Sept 2007 My Affair w/Mickey -- Complete!

Oooo, a packing list, count me in!

I got the DVC book and it's beautiful really. Hardback with great pictures but the AKL are sketches. It's neat but I am still trying to get DH to look at it.

I looked for the accordian folders and couldn't find any. I did buy our ponchos, hand sanitizer, and AA batteries today though. 2 bags packed and 3 to go. DH packs his own.

Oh, too bad on the accordian book...it was on clearance so I guess it wasn't that popular.

Wow, you have 2 bags packed already ... congrats!!

Wow, you even put it in alphabetical order!!!:lmao: You're so organized!! I need you to pass me some of those skills!:rotfl:

Very cool! I'm in Ashburn, which is just west of Dulles Airport. And I grew up in Reading/Mt. Penn, PA. What section of PA are you in? My parents and sister now live in Blandon/Fleetwood and my aunt is in Allentown.

Hey, can you post/send a pic of yourself? I'd love to look out for you on the 17th and 19th! Woo Hoo!! You are the first person who has the same days as me...

Not sure if I know where Ashburn is, but I know where the airport is! I'm always down that way going to concerts at Jaxx or at the Nissan Pavilion. I'm about 60 miles east of Pittsburgh, near Johnstown. My brother in law is from Allentown.

Our dinner isn't until late on the 17th...I think its 8:05. So I know we'll be in Epcot, just not sure if its gonna be a whole day thing. One the 19th, we're definitely going to MK in the morning, because our lunch reservation is 12:30, I think.

Anyways, this is me. I have more pics posted on Cherbear's thread, too.

Ok I gotta ask...

What is the duct tape for? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well, you know we have that one night where my parents are babysitting....:rolleyes1

Seriously, I read another report that talked about having stroller issues and they used duct tape to repair it until they could get it fixed. We've also had a suitcase get a 4" rip in it from the airplane -- duct tape could fix that! You can hang a sheet from the ceiling to help divide up a room or block the sunlight from the curtains, ec.

Duct tape can be used for anything!!! :rotfl2:

My dad used to go to Johnstown about 4 times a year for his job (he worked with Pa State Rehabilation offices). We were there shortly after the BIG FLOOD! I remember walking into the lobby of the hotel and the carpets were still "squooshy". I was quite young but I do remember that -- and coming down the long, steep icy hills and praying we didn't go off the roads (Fractville??)

Well, I hope to see you on the 19th. On the 17th we're just going to eat CS at UK and then go ride surreys on the boardwalk.

I hope you're talking about the '77 flood, cause you certainly don't look old enough to have been around for the '36 flood or the 1889 flood.:lmao: I was born right before that (77), so I don't remember it at all. Unfortunately, we still have to deal with the steep icy hills every winter. I hate driving in that mess!

Cool!:cool1: I'll keep an eye out for you on the 19th!:goodvibes

Wow....you have a lot of stuff on your packing list

How many bags you taking??:rotfl2:

I can;t believe you alphatized it...you are so organized:thumbsup2

Yeah, it is mostly alphabetized...I'm anal that way....the only ones that aren't are the ones I modified -- got to fix that!!:lmao:

I'm hoping to do one large suitcase, one smaller one, one carryon and my purse. DH will have another large one.

So 4 suitcases for the 3 of us!

When I told DH I wanted to just do 3 suitcases, he laughed at me...

My DH laughed at me too. :rotfl2: I wonder how many bags SW will let us check per person? I really need to find out some of these logistical things. ;)
