Oh in which case it may be a bit flippy lol! If you use the full version I found a cheat:
  1. Press File & Print from the top menu bar
  2. Under "Print Range" the section reading "All Pages in Range" should be changed to "Print Even Pages"
  3. Then click "Print"
  4. Put all pages back in the other way around
  5. Press File & Print from the top menu bar
  6. Under "Print Range" the section reading "All Pages in Range" should be changed to "Print Odd Pages"
  7. Then click "Print"

Hopefully this will work.

Thanks, Sarah. I will try that.

Rene

::yes:: Somehow, I have a feeling we are going to get into trouble on this van. :lmao:

Don't know whatcha talking about, I'm a perfect angel! Though Mum and Robert said they were going to do everything in their power to embarrass me so keep an eye on them...

Our TA said our documents came USPS so it seems DCL spreads it around. I got 4 luggage tags. Two have both mine and Bob's name and two just have mine repeated twice. I think I resemble that!! val

I think the first name on the tag is the primary on the account and the second name is the traveller. So on our tags, one set had my name twice, one set had my name then Robert's and the other set had my name then Mum's name.

I've still got a few pages to catch up on but I'm working out of town in the north island at a little town called Napier which is a Unesco World Heritage site. It 1932 (if memory serves me correctly), the place was pretty much flattened by an earthquake and they rebuilt quickly so many of the buildings around down are fabulous Art Deco buildings. For those on FB, you'll see me posting a few pictures. If you want to see, just find me on FB - I'm sure you can guess my real name (just say you are a Dis friend).

Ok, better go and loose myself in my rental car for a bit :rotfl2:

Beagle, as long as I can video-tape it! LOL! Sound effects and all!

And that's ALL your ordering? LOL! Dieting???!!!

Hey Erik we share a birthday, except I was born 6 years earlier:thumbsup2

Well happy belated birthday to you, too, then!!

I called this morning about jury duty and they moved it to the first week of December...so that is one stressor gone. Jason also called and changed our flight down to Orlando next Thursday. We were booked on a flight that left around 5:30 that got switched to a 7:40 flight----but the more we thought about it the more we didn't want to take that flight (even though we originally agreed to it) because it wasn't direct and it wouldn't have us landing in Orlando until almost midnight which meant after picking up luggage and the car we wouldn't get to the resort until very late...adn we want to be at the Universal Parks early the next morning to try to get on all the Harry Potter rides (we have the insane idea of trying to do both Universal Parks and both Sea World Parks in just 2.5 days if we can----and we've pre-paid for the express passes at all the parks and everything). So he called and they agreed to switch us onto a direct flight leaving at 5pm so we'll get in at a better time, be able to check in, get a good night's sleep and be up for a Universal marathon on Friday the 3rd! :)

Hey Erik - I have seen you and Jason in action at the parks, and with the express pass, you should have NO problem with Universal. Abby and I did one park, everything, with Express Pass and we were done by lunch!!! We went to Islands of Adventure the next day and the same thing. Don't stress, very easy and we rode Spiderman and Men in Black at least 4x's each!!!! The whole Harry Potter park was not open, but the roller coaster and one other thing was. Abby did the roller coaster 6x's and I watched - whimpy!!!

It didn't do much good TBH!!!

I only realised the mistake when I was at the gym and my trainer asked what date I was going. As we haven't had the August Bank Holiday yet, I knew tomorrow couldn't be September 4th... :rolleyes1

:rotfl::thumbsup2

Hope everyone is doing well, I'll have to catch up at somepoint.

Jon

We'll certainly all be catching up in 3 weeks!:thumbsup2

Same here, no bright and earlies for us anymore. But, the eye clinic called and said poor Dennis has to be there at 6:30 am on Monday. So, I guess I will have to set an alarm for that day. We can just think of it as practice for our flight out of Spokane on Sept 13 which leaves at 6:20 am.

That is very early...but for a good reason I suppose!:thumbsup2

I made the thank you business cards yesterday!! I made 10 that have Captain Mickey on them and say Thank you for making our journey magical, for CMs on the cruise and I made 30 that have Mickey holding out a flower that say Thank you for the magical moment. Those we can use at WDW as well as on the ship. I love making CMs smile :goodvibes

That is such a kind thing to do

OK everyone I think the "Final" Version of the Navigator is ready. I can still update things like errors or people's room numbers but the main bulk of the writing should be accurate. Obviously we still don't have tasting dates but I think the rest is ready and Penny has done her magic to create the printable versions. She is working on the Digital version for those wanting that but below are the versions. One of them is if you have a printer that can do Duplux prints and two are for those people with single sided printing where you need to reload the paper once you do one side.

