Sept 19th,2004 revisited.....

Happy Birthday! No wait that's wrong! MERRY CHRISTMAS! I swear I am like a little kid. I woke up at 5:30 and we don't even have kids. I tried to bribe DH with pormises of a nap later and coffee now, but he wasn't going for it. Well I hope everyone has the Christmas they wished for!

My eldest DD woke up first and looked through the spindles downstairs. I kept hearing "hee hee hee's" as she looked at the boxes around the tree. She ran around the house plugging in all the indoor christmas light including the tree of course. She was still making the "hee hee hee" sounds. It was so much fun watching her be so excited. We got home from church and took some family photos before the mayham began.

Here's the really cool part. It'd been raining all night and this morning until we started unwrapping our first couple of presents. THEN, IT STARTED TO SNOW! This is one day of the year that I love to have it snow. It's been snowing for over an hour. Roofs are turning white again, the grass is turning white too, it's so pretty (but cold). I am so thankful for my family (and friends too). I treasure every year we are together.

I hope you all had a great Christmas morning (and day) too!

Well Christmas has been wonderful to us. Very relaxed day. Eric was VERY surprised by his gifts. He hasn't put down the IPOD since he got it. My friends and family have accepted the fact that I love all things Disney and showed that with all the disney gifts. They all did great. But the best was what Eric got me. It was the mickey pendant from Swarovski. Well i'm off to start dinner. Turkey, with all the trimmings! Yummy!!! Merry Christmas to everyone.

Are you boxing on Boxing Day? I'm going to feel sad once the Christmas comes down.

I usually love Christmas but this year there werw a lot of issues with my family so I am actually glad that the hokidays are behind us. I have joined "Curves" and plan on getting in shape and losing a bunch of weight. I booked a cruise with my BFF for next October. Girls only cruise. The new year is already looking brighter! :cool1:

Well we just got back from a short ski trip, at which I didn't ski. I am not very good at it and didn't feel much like falling down alot this year. I'm a little sad everyyear at this time. I love Christmas but once the gifts are opened it's really over for me. I just keep thinking about our cruise in Sept. and I don't feel so sad. Christmas day Eric was so happy to show me a show on the History channel. It's called Modern Marvels, but this one was all WDW. It was really cool.

Cyndi I had a friend that loved Curves. It's really designed for a woman. I hope you enjoy it as much as she does.

I hope everyone is having a great post-christmas week.

I hope that you enjoyed your ski trip even though you didn't ski. I like Curves so far. I am on a mission. I want t lose 50lbs before my next cruise in October. That's my new years resolution.

So here we are at New Years Eve, what are your plans? DH and I always stay home. I am a little paranoid about all the drunk drivers so I feel better here. We have a nice dinner then we pop a bottle of champane. Anyone goin to any swanky parties?

 Hello, everyone! I figured it was about time I checked in with ya'll so you'd know I'm still alive & kicking! ;)

We usually drive to the next town over to my brother's house, but this year we just felt like staying home. Krystina is asleep ALREADY! She played HARD today with some of her cousins & passed out in the Explorer on the way home a short while ago. Glad to hear everyone is doing well. Take care & stay safe!! :wave2:

Happy New Year, everyone! We stayed home last night and had our best friends over for dinner and stuff. Nothing too exciting. I'm with you Amanda, I don't teust the roads on New Year's Eve either. Have a great day everyone. My DS and I are spending the day together today. DH is at a football game in Jacksonville. We are having a morning at the park, lunch at Wendy's (his choice), a movie (The CHronicles of Narnia), and then dinner out.

Amanda, what a GREAT surprise! You are all going to have a blast. We docked next to the Magic in Grand Cayman and I thought about tendering back to her for a walk thru but........ I did have a great view f the outdoor screen from our balcony and we were close enough to just about hear it too. When you wish upon a star................

I am happy to report that I can now say that I will be cruising THIS year, not next!!!! I have been on a planning kick today. I can't wait!!!!! Dh still thinks we are staying at POP, little does he know that I have been saving up since our last cruise and we are staying in either The Contemporary or Boardwalk Villas. I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!! :bounce:

I am sooo very jealous! I would love to stay at the Boardwalk, but I am just too cheap to pay that much for a place to sleep! But I would love to stay there one day, I just cant wrap my brain around that price! LOL

Trust me Amanda I feel the pinch too. But we can only go to WDW every couple of years or so because the price of airfare. So I thought I would treat him. Hey if you and Steve come up early to the parks for the cruise you know welcome to stay with us before we leave on the ship. So dreamin about the Boardwalk might not be to far off.

We will most likely never stay at one of the Deluxe resorts once we have kids. I don't think they would apperaciate the stacking washer and dryer. But I love Pop so much I am actually having trouble staying somewhere else.

I stayed at Port Orleans once and it was nice. I would love to stay at the Grand Floridian but way to much $$$$$ for me.

The GF is just way too much. I can't see spending that kind of money. I think it's nice but not something I think that Eric would like. BWV have a stackable washer and dryer, that in it's self is worth it. That way we only have to pack enough for one week instead of two. And the idea of not having to go out to eat is very appealing.
