Sept 20,2011 Wonder Repositioning Cruise

Will be great to see you and Terry again, Steff!!

Marc and I are wishing that we hadn't booked our flights as early as we did. Would have loved cruising up from Seattle with Princess. Didn't even think that one through, but glad many of you did! Hope you enjoy their ship. I worked for Princess shoreside as a temp for about 4 years (before they were swallowed by Carnival) and really thought it was a great product.

And you will LOVE the villas at the Grand. And Club 33....well, it's one of my favorite places! We'll be there the following week after we return from the MR cruise. Since you'll be going on a Sunday there will be characters up there, too, so don't forget the cameras!!

See you in just over a month!
Michael

So excited to see you and Marc again. I didn't know Princess was taken over by Carnival! So many mergers. United and Continental merged. Seems like once a month we get a flight number change.

I really wish we could have done the back to back MR cruise too, but I need to be back for a board meeting. Boo hoo! :guilty:

My camera will be surgically attached! Can't wait! See you next month....:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

Michael,,,,Stephanie and I are uber excited!!! I had had a hellacious week too so getting the documents was a very fantastic end to my week. Plus my youngest son and his wife had had a son last Friday and it was a very difficult birth. He was not breathing for almost five minutes and after time spent in nic icu he was able to come home yesterday. :cool1:

I haven't been to Disneyland since 1968 so I know I will be looking at it with new eyes. Club 33??? How cool is that!!!!:thumbsup2

Plus we are having friends coming with us who love Disney but have never done a Disney cruise so this will be fun showing them the best time ever.

Hope your Grandson continues to fight. Glad to hear that he is has come home.

No cruise docs yet. :sad2:

Maybe FH got them?

Yeah they came today... I don't have to camp next to the door any more.

Justin

PS for those who haven't gotten theirs yet I hope they come soon.

I know a few of us here are getting on board for a 12-day cruise, but are any of the B2Bers also on the Sapphire Princess from Seattle to Vancouver on Sept. 18?

Also, we got our cruise docs for this one on Friday. Still waiting for the MR docs and a room assignment on the Princess.

Why do I continue to stare at my cruise documents? Time seemed to move faster when I was not thinking about the trip every few hours.

Hi Repositioners,

I have a question about passing of FE gifts.

I have several items that I want to give out and don't want to bag all together. I was wondering if most of you will have your FE's out on the last night ? Since we are only on the ship for 5 nights, I'm wondering if I should just do 4 and skip the last night? I thought of something fun for last night, especially for those that are going on to Disneyland...but don't want to have a FE gift to pass out on night 5 only to find that everyone has packed their FE away. Let me know what you think ?:tink:

We were told that we could get a room assignment or upgrades up to two days before the cruise. That is for the Princess cruise. Once I signed up on their site, I can download the boarding pass and luggage tags from there.

I wonder if FH got our cruise docs yet?! I HATE living 2,000 miles away from him! LOL! Well, for another 29 days anyways! :yay:
YAY for only 29 days left - how the heck did you two meet anyway???? Hope you'll bring some pics (even if on your camera or phone) of the wedding for us to seee :)

Ditto on the documents as well. It's time to get excited.:donald::dumbo::tigger::goofy::mickeyjum
OH YES it is!!! Soooo looking forward to meeting you & Donna!!! I think we're going to have some FUN!!!!

I did wait. They were addressed to her. I don't open her mail...

(The bananas had to die...)
for a Grump...you're hilarious - but a good hubby!!!!!

After a hellacious work week, it was a real joy to come home and find my cruise docs.:love:

I looked at our itinerary and what a wonderful trip have we planned! :cool1::cool1: Our five day cruise has doubled in size. We start out with a stop in Seattle. I've never been there, so new to me. Then we have the one day Princess cruise on my birthday. Never cruised with Princess. Then we have one night in Vancouver. I've never been to Vancouver. :cloud9: Then we have our five night cruise. Never cruised the Pacific. Kool!

Then we are finishing up with a bang. Going to the Grand Californian and my very first trip to the spot where Walt walked, Disneyland. Lunch at Club 33. All new to me.:cloud9::love::cloud9: How cool is that?

I am so excited for this trip. :yay::yay::yay::yay::woohoo::woohoo:

Oh you WILL LOVE CLUB 33!!! we are having lunch there this friday - going down early that morning - spending friday in the park - lunch with my 3 friends at the Club (they have never been) and then the Expo on Sat!!! Definitely a weekend to help pass the time...well actually i have filled EVERY weekend between now & our Amtrak trip - work is always busy so my next few weeks will fly by!!!!

No word from TA yet if docs were mailed :(

He's from here. He got a promotion in January and had to move to Seattle. And I'm not sure if we'll have pics on our phones because I'm not sure we'll have them on us. Wait - I'm talking about FH here. Yes, he'll have his phone on him, and he'll definitely get some pics on it! LOL! :rotfl:

Yep! Both of us have sisters in So Cal, so I imagine we'll be making frequent trips down that way. ::yes:: Seattle is gorgeous! You should definitely visit and sight-see the city! Yes, it rains a lot, but it really gets a bad rap for that. It doesn't rain ALL day, everyday like it does here in Missouri. It's green all year round, it rarely gets below 35 degrees, and rarely gets above 80 degrees. Perfect if you ask me! LOL! And there's lots to see and do there! You should definitely go sometime! :)

The best part is that it doesn't even rain all that much. We tell people it rains all the time and portray Seattle as rainy in movies like "Sleepless in Seattle" because we don't want I-405 to be any busier than it already is ;) It is usually overcast and rains a bit each day from November thru April; but she's right, when it does rain, it's a light rain that lasts a few hours. Torrential downpours are a rare sight up here, but you didn't hear that from me ;)

However, from May thru October, perfect weather...Sunny and partly cloudy almost every day with temperatures ranging from 55 at night to 80 at the hottest during the day :) I think you'll love it. And yes, I am sure FW and I will be making lots of trips to LA, but summer trips to LA will be few and far between, because that's the best time to visit Seattle ;)

BTW, the train is supposed to be awesome. I can't wait to take it to Vancouver. The Cruise is just about a month away :)

You can say that now, but you haven't met me in person. You may change your mind after that... :teeth:

4 is more than enough, but I thought I'd answer your question about the FE.
Most people will probably leave them out until it's time to pack up the last night. So if you were early enough on the last night it should be fine.
Some might even leave them out until the last morning (we are going to Disneyland after and so it won't matter to have an extra item in our "carry-off" bag that day). I want to keep my FE and magnets up as long as possible because I like the decoration :)

Does this look right? A list of all the Dis'ers with those participating in the FE's at the top in room no sequence....I want to have my gifts all in order....
