Wow - this thread is staying active. What a fun group - it will make the next 23 months just a massive planning party!!

I haven't posted - been busy and today I went to the doctor to find out I have severe bronchitis. Yuk!!

Kathy - excellent idea to gather all our names - I'll print it out this weekend. First "real" names to go w/Dis names - then faces!! That's what is neat about the roll call - w/pics. So, guess I'd better find a pic of DH & I to post!!

We are in!! I put the deposit down and we are so excited! I will have to pick the brains of everyone who has been before with all my questions. Hopefully it won't be too annoying We are going to Mickey's Trick or Treat party at California Adventure tomorrow, I will link to a trip report for anyone who is interested when I get it done. Disneyland has been crazy crowded lately and it will be hot (it is 94 today, but only supposed to be 88 tomorrow ) We are a family of 4 Me, DH, DD (will be 12 at time of the cruise) and DD (will be 9 at the time of the cruise) We are excited to meet everyone and I LOVE the website. I will try to figure out how to post on the roll call. Now I have to go and finish a Peter Pan and Wendy costume for tomorrow

Oh me too! On the WBPC we pretty much depleted the pineapple supply.

Which reminds me....think they'll have enough Mickey Bars for us. As I recall they ran out on the WBTA last time!

They don't have a European supplier, so once the stock runs out after they leave Port Canaveral, there will be no more until Castaway Cay. Normally they don't stock them on CC, but we told every CM we could find to let the Captain know that we wanted Mickey Bars delivered to CC.

lol sorry pudding over in the uk just means dessert not what you guys call pudding as in like mousse type custard. We just tend to call that custard!

ok, I figured there was something I wasn't getting.....but still, haven't had dessert at Taco Bell either....oh except for a Choco Taco, ice cream, wrapped in a waffle cone, all in a taco shape.

Hey Everybody - took the day off from the computer and have lots to catch up on.

lenzs4 - I met your parents on the TA and we were living in Phoenix at the time and just felt bad for them. It was painful to hear becaue that is our worst nightmare - not getting to the ship on time. That TA cruise my husband wanted to leave 3 days ahead of time. Of course, no argument here.

Thistle - LOVE your dog picture, but you know me and dogs. I made a copy and hanging it on our TransAtlantic refrigerator. Love your dogs too Kathy. I wish I could post a picture of my dog - I will try!

Hadley - your pictures from Gibralter are gorgeous! I am using them for my TA scrapbook.

I love hearing about the different foods from all over that everybody eats or cannot get. Have a great day everyone!

funny how the Magic was completely overstocked for the PC EB cruise Actually the reason why DCL had to take everything back from the West Coast is cause they were done with the rental space .. So anything and everything was put aboard the Magic for the return trip ... So I dont think we had a shortage of anything unlike what we had on the WB TA in 2007 ...

I belong to a Bunco group that has been playing for almost 20 years!!! We started when my youngest was in Little League and he'll be 28 this year! We've "altered" the rules a bit from what is shown on wikipedia but the most important aspect is that it's a night out once a month!!!!

At this point - no. I'm currently flying solo for now (except that Amy and Dave will be right next door to me!). She babysits her great grandson (his Mom is a teacher) and she doesn't want to take two+ weeks off and leave them stranded. Tried to talk my sister into going but she says her daughter would kill her if she went without the family and they can't take the kids out for two weeks (actually the oldest boy would be in his first year of college and the girl will be a junior in HS). I'm hoping to talk my youngest son into going along but since he has never cruised - he thinks he will be bored as he likes to be active. I've tried to talk him into it but at this point - it's too far away for him to consider. I've decided I'm going no matter who goes or doesn't go! I still have plenty of DIS family on board!

I have all of the menus from the 2007 Westbound TA! At dinner on the last night, I asked the assistant maitre 'd if I could get them and he brought the entire set to me. I will be at the Food and Wine Festival for the next two weeks, but when I get home I will be happy to post them (if nobody has in the meantime).

I, for one, would love to see the previous TA menus. I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but I LOVE menus. When we go to WDW, I pretty much know what I'm having before I get there from all the times I've looked at the menus. Pathetic, isn't it? But true.

She finally did her business 3 times Shes eating normal now too, so she must have passed it all.
She is now banned from the bedroom unless one of us is there. She is worse than any of my 4 kids for getting into trouble

Hi all!!
I've been watching this thread since I posted early on that we had booked it, but have been in denial about posting more, because we booked this cruise "with hopes" of going and I didn't want to make a bunch of wonderful friends and then have the possibility of not being able to go! Well heck...its so much fun already...we will have to go no matter what happens! LOL

It totally reminds me of the TOAL EB PC cruise thread....which was nearly impossible to keep up with but so much fun! We had an amazing website for that one too, which made it so much easier to find info and links that got buried so quickly. It also made it really fun to plan activities. Stephanie...your site reminds me alot of it, so thank you so much for all your creativity!

Somewhere recently were postings about scrapbooking....which I love to do! I just started scrapping the 08 EB PC cruise and love reliving every moment of it! We had an amazing scrapbooking swap on one of our sea days, and I got some of the most amazing swap items that I have already began using in my album. If there are a bunch of us scrapbookers, this would be a blast to do again!

The Barcelona Glides, look amazing. I have done segways in WDW 3 times and DCA once and love them, so this will be a must do for us.

The Gibralter picture is amazing.
The monkeys scare the you know what out of me.....I would not enjoy that part at all!

we are booked alone right now, but I waffle back and forth whether to bring the kids. I would really like to take this one without them, but not sure how we would pull off leaving them for such a length of time. My DS15 is disabled, and although doing well at this point in time, who knows how he will be in 2010, so it is a grand feat to get family & possilbe RN care for him. We do have family all around us, but it is still a concern that wears me out. We are limited to what we can do when they do come with us, so it would be nice to do what we want, when we want......like join our fellow pirates for adult activities this time! LOL

Its so fun to see so many previous cruisers, and great to meet so many new fun cruise friends!! We are booked on the 6/27/10 Wonder 5 day double dip with 20 other members of our family. I have been watching a few of the Tortola cruises next April & May for our 25th wedding anny, but haven't booked yet!
