I wanted to share with you all what is happening now...
We went to start our 3rd IUI cycle on Saturday and they found cysts, probably left over from the fertility medicine from the last IUI...this is normal and just delays the IUI until they disappear, normally by next month. However, doc told me that if they are not "hormone producing" then we can start right away. A blood test confirms it.
So I'm bawling my eyes out on the drive home but there's nothing we can do until we get the results. I get a call later in the day and nurse says they cannot start the IUI cycle because..... I am 4 weeks pregnant! WHAT?!!!
But I had my period -- maybe not quite as heavy but it was definitely there. The nurse said that some women can have their period for up to 16 wks and still be pregnant. I never heard of such a thing. My HCG count was 111 (pregnant is considered 25).
Yeah, happy, happy, joy, joy. I am completely in shock!!
So I get a 2nd blood test on Monday and we just got the results today. My HCG count went down to 72.
I go tomorrow for another blood test to see if my HCG count goes back up...I admit right now I'm feeling pretty angry and hurt. I feel like it's a big, cruel joke.
BUT I know God has plans for good for us...and will trust Him with our baby --either here on earth or in heaven. I know we are all in His hands.
Anyway, I guess I'm writing this as part of my therapy -- writing down my thoughts to help make them real to me.
Thanks for listening.
Wow Marshay, that is really something! I hope and pray that you have a healthy baby growing inside of you and that you and baby will be just wonderful!!! I know right now you are mad, hurt, angry and as well you should be. Let it all in God's hands as you said and see what happens from here. I will be praying for all of you. Please keep us posted and know that we all truly care very much. Glad Bless You!!!

) and see that she has already collected several LGMH on her keychain -- cool!