Duplux Dis Version

Non Duplux Odd Pages

Non Duplux Even Pages

Oh and again if people can't access them please pm me your email addy and Ill send you a copy

Brilliant thanks Sarah :worship:

If anyone has any corrections to the navigator I'm going to try and lump them together for a Final "Final" version! One typo has already been found so feel free to pm me anything you notice or post on here. Ill try and keep up with any that appear but hoping there will only be a couple and by the end of next week we may have it all done and dusted after all its only 3 weeks now until I leave for the cruise and only 3weeks 1 day until were there. Just wanted to get this out for the B2Bers who are leaving soon!

As said for those taking electronic equipment, an electronic version is on the cards and Ill post as soon as its available so don't worry it is coming! Our wizard Penny is working on it! She did a fab job on getting this done so quickly as I only sent it yesterday so I just wanted to say again bug hugs to Penny!

....and to PJ too!:worship:

Sounds wonderful! Can't wait to see WWOHP after our cruise! :cool1:

:littleangel:

I think we had to be off by 9 last time as they wanted to take it straight to dry dock!

I hope this cruise is not like the 2008 EBPC. They did not clear the ship until 8:45. It took then took about an hour to clear customs.

Um being the most untecky person this is copied from Pennys description

  1. print even page file,
  2. flip,
  3. print odd page file,
  4. fold.

That's what I did but back page is on the flip side of Dis Contact List (7000's) and Front Page is on the flip side of the page that starts "Family Entertainment". Every other page is backed by the proper page as far as I can see. It's a mystery!

It was too much for my little peabrain. I finally just printed one page at time and checked it as it came out to make sure I had the ups & downs and numerical orders right.

:cutie:

:cutie:

LOL I think if in doubt this is the best option! My brain hurt and I haven't even got a printer here!

I enjoy James Patterson also. I've read most of the Women's Murder Club books but I must say I LOVED "When the Wind Blows" and "The Lake House" - I mean LOVED LOVED LOVED them. I went to college for English/professional writing and there are a few books that have really grabbed me and made me want to write a book that is captivating - Those books were two on my list. The others are the entire "Flowers in the Attic" series (I know, strange and twisted books, but for some reason I couldn't put the series down) and "Jemima J" by Jane Green.
I love Jane Green and have almost all of her books!

I sent Amanda out for a garment rack and hangers since my bedroom looks like a mall blew up in it. For the ladies who shop Lane Bryant: some stores are offering their gold dot clearance for $5.99 until Sunday!!! I'm not sure what I bought last night or if I need it but I couldn't stop myself. There was a ton of summer stuff perfect for our trip. Now time to get organized and see what else we need.

The print out is not working for me either. I have page 12 on the back side of the last page, etc, etc...all messed up. I think I will just print one page at a time as well so they can at least be sorted and then stapled together. :surfweb:

Glad I'm not the only one... ;) Night, Corinna!!!

I'm off to bed myself. Just have to pay for a dress I'd forgotten I bid for - and subsequently WON - on eBay... Oh well... :rolleyes1

I hope you are pleased with your surprise purchase.

Corinna, do you have Netflix in the UK? The Pillars of the Earth is available for streaming on Netflix now. I am currently watching it on Starz (we have a season pass on our TIVO), and I am enjoying it very much. The 2-hour finale is this Sunday!

No unfortunately not. We have similar companies, but not Netflix.

"The Pillars of the Earth" is a great book and one of my favorites as well. :thumbsup2 It's one of the only books I've ever read twice and I read quite a bit. Have you read "Night Over Water" by Ken Follett? I thought that was a pretty good book too.

Kristi

I don't think I have ever read this, which is actually quite a surprise. As far as "The Pillars of the Earth" is concerned, I am on my third copy as I have literally read the first two to pieces.

I got our jewelry kits.

I'm doing alright, my abdominal muscles are pretty sore but I know it could be worse.

I hope you are all doing well.

Thanks, I had updated my list that yours were received a week or so ago. Now I just wish that the other kits hurry up and get to their destination. Every day when I log in, I am all excited thinking that some might have arrived, but there has not been any good news since the beginning of the week.

I am glad that you are doing OK.

I am Adventures by Disney on the Med cruise and my understanding is that they fill up your day with ABD, too....you get up and off early and get back to the ship right about dinner time.....so i don't think I'll be much help in terms of shopping for you, either.

However...I did want to offer that if you can find someone who is on the Med cruise but is NOT a B2B person...and that person is willing to buy it for you in tunis and then give it to me and jason, we could hold onto it for you until you get aboard on the WBTA. Not as much help, I know...but thought I'd at least offer.

Thanks for the offer. I think I am sorted. By the way, I wish you a belated Happy Birthday.

