SEPT 2009 code watch

Subbing.....

holding out for free dining for September, keeping our fingers crossed, we have 12 in our group this year and that would be the best savings for us.

I'm stiil hoping for Free dining too! We will be at least 9 possibly11or 14 So that would definately be our best savings !!We plan to upgrade to deluxe !!

Hello, have you all booked already? I usually would book already, but cannot due to my DH's layoff. We are going to be "last minute-er's" this time- when DH's gets a new job is what will be the deal breaker- when the free DDP promo starts,we'll book. I am hoping for Carribean Beach, or even Wilderness lodge(ha)-but we are so frugal and LOVE ASmovies. So~we'll see!

Sorry about your DH layoff. My DH was also just laid off a couple of months ago and just found a great job (that's always nice when you get laid off and find a better job than the one you got laid off from!)

We did book already but that was cause we got a bounceback. And when DH lost his job I thought why cancel it when I can just cancel it in August if I really need to. I mean if you have that extra money you could book it now and then if DH situation doesn't get better you could cancel it in August. Or maybe wait for a last minute deal!

I hope your DH finds a job soon...(i was looking for a crossing fingers but I can't seem to find one...so....) :flower3:

Hi.

I'm trying to plan our first-ever trip to Disney World for me, my Mom and my Aunt and my first-ever vacation with my Mom. My Mom won't help me plan. She keeps putting it off saying "I'll look at it later". Having an 18-year-old plan your trip.. Haha, not really a good idea. Good thing I'm not in charge of her money. :rotfl: There's loads of stuff I would want to add. It all seems so wonderful!

We were thinking about going September 1st, 2009 [not sure how long we'd stay yet] for my Mom's birthday which is September 2nd. I would want to go for my birthday, but it's in February and there's NO WAY we could get up money that soon, unless we sold some body parts or organs.

We haven't booked anything yet. Mom said we can after the 1st of the year. I've been reading this board and other websites since early September, so I would like to think I know what I'm doing and that I can totally plan an awesome and semi-inexpensive trip that won't make my Mom struggle with trying to save money, but I'm still new to this, no matter how much I read, and I just want to find the best deal possible.

I've been saving change. I like counting and rolling it. I think Mom's going to try and save her tips from some of her jobs and give them to me to hold [She knows I won't spend it] and I think she'll save some money on her debit card each month.

Any luck with the codes? My TA will be booking in the next couple of weeks!!!! SO excited!!!!

Sounds like you're off to a good start! Welcome!
My teenage dd and I are good planning partners, so I, for one, know that a teenager can plan very well. :thumbsup2

When do we expect to see discount codes?:wizard: princess:

Sept. sales have usualy broken the beginning of April. I don't remember there being any earlier ones, if you don't count the bouncebacks.

Have fun planning :cool1: :cool1:

Thanks! I love planning this. It's fun! I just wish my Mom would help. :rotfl: I basically have everything planned out, but I need my Mom's say on things like how many nights we'll stay, which dining plan to use, which resort to stay at, and so much more! It's her money, you'd think she'd want to have some say in things.

Personally, I want to stay at All-Star Movies. The two-story characters look AWESOME!! Though, if we had the money, it would to cool to stay somewhere with a view of the castle at night. That would be amazing. So magical. :wizard: pixiedust:

Have fun planning :cool1: :cool1:

I am and I totally will!:upsidedow

Hi guys! :)

My OH and I are having a 201 WDW wedding, and he has agreed for a pre pre-planning trip in September! :)

Would be great for us to get some ££ off to save towards the wedding! :)

Anyone know if UK guests get sent Pins for getting the planning DVD?

I have bounceback free dining, but what's the best deal you have seen for Animal Kingdom Lodge? Should I keep checking or in Free dining pretty much the best thing out there? Saying the 9/19 7 nights. 3 adults.

Hi all, I am planning a trip for September 19th through the 26th. Earlier if free dining is available....OR the 40% off code.....Ive never gotten lucky enough to get a code like that. It would be great for my family. Maybe we could stay at a different hotel instead of the values we have come to LOVE....Can't wait to see what comes up!!!

I am in the same boat. Would love to know what people think about that!

Hi Everyone I've been lurking !! I am busy planning my May Solo Trip or trying to .With the adrs now being at 90 days permanently and the May calander not up ,it has put a huge crimp in my plans !! Causes me to keep changing my mind and comeup with new strategies !!:rotfl2:

I'm planning a trip for Sept 24-Oct 5th. For a Grand Gathering of 10! Can't Wait!

We are part of the Sept migration in '09! I booked our YC - CL bounce back during our early December trip. We are booked from the 19-26, but I'm hoping to add a couple of days when we get a bit closer [and I've had a bit more time to work on DH :)

I was just wondering, I've read that the bounce-back deal is the best thing going, but mine was for 30% a deluxw & I know that sometimes pins get sent out for 40%. Does this mean no 40%s for Deluxe? Maybe BB isn't the "best"?:confused3 Ideas? I'll take the booking I have, but if I can do better....
