Found us on page 2. No, I'm not ready for turkey day. I've we'll have a house full of 18 bodies and I can't seem to get past the regular chores around here. Very frustrating. BUT, I am looking forward to the friends that will be coming! Any one know a good stuffing recepie that I can cook on the stove instead of using the bird?

I use Pepperidge Farm hearb bread stuffing. I mix in chopped onions, celery, and mushrooms that have been slightly sauteed. The I add a little turkey broth in place of some of the water. Cheating, I know. We were going to have a houseful of people but now we are down to 4. My husband's uncle passed away tonight. They were not close but my in laws will be leaving for North Carolina on Saturday and won't be back until December. Not as much fun but less work for me, I guess. My side of the family and I are having issues due to a problem with my sister in law so none of us are spending Thanksgiving together. Long story........

Sorry i've been away the past couple of days. School sucks! Not really school so much as my math class sucks! Well ladies only 6 more days until I am in row 23 on the floor watching Mrs. Gwen Stefani!!! WWWHHHOOOO I am so excited! But before I let all that excitement take me over I have a history paper due that day. And not just any history paper, it is a paper on the most boring book about the divide of the roman empire. Can you say AAAHHHHHH!

Cyndi, do you still bake it or put it on the stove? I can't believe turkey day is so close! I have to get to the store! Aaaaaaahhhhh!!!!! Mentally, I'm a tom turkey running around trying not to get caught.

I am sure that you will have a blast at Gwen Stefani, Amanda! I have tickets for Dec. 20th in Orlando but I have to sell them. We were booked on a cruise in June and when my TA screwed up, we ended up going in December. I'll be in the Grand Caymans on Dec. 20th now!!!! I couldn't believe it. It sucks!!! I would of liked to see her with the Black Eyed Peas. She doing 3 of her concerts with them.

Taeja, I have cooked it both ways and both come out good. I usually cook it in the stove next to the turkey because its easier and AI like the top a little crispy.
