WHAT? Hmmm.... May have to look into this. I already have 4 cruises booked, but what's one more. Besides, I need to sail on the Wonder again so I can see the new Toy Story show...

Caught up with the posts now. LOL... That was a cute pic of the Baby with the good Capt. She had a blast on the TA. Will have to do another updated one of it. HMMMMM... Ya reckon I can make a bikini out of the pirate napkins for her now. about 20 lbs heavier and much taller now.

Question...do any of our former TA sailors have copies of the menus? I know they won't be exactly the same on this cruise but I sure to love to look and drool!

I have all of the menus from the 2007 Westbound TA! At dinner on the last night, I asked the assistant maitre 'd if I could get them and he brought the entire set to me. I will be at the Food and Wine Festival for the next two weeks, but when I get home I will be happy to post them (if nobody has in the meantime).

How old was she in the picture (well, on the cruise in general)? It was adorable.... she definitely looked a little skeptical of our captain, even if just in the picture!

Oh Marilyn, you are angel! I love looking at the menus, I asked for the set from the WB PC repo and our server, Pema, provided a full set, including the embossed AP menu with Cinderella on the outside.

I can't believe we are going to miss this by one month! We will be on the Wonder Feb 8-12, 2009. We usually do longer cruises, but I wanted to see Toy Story....

I am on that cruise too, lol. The cruise thread for it is under 20 pages, easy to catch up on. Nothing like the last three cruises I have been involved in.

Hi Gang,
Wow - this thread is staying active. What a fun group - it will make the next 23 months just a massive planning party!!

I haven't posted - been busy and today I went to the doctor to find out I have severe bronchitis. Yuk!!

Kathy - excellent idea to gather all our names - I'll print it out this weekend. First "real" names to go w/Dis names - then faces!! That's what is neat about the roll call - w/pics. So, guess I'd better find a pic of DH & I to post!!

After about an hour of meandering and taking in the earlier sights we made it to the cable car and took that to the top of "the rock" where we were treated to views like this:

And saw many of the Barbary Apes (a misnomer as they are actually monkeys with very short tales and not apes). These apes are AGRESSIVE and have no fear of humans at all. They will try to take any shopping bags you have, grab food from hands if you are crazy enough to eat in front of them, etc. However, they are cute:

We wandered around up top for an hour and a half enjoying the views and the trails (lots of very scary drops with no gaurd rails be careful) before walking down to St. Michael's cave (lovely and COOL--it was a hot day--very fun) where we whiled away another hour:

From there we took the cable car down from the mid point stop and walked back to our beloved Magic for chicken fingers and Mickey Bars

I looked into that, but the price of the 4 day would only be $200 less than this 14 day cruise. No way I could justify that!

Special guest stars will be Marty Klebba (Marty) and Lee Arenberg (Pintel). I've actually met Marty before at another pirate event. Haven't met Lee, but I have pictures of him from the Red Carpet at DL for the 3rd PotC movie.

You might have been able to manage it with the old ones, but they've got new ones now that are cut in half. I couldn't even get that thing tied on my head.

You can't get Reese's Peanut Buttercup or Taco Bell! OMG! I never thought about not being able to get those where you live!

Hmmmm...I've never been to the UK so I don't know what Mr Kipling's Cherry Bakewell Tarts are...but I do like cherries, so I would give them a try!

What is something you have where you live that we don't have in the states?

Hmmm something we have that you don't have probably lots of things but I always go for food so I'll say Pineapple Lumps and Moro Bars

We do have most of the other big fast food chains, KFC, McD's, Burger King, Pizza Hutt, Star Bucks so not totally cut off
