Sept 20,2011 Wonder Repositioning Cruise

Is anybody on Amtrak (510) 7:40am Monday train to Vancouver? My DW and I are having a blast...what a beautiful train ride. I'm bringing plenty of 's to declare at customs

Uh-oh...I think they'll get confiscated at the border. You'll have to stock up on Canadian once you're in Vancouver!

I can only hope...

See you all tomorrow! We will be wearing our Mickey Tie Dye shirts, and probably be way too early in line, haha. If you see us come say hi, don't be offended if we don't recognize you right away, I'm really bad at remembering names!! But please come say hi if you see us, we will also be at the meet in the promenade lounge. Hoping to catch the spa tour though, so might be a couple minutes late.

So excited, I'm reminded of the Disney commercial where they are all too excited to sleep! That will be me tonight!

Tara and I are lazing it up at the Sheraton. Already saw Amy (aka Aja55) and her Mom Annie on the customs line...it was such a nice surprise...looking forward to meeting everyone!

Sunday we took Amtrak Coast Starlight from Eugene, OR to Seattle. We met Heather (camonkey girl) and John (grumpygoat), and Brenda (cadznychc) on the train.
On Monday we took Amtrak Cascades from Seattle to Vancouver and met Taaren and Alex on the train.
Ramada Limited is good and we toured along the Waterfront and saw the Disney Wonder in the distance.
Sorry we missed the Pan Pacific meet. We saw Heather and John later near the hotel.
Hope to see everyone at the 3 pm Dis meet on the ship.
Looking forward to lunch on the cruise ship tomorrow.

I can't believe it but we still aren't finished packing, leaving in 3 hours and its still open on the bed. Just a few last little things then off to meet Mom and we are on our way.

Sitting here waiting for our shuttle!!! Just loved the Landis Hotel. Lots of space for the four of and the price was unbelievable!!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Disfriends - I decided to go on a bicycle ride this morning and had an extremely bad fall which resulted in a severe clavicle fracture and I only received a sling for treatment. going to see an ortho specialist tomorrow. i still plan on going on the trip just going to be in a lot of pain.

Glad you were able to make the trip Luis. Hope you get that bone taken care of soon.

FE gifts are FINALLY done!!! OMG! I thought I'd NEVER finish!!! But, I did!!!

Sadly though, I must say... between planning a wedding, packing, moving, looking for a job in Seattle, making the FE, and making the other FE gifts for everyone, the necklaces did not get finished. I'm sorry to those who asked for one, and I really, really, really did try, but I just had WAY too much else going on, and the other FE gifts that I made took longer than I thought they would, and we ended up with more people in the FE exchange group than I was anticipating, so they just didn't get done. So sorry, but I've got LOTS else to give in the exchange! Just not the necklaces.

Pam, I think we all understand about that one.

ME as long as I don't have to wait in that Customs line again. John and I got lucky and were pulled into Secondary... I think what made it a lot more fun was meeting everyone in person.

OK ...leave it you you Rosie to be the first to post after the cruise! So did Tara meet up? Loved meeting you all.

And yes we did a rebooked on board. Don't know when we'll go again as next year is planed for New Orleans in the spring and the WDW in the fall during the Food and Wine Fest. (anyone have WDW vaca points for October?)

OK ...as we where first timers....

Best: Palo's was wonderful. And the ladies that we ate at our four top were fun to meet even if they were not of the Dis.

My wife and I had a wonderful time meeting all of you and thank you for all of the wonderful FE gifts. So really amazing gifts and they gave me great ideas for the next time we take a disney cruise. I also learned that i should probably include a note with the gift. Of course I had to go had and plan it while I was on vacation so its kind of exciting to know its already scheduled. Yeah December 2012!

Also just wanted to get feedback on the gifts I gave. So I know if I should change them up or stay a similar path. The pin with the our board logo on it. A blank disc for you to put your photos/videos when you get home. Coloring book and crayons for those young children. Were these good gifts? Thanks for the input and being part of wonderful cruise.

And as a bragging Dad I also have to state that while we were at LAX waiting for the flight home my daughter Holly decided it was time to start walking so it was exciting day even though we were heading home.

Loved all the gifts!!! Some were SOOO creative - others quite yummy & some that were fun and then so nice to get some useful ones as well!!! Justin - loved the pin & the CD will be great to store my cruise photos - such great ideas!!!!

LOVED Vancouver & Victoria....just breathtaking beautiful!!! Wasn't as thrilled with the stormy, cold & rainy sea days but as you know - there is ALWAYS something fun to do on a Disney ship!!!! I am looking forward to my Jan 2nd Mex Riviera & hoping there is a LOT more sun!!
Ensenada was fun as well (& we finally had sun again) ~ we went horseback riding up on the mtns overlooking their beautiful bay~
