I am trying to pack today. But after shopping yesterday it is harder, have to leave something behind. Did I mention that I live on a sailboat so it's hard for me to just lay things out and leave them like others can do in a spare room? So once I start a project I have to finish it.

How adventurous!! We have some friends who bought and rehabbed a trimaran they bought in France. Together with a captain and first mate, they sailed around the world with a group of friends for about 4 years when their kids were in elementary school! We loved when they would fly home once and awhile for holidays as they would show such great films and pics of their adventures.

I am just wrapping my mind around villian night. I never wear purple so I am think of maybe a purple accessory?

No question is dumb!!! Some people are going all formal, but some are just wearing purple and black. I have a purple T shirt which I will wear with some black trousers/crops. Some won't be doing anything different to their normal cruise casual. Just go with what you feel like.

Well I have had 3 emails from the Praktik Rambla. The first one I only saw written in Spanish and was worried they had cancelled my reservation or something, until I scrolled down and found English!!! There are 3 events on while we are there and they want to know if we want tickets. I haven't heard of 2 of the people, the 3rd is a football match with Barcelona playing at home to some unknown to me team. so, I won't be spending any money on these.

What do you mean updated your TSA information? Is that something everyone has to do? Jason and I are using DCL air and flying on Delta on Monday. Should we be doing something other than show up at the airport at the appointed time to check in?

Found out when checking my reservation on Delta's website. Disney booked my reservation, so I was checking to see when I had to print my boarding ticket. Not available for me yet.

What an amazing adventure .... I would love to do have done something like this when we were younger.

I understand. For us coming back from our US holidays, we stay awake that arrival day and go to bed as late as possible. Don't nap. Usually sleep like a log and late too, but then the second night is completely different. Awake very early or in the night and very tired during the day! It gradually gets better night after night, but can go on for sometime for some people. We usually say 10 days before we feel normal.

Like you I can cope with an hour of shopping, that is why I seem to have to shop every day at the moment. I do love a shopping trip with a friend though. Lots of coffee breaks, lunch, and a right good natter. Little actual shopping.

Phone thing can get fixed, its just frustrating, beagles are on best behaviour
It isnt formal night, good q, I just bought the posh frock cause I could.
I have to say, the dress I bought was much nicer in a blue colour they had but went for the purple, which is probably a bit silly ,I never wear purple either, a purple accessory would be perfect, anyway, It probably only the mad dissers with purple stuff

What information is required?
For all of the countries above, the following information which is obtained from your passport or travel document, is required to be entered into your booking, where possible, prior to arriving at the airport.

•Full given names and surname (your passport and booking must match)
•Nationality
•Travel document type (i.e. passport or identity card)
•Travel document number (i.e. passport number)
•Document expiry date
•Document issuing country
•Gender
•Date of birth


You ok? you need to tell them your advanced passenger info to get to spain from the uk, I would guess its the same coming from usa, they just need your passport and home address before you get there.

We already have to do this in the UK and have for quite some time for flights to the US, but more recently for European flights too. It doesn't take long to do. We call it API, Advance Passenger Information.

Oy that is disturbing. I don't even have our flight information in my office with me now. I will have to pull it out and look at it....We just assumed all the details were arranged and all we had to do was show up at the airport with our bags. Where did you find the information on their website? Did you go to the "check in for your flight" section?

We had a note from Delta about updating our info. It is not at all hard to do- they just want your full name and birthday. Just go to your reservation page and according to Delta:

"If you have an existing reservation and are unsure that it meets the Secure Flight requirements, please access your itinerary now and scroll down to select the “Secure Flight Passenger Data” link on the right side of the page. Then, submit your information as it appears on your non-expired government-issued photo ID. Please note that the name that you provide does not have to exactly match the name on your ticket or SkyMiles account."

Laura (Eeyorelvr10) is already having flight issues due to Hurricane Earl. They have been re-routed from Atlanta to La Guardia but the flight from NYC to Barcelona leaves out of JFK.....they will arrive into LGA at 4:08 and the flight to BCN leaves at 5:40.....not much time, so lets hope that they make it.
