Sept 19th,2004 revisited.....

Well I tried as hard as I could to have a slow, quiet weekend. But alas it was not to be. However I got a lot of stuff done around the house. I have a 4 day weekend next weekend and I have promised myself that I will do as little as possible. I am so ready for my cruise. Actually I am ready to be in the parks. Don't get me wrong I love the cruise but I could really use some WDW magic. I hope everyone had a great weekend. And hey Eric may not have waited on me but he did give me a great early valentines gift.

It's such a great monitor. With all the hidden mickey's you can tell it's mine! :earboy2:

Amanda, I love your new monitor. We're electronic geeks too and we love gadgets, gizmos, and more. Nice screen size too.

You guys won't believe what happened to us on Sat.. We went to Best Buy to check on our computer (under warranty) that we turned in shortly after Christmas for Geek repair. We were expecting another story about the wrong part being ordered or that the part they ordered didn't fit. Well, they junked it. All they had to do was work on CD drive and they ended up breaking it. So, poor us had to pick out a new unit (most comperable) to what we had. So, sad. There's this new unit by Toshiba that's $449. It was the most comperable and better than what we had (the replaced machine was 3yrs. old). So, we walked out w/ the last computer in the store. Brandon said if they didn't give us that one we would've gotten the next higher up unit....darn! But, Brandon's very happy with what we got.

Congrats on the new unit, but I hope you didn't lose a lot on information from the old one. We are very much techno geeks. We love all the bells and whistles on our electronics, even if we don't use them all.

Brandon backed up all the data before taking it in. Whew!Thank goodness! Your monitor is so pretty and the picture Ahhhhh

Congrats to both of you! I love your new monitor, Amanda. We got rid of our "deak computer" when we moved and we each mainly use our laptops so no monitor for me. Except at work. And I have no say there. Good news for you, Taeja! A new computer replacing your 3 year old one. Brandon was smart to back everything up before bringing it in.

Hello!!!! Bet you guys thought I was gone for good, huh? NOPE!! Just a few things going on. I went to visit my sister for a few weeks to help her deal with some issues (depression) and just got back last week. I was sooooooo glad to see her and it definitely lifted her spirits to see us (me, Mom, Krystina and POCAHONTAS!!). Pokie was definitely very glad to see her little Boston "cousins" and misses them dearly! Loved the time I got to spend with my sister & her family, but it does feel good to be home.

Amanda01: How is Mason doing? How old is he now? Any idea how much he weighs? Pokie is now 1 yr and weighs about 22 lbs. We just got her spayed last week but you'd never know she had surgery. She's running wild like always! Do you have a problem with him "marking"? The reason I ask is because I've found a 2 1/2 yr old male Boston locally that needs a forever home! I'm supposed to see him on Saturday. I would LOVE to bring him home, but I've never had a boy dog before. He was surrendered and was an outside only dog (don't know how anyone could do that to him poor thing!) so they are working on house training him. I know Pokie was a snap to train, but she was a puppy. Let me know how things are going with Mason, please.

T: did you get your ebay business started? I still have not listed any of my stuff! Guess I would actually need to be home to get that done, huh?

So glad to see everyone is doing well. Glad to be back!!

What a nice surpise! So sorry your sister is in a rough spot right now. It's no fun dealing with depression.

I'm slowly working on getting my Ebay business together. I'm washing all the clothes and sorting out those for listing and those for garage sale. I can't believe how much my eldest dd threw up. There's one outfit where she got the back of the outfit. I'm listing known and some less known brand labels. I may list my son's items in lots. I don't want to think about my boy's clothes until the girls' clothes are gone.

So, glad to see our post! Welcome home!

Glad to see you back, Krystinasmommy! I am sorry that your sister is having a rought time. I went through 2 rough boughts of depression myself when I lost my girls. Its a hard thing to deal with. I'll say a prayer for her and send her some :grouphug: ! Anyone have special Valentine plans? Nothing for me. I just got home from work and my DH just went out the dor to work. We are having a "delayed" Valentine date night next week. :woohoo:

We won't be going out. I bought my DH a new wedding band w/ bling bling and zing zing went our dough.

I'm laughing now too. :lmao:

Cyndi, I like your new signature line! Its beautiful!

T, your so hip, throughing out all that slang!

Leonor, it's great to see you again. Mason is doing great. He was fixed about 3 months ago. We have been really lucky that he never marked. He did have his accidents but now those have passed. He mucst weigh about 15 lbs by now. We had to change up his diet. He was eating as much as he could and Eric and I weren't paying too much attention to it and it turned out we were feeding him a few times a day. I can't wait until we get a house so we can get him a playmate. He loves playing with other dogs, but more that one dog in our current home would be unfair to the cats.

Cyndi I am so dense! I just noticed your new name tag. Very pretty!

Thanks Amanda! Taeja, I love the picture! Did you create it?

No, I didn't create the pic. One of our fellow cruiser's son's did. Make sense? I'm hoping this will be our cruise groups theme shirt design. I love seeing Goofy in the sand instead of in the water.
