaper!! When I checked the prices for the value's the price was cheaper online then the girl gave me over the phone!

So now my quest is to join my other fellow dis'ers in hopes for a code that actually saves me money!
