It's only 33 degrees here. That is cold even for Portland this time of year. How's the weather where you are? Well I spoke with Amanda and I understand her reason for thaking a break from the Dis and I don't blame her. If I wasn't so addicted I would join her. But there are other sites to visit from time to time . I hope everyone is has a great day!

Figured it would be easier to copy & paste my weather.com page than try to type it all in. Anyway, it's HOT!! Yesterday was around 90 and the same can be expected today. We are anxiously awaiting some cooler weather (and some rain.............STILL!)

Amanda01: My Pokie just turned 9 months and has gone into heat already!! She took us by surprise as we were planning on having her spayed this month. Now we have to wait until this is over with. Anyway, every time I take her out (I take her on a leash because our back yard isn't fenced) there is this ugly white dog, who looks like he's been in a couple of street brawls, out there waiting for her. He won't come near her while I'm out there, though. I've become a very protective "mother"! Oh the joys of parenthood!

As the holidays get closer, I'll be getting busier. I hope to post, but I may be lurking instead. I've got 18 people planned for turkey day! Do you all want come over and we'll really have a feast?!

Our Indiana weather has been very pleasant for tornadoes. We're no where near Evansville, its very south of us and just North of the KY. border. Today's weather report is 63ish sunny w/ wind.

Well Mason has a date with the vet tomorrow. He will become a non-man! He started ....um... becoming "friendly" with his stuffed toys. So last week we set up the appointment cause I have a long weekend. He is so spoiled that I have planned my weekend around taking care of him. Lord help me when I have children!

Taeja, I feel your pain. I am having the family over for Thanksgiving too. I LOVE to cook but the pre and post cleaning can be a pain!
Amanda, good luck with Mason. Poor little fella! I'm sure that he would rather be at Disney!!!

He's doing great! Well I think that dog has to be catholic because he sure has the guilt thing down like my mom. He was giving me those sad little eyes when I dropped him off this morning and then even more so when I picked him up. I of corse got him some toys to make up for it all. Now that he is completely awake, he's being a terror. It was funny this morning with the cats. They saw me leave with Mason and then they saw me return without him. They were being so sweet to me and DH. Then when I came home with Mason they were not happy. These animals are far too smart for my own good.

That's funny! I'm glad he's feeling better. My dog Libby did the same to me when she was spayed. The sad eyes, the pitiful looks, then the mischief.

What can I say, it's just the beginning. The holidays may not be here officially, but they are for me. I have begun to dread a trip to the mall. I have decided to only go during the week at opening. Otherwise it's not worth the hassle.

I need to get most of my shopping done before our cruise. I won't have time when we get back. I am hoping to go to the outlet malls in Orlando next weekend. We are going to MGM studios on Saturday, so maybe Sunday.
