Hello!
We are going in September again this year. Our dates fall within the 12th thru the 28, depending on what is available once I make our reservations.
So looking forward to it.

Hello everyone, I was wondering something about Sept. We just came back from a mid Dec stay at ASmovies (6 nights) stay. It was awesome, but we did get really homesick (Thinking because of it being 6 nights AND the week before CHristmas...which we are used to the snow and it was beautiful that week...sounds strange I know! lol). ANyway, we are thinking about another trip, dh could probably wait another year to start planning, but if the price is right, we might go anywhere between sept-jan). Ok, so my question is this. It was nice and hot in Dec...what would it be in SEpt?? I don't want to smolder. it was about 83 I think while we were down. About 33Celsius which us Canadians are used to. Gorgeous. When does the free DIning end? ANybody know the exact dates? ANd which dining package does it include since the dining packages have changed? There are so many circumstances that take effect, but sept is the better bet cost wise as we can drive to the states and fly out (7 hr drive then the flight but the savings is a lot) We got stuck in bad weather 2 times this past trip with a canceled flight because of snow up this way. We would have to fly out of home in Dec-Jan which is (at cheapest) is about $2000 Canadian...4 seats.
Just trying to get all my information together. Was also wondering if it is very slow the week after your guys' Thanksgiving.

Oops, we're changing resorts! Planning on the Polynesian now! (woohoo)

Man I had better start saving my pennies! :) (and dollars, and hundreds, and.......you get the picture)

So this is my first vaca that I am on disboards. I found out about disboards maybe a month before I went on my sept 09 trip. I don't know how I did it w/o you all :lovestruc So anyway we have a bounceback w/ free dining for Poly. And I know that is a good offer but I am subscribing to this thread in the hope and a pray that I will get a pin code or hear something about something on here.

Well I guess yesterday there was an "outbreak" :rotfl: of pin codes and I didn't get one :confused3 :headache: :sad1: I know I know its just a chance but when I saw all these people get 40% off codes and I didn't get one it broke my heart.

I know this is silly to feel that way and I am really happy for those that got one I just wish I was that someone too. Anyone else get this way! Maybe it was better when I didn't know about disboards and was oblivious (sp?) to pin codes :confused3

How are they getting pin codes? Are they calling WDW or getting an email? :)

Well September is definately hot. Begining of Sept is usually in the mid to upper 90's end of Sept is upper 80's to low 90's. In most years it will rain about 30 mins every afternoon. In the past Sept has been extremely low crowds for the parks however DISer's have been reporting increasesd crowd due to Free Dining. But it is still considered low attendance. I'm not sure on the Free Dining dates. I'm sure one of the other posters who booked FD as a bouncback can answer that question for you.

I hope that they will offer free Dinning Im keeping my fingers crossed, we schould find out the dates some time in April.

Well, my dates just changed a week.....Still september, but instead of 19th through 26th, we'll be there 12th through 19th. Dh says he dont want to take DD out of school too late in the year????? OMG ITS A WEEK!!! LOL. anyhoo, still debating on what hotel to get....its between Pop and Port Orleans french quarter....

Ok Really stupid question. Please don't hate me for asking. If I book our disney stay in sept before they announce free dining will we still get it??

no, one code is all they will allow. You should sit down and really work the numbers to see if the 40% code is better or if free dining is better. From what I have seen, free dining is the better deal if you are staying at the value resorts. Not sure about the mods but I think I read somewhere the 40% was a better deal if staying at a delux. Good luck....