....I got home from cheerleading tonight (last night before the trip...THANK HEAVENS!! What an exhausting summer!!) and I have a letter informing me I have been summoned for Jury duty beginning on Sept. 20th! :lmao: now that is one more thing I have to deal with before the trip....have to call them tomorrow and let them know there's no chance! :rotfl2:

I was summoned for jury duty just before our Florida vacation in 2007. Fortunately I finished on time. I absolutely loved the experience.

NO pack yet will eb sure to let you know :)

Thanks for letting me know. I hope that they get there sooner rather than later.

The Mickey Ears are all spoken for....PJ, Paula, Corinna and Jason will all be wearing Golden 50th anniversary Mickey ears!

Thanks for offering this to us. This is one less thing that I have to worry about.

I don't understand, aren't you on the Med cruise? What's the item you want. I am sure I'll have time to shop for you. If I don't then I can find somebody to do it. So what is it? Connie

Unfortunately not. We did the first Med cruise this year and loved it. I so wish I could do it again. However, I still have to work up to September 16th.

When we were in Tunis in April, I bought two beautiful Tunisian dresses. They are so soft and look stunning. I bought one at the hotel that we went to for the DCL beach break and one at the shop at the port. In the shop at the port they had also a royal blue dress that I really wish that I had bought and really I would love that and one other in any colour but brown or white. They were very cheap at EUR20 as well and come in one size fits all.

Here is a photo of me wearing the dress that I bought at the port:

I have made a note of those. I am forever looking for good books to read.

Corinna,

PM me - not sure what my plans are but I can look. I always make time for some shopping. Let me know what you want and I will absolutely try to pick it up for you. We are not doing a DCL excursion so we should have time. With my son on here - he will not let me come back to the ship with less than 1 hr to go before all aboard time. The drawback to a neurotic man-boy.

Thanks for offering. I will PM you shortly.

I'm lucky I can go the gym in the daytime when the lycra gang aren't around so much.....I just grit my teeth and ignore the rest.......plus I am so short sighted I don't see them!:thumbsup2

We don't have this problem at my gym. It is right next to the Gay Village and the hunky gay guys are not in the least but interested in what the women at the gym look like. There are a few other women about, but most of them are a bit of the curvy/ vertically challenged side as well. The gym has just got a wonderful atmosphere. We are going to their other branch in town on Sunday as this is where we will have our spa treatments and it will be interesting to see how they compare.

Well happy belated birthday to you, too, then!!

I am glad that you got everything sorted.

I did ring Cargo today asking what their take on magnets is. The answer that I was given is that a small amount of fridge or promotional magnets is no problem, but probably best in the carry on as they can be picked up when the cases are screened and might be removed. Any large number (I used 100 magnets as example as I will have that many on the way to Barcelona, but only 20 or so will come back) need to be sent as airfreight and need to have proper documentation. If you have more than 10, I got the impression that the safest option is to split them and put a few in each carry on. So looks like most of us will be fine and I will use a road based service to ship my magnets to Barcelona.

My Passporter and my luggage scales have now arrived. I will put aside some time over the weekend to read through the Passporter.

I have a question. I finally got my heart rate monitor this week and tried it out today when I was in the gym. This made such a difference. I know that they have Technogym equipment on the Magic, which is the same brand that we have at our gym here. Does anybody know if their equipment will be able to communicate with the heart rate monitor?

Corinna

I have been trying to help Sarah (Gismo1554) get a faxed copy of her gift order. Since it has been a few hours since I called in and got her confirmation # and no fax, I thought I will call back to see what the deal was.

Well here goes, first I find out from the customer service person that the Disney fax system has been down for a week. When I asked why I was not told that in the first place, she did not know. Her explanation was that if Disney can not do things with "excellence" then they do not do them at all.

I was then offered to have an email sent which would take 4 - 7 working days. Since that seemed excessive even to her, she told me that this was as far as she could go but a supervisor could probably help me expedite this or help further. She then offered to transfer me to a supervisor which I was curious enough to let her transfer me.

I then spoke to a supervisor who told me that there was no estimated repair date for their fax system. Jessica then told me I could send an email to
dcl.reservations@disneycruise.com. I should include my reservation # and amenity confirmation # and what it is and what it says on the gift card etc. She said I should have an answer within two working days.

While I had the supervisor on the phone discussing Sarah's order, I asked her about when DCL was going to upgrade their excursion reservation system.

Jessica told me that had done a major upgrade this year. I told her that I felt it was not enough as it clearly had the same problems people experienced in 2008 with the EBPC and the WBPC reservations.

I told her I felt that DCL should have the same type of system that their disney.com system must have to handle the many, many orders it must be taking every day.

Of course, she said that she would pass on my concerns which seems to be the party line. I wonder if they will ever join the 21st century in computer technology???
